Great location, clean and easy to access!

Luis was a fantastic host. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He left a lot of information regarding activities and local restaurants. He deserves top marks as a host. The apartment is lovely. It has lots of space, great lighting and absolutely everything you will need for a great stay. The off road parking is a huge bonus. We had a lovely stay at this apartment and would return in a heartbeat.

This was definetely the BEST AirBNB that we have ever had and propably ever will. José, the host, is just such a nice guy, he gave us a very warm welcome when arriving and he was flexible with his time and arranged to be there when we arrived. He gave so many great recommendations for food and activities on the whole island. This is exactly what you need when you are completely new to a place! He even noticed my birthday during the stay and gave me a present. This was so sweet, THANK YOU AGAIN!!! Also for our checkout he said goodbye to us personally the evening before. It was just so great. The house itself also has everything that you need. Everything was super clean and the view from the balcony is just so wonderful. Also the house was cleaned every 3rd day, which is a big benefit compared to other AirBNBs. It just felt like home from the first minute. If we will come back to Sao Miguel we will for sure return to Slope House. Thank you José and hope to see you again some day! :)

Beautiful Airbnb ideally located on the island to access all the sites. The pool is very nice and the accommodation has everything you need for a very nice stay! Hosts are kind, discreet and very responsive to the slightest request. We had a wonderful and memorable stay, Thank you 🙏

Our stay at Pedro’s place was superb! The space is beautiful and was equipped with everything we needed. Parking was pretty easy and the town itself is quite walkable. Highly recommend

If we could give this place more than five stars, we would! The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and feels so cozy. The view from all rooms over green fields, Ponta Delgada, and the Azorean mountains is simply breathtaking. Everything is as shown on the pictures. The location is a nice 20-30ish min walk to the town (more pleasant downhill however). The surroundings felt residential, quiet, and safe. Carla herself is an exceptional host: she went above and beyond to accommodate our early check in, answered our questions immediately, checked in with us throughout the stay, and even made the effort to help us book cafés and a ride to the airport. Her hospitality and generosity make her already nice place a real gem!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is well furnished and very clean. Especially the kitchen is spacious and surprisingly well furnished for a vacation apartment, there is an induction stove. As much as we enjoyed going out, we always liked to cook with regional products and fresh fish from the farmers' market, which is only a 10-minute walk away. The location is very central. The only drawback was the somewhat noisy street, although you could still sleep well with the windows closed. For ventilation, you can leave the window in the kitchen open to the quiet courtyard. The neighbors, probably also tourists from another apartment, were occasionally noisy, but we were just a little unlucky. Overall a good experience, we would book again.

What a beautiful place to stay, peaceful but at the same time easy to get to all the iconic sites in the island. Petra is a fantastic host and was very helpful. I would recommend hiring a car as public transport appears to be quite irregular. Thank you Petra

Tip top! Clear recommendation. :-) We spent 5 nights here and felt right at home. Very clean accommodation, a beautiful view from the terrace + jacuzzi overlooking the sea and super helpful and friendly hosts. The tranquility there is also indescribable. Here, however, you definitely need a rental car if you want to do other things, as you live far away from the big cities. That's exactly why it was perfect for us.

We had such a wonderful stay! The hosts were extremely proactive about helping us with any and all needs. We were traveling with a 1 year old baby and they had everything prepared for him including high chair and crib all set up. We are so glad we got to spend a wonderful week at this property. We had a truly fantastic stay at Chez Marie! We could not have been happier with the house, the location, and Marie’s friendly and responsive hosting. The house is lovely inside and out, with beautiful stone and plaster work inside, stunning views from every window, and a beautiful back garden where we enjoyed our coffee while watching the sun rise over the mountains every morning. The location is also perfect - easily walkable to everything in Furnas but outside of the town center enough to be completely peaceful and quiet. The town of Furnas itself very charming with plenty to do and see, and centrally located great so a place to launch adventures all around São Miguel. Marie is a terrific host! We really appreciated her helpful recommendations of restaurants, sights and activities, and her quick and friendly responses to our questions. We loved our trip so much we are already dreaming of when we can come back to the Azores, and we would love to stay at Chez Marie again.

We would come back without second thought. Vitor's place was as described and we felt like home right away. Spacious, clean and nicely decorated kitchen (well equipped), living area and bedrooms. The place had all we needed for our 5 days stay. Host was very responsive, helpful and polite. Check in very smooth. We would recommend this place to our friends.

What a beautiful home!! It is in a great location, with a gorgeous view of the coastline from the spacious deck and from inside the home. Everything was provided, we did not need to contact Fatima for anything during our stay. She let us enter the unit before check-in when we arrived earlier than expected. The place is very clean and well kept, you can tell that she takes pride in her home. She left a goodie basket of local food items on the counter which was delicious and very much appreciated! If you plan on staying in Sao Miguel, I would highly recommend this place!

The apartment fully matches its description. There are three proper bedrooms: two with double beds and one with two identical single beds. Additionally, there’s a bunk bed in the living room. The balcony is very beautiful, and there’s a parking space in a gated area, which is very convenient. The only thing to note is that the entrance to the parking is quite narrow, but we had a fairly large car and still managed fine. The hosts were very pleasant, responsive, and always quick to reply. The apartment was clean, and everything went smoothly. We highly recommend this place for any type of guest.

Spacious apartmant with everything you might need. Place was very clean. Location was perfect, quiet town, centrally located. Having a dryer was a godsend because the island is very humid and it would take forever to dry clothes otherwise (we stayed with a child so we used washer/dryer a lot). Private parking space in front. Check in was smooth. Only thing, the blinds for the windows should be better, all the light came in the rooms despite of them (late sunset, lights from the street...).

Loved our stay! There was a bit of an ant problem but we’re pretty sure that was due to the weather/season. Sara is a lovely host, and was very clear in her messages.

mariana’s apartment is super comfortable and clean, great view and just some minutes away from a great beach, we had an amazing time there.

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Gorgeous home with breathtaking views, modern, clean, well kept, well appointed. Laundry a plus. Had eggs and wine available to us at check in! Parking is a little tricky to get through the gate and orient the car so that it is easier to drive out but we figured it out quickly. Great location near airport and restaurants. Luis was very proactive about towels and linens.
