Apartment vacation rentals in Playa del Carmen

This rental was in the perfect location! So close to the beach and 38th. We ended up barely going to 5th, but that was close too. We ate almost every meal on 38th. Every restaurant was delicious! The pool was great, not busy at all. Plenty of chairs and beds to choose from. The pool bar opens at 12 and closes at 7 I think. We did see people having coffee and maybe some food there in the morning at one point, but we aren't sure what they have as far as that goes. We did not see another breakfast option at the condos. The room is 1 floor above the building entrance to the right. Balcony looks out over trees and then Martina beach club is a block in front of that. We liked the privacy of looking out over trees. I will say on Saturday, the beach club was playing very loud music until 6 am. You could hear it thumping all night, even with the fan on. It didn't ruin our trip and we would stay here again, just something to keep in mind. Every other night was quiet.

Excellent place to stay, the location is amazing, very close to the beach and 5th Avenue where you have access to different restaurants and shopping. Despite being close to 5th Avenue, the noise from the nightlife was never a problem, so I highly recommend it for a few days of relaxation. The only thing is that if you bring a car, the place does not guarantee a place to park and you have to park on the street, paying a parking meter at certain times.

Perfect location - directly on the beach. Beautiful condo that is well appointed and spotless with a great Italian restaurant next door. Very easy access to the beach. Marisa is incredibly friendly and helpful with my requests. Front desk/receptionists are also lovely. I would definitely stay here again!

I loved Rodolfo’s place. It is cozy , well equipped & very hospitable. I love the vibration in the house. I woke up every day happy. The vibration of the whole building is amazing surrounded by nature. For nature lovers , hippies , spiritual minded folks this abode is a gem. Rodolfo dwelling was designed to facilitate a comfortable and enjoyable sojourn. Rodolfo is very responsive, affable , considerate & attentive. As a guest one couldn’t ask for more. I recommend this abode wholeheartedly. Would have given 6 stars if allowed unfortunately 5 Being the max Will have to settle for it. I’ll happily book it again upon my return to Quintana Roo. Very nice stay, in fact nicer than in the photos, Mary was always attentive to us, giving us quite useful instructions, there is an Oxxo and supermarket nearby, although you need transportation to get to Quinta Av. easily.

I really loved the residence, it's a very nice place, it looks just like the photos and it's a spectacular place if you're looking for privacy. At night it is usually noisy because of the location but that did not prevent our rest, Remmy was attentive at all times and I would definitely stay here again

Loved this place! The instructions to get into the community were a little confusing but we were able to work it out okay. The community is beautiful and they have decorated the apartment gorgeously! My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer and use all of the amenities! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

I loved it, the location is excellent

Carlos is a great host, he was always attentive to what was offered to us, he also recommended transportation from the airport to the Airbnb and from the Airbnb to the airport, which was super safe and punctual. The Airbnb is a very nice clean place, a quiet and safe area, everything is very close to restaurants, 5th Avenue and the supermarket. We will definitely return to stay there

I had a great stay, I travelled alone and was there for 6 days. The place is a bit of a walk to the beach and restaurants, so just make sure you’re up for that. The space itself was really clean & looked like the pictures. My only issue was that the shower had a really awkward placement next to the toilet, but that’s really my only complaint.

This apartment is beautiful. The front two rooms have amazing views of the ocean and are very comfortable. We are a family of 5 and the space accommodates us beautifully. The two teenagers squealed when they saw their room with two queen beds and what felt like an additional room just for the walk in closet and bathroom space. Juliana was the most perfect host, quick to communicate and very very helpful. Access to the beach was close and easy, the pool area is HUGE and the restaurants on site made food options easy. The local shops and restaurants are a quick taxi ride, which Juliana assisted us with. There’s also a Spa onsite which was a surprise. The services are very reasonably Priced and while we went to the spa itself I do believe there is an option for them to come to the unit. One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had.

A good place with an excellent location. A large kitchen and very comfortable to spend time with family and friends.

My stay was great. I booked it last minute and they were very quickly to accommodate my stay. The amenities were great. The staff at check-in was extremely helpful and the communication was very quick and easy. Highly recommend staying here. I will stay there again.

Great location. The place has its own small plunge pool. Close to the beach. small gym on the rooftop, rooftop pool is available for use that looks out to the ocean. Would recommend

Michaels place was fantastic! Great location close to 5th Avenue and a few steps to the beach. So many great places to eat. Like other reviewers have mentioned you can hear the music but if you close the door to the bedroom it is very light does not bother you at all and I traveled w 2 kids under 2. The kitchen is equipped w all the basics you need. Overall I would stay here again. Thank you Micka.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Natali's very spacious condo. It was exactly as described with a beautiful ocean view from the living/dining area a huge pool and beach club. Natalie was a personable, responsive and knowledgeable host. She always responded to our messages and was able to help us procure the services we required. The condo's kitchen made it very comfortable to create a meal there. We were only 4 blocks from 38th Avenue or 5th Avenue in the heart of Playa del Carmen. The restaurants on both of those streets provided excellent meals and were reasonably priced. Besides great Mexican food, we tried the local Thai and Italian providers. The major grocery store, Selecto, is on 10th Ave and is only 8 blocks away and it was outstanding. There was always a cab waiting outside the condo/resort if we needed it, but we enjoyed walking the neighborhood to take in the local ambiance and entertainment.

I have loved every minute of my stay here; it is an incredible apartment with the best view in Playa del Carmen. The amenities are excellent, and the apartment is well-equipped, very light, and spacious. Communication with the hosts was perfect, and I highly recommend staying. I look forward to returning :)
