Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Pico Island

I really loved my stay at this house. It was absolutely gorgeous and such an idyllic location. It was everything i needed to relax for a couple of days. Susete was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. I would definitely recommend stressing here.

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in der Casa da Figueirinha. Wir haben die Unterkunft, wie beschrieben und sehr sauber vorgefunden. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für den Aufenthalt benötigt. Fátima hat uns im Vorfeld bereits mit nützlichen Tipps versorgt und war auch während des Aufenthalts bei Fragen stets erreichbar. Ein Highlight waren die Nachbarn: Kühe auf der Wiese direkt neben dem Haus! :)

I would give this place 6 stars if I could but before booking be aware that the location is quite isolated and, depending on the time of year, the small bar/cafes in the village might be closed. So, bring provisions because it would a shame to have to go shopping once you have arrived. This place had everything we needed including lots of charm and some thoughtful touches that are increasingly rare these days.

Le logement de Marta est un joyaux ! Très propre, simple et fonctionnel. Quand il fait beau, le jardin est un véritable petit paradis, tout comme le village entier. La vue mer est à couper le souffle !

We used Rita's house unfortunately just for one night stand in Horta, what was a pity. We really enjoyed this place, it was very lovely and comfortable and we felt like at home! 😊

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Sao Roque und dem Appartement von Noélia. Wir haben die Wohnung perfekt sauber aufgefunden, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem versehen, was man sich für einen längeren Aufenthalt wünscht. Der Kontakt mit Noélia war unkompliziert und sympathisch und sie war immer da, wenn wir etwas brauchten. Herzlichen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Loved Madalena's place! It was about a 20minute walk to meet-up spots for the tours we had scheduled. The place itself is very spacious and well appointed! Madalena was very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Das Haus liegt über Santo Amaro mit einem wunderbaren Blick über den Ort, auf das Meer und Sao Jorge. Das Haus ist geräumig und sehr geschmackvoll sowie hochwertig eingerichtet. Mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einem Bad. Der große Ess-/Wohnbereicht mit offener Küche ist ein wunderbarer, großer Raum mit hoher Decke und riesiger Fensterfront zum Meer. Hier lässt es sich ausgezeichnet verweilen und bei jeder Wetterlage die Aussicht genießen. Das Haus liegt zwar direkt an der Straße, man hört aber kaum Autos. Aktuell wird unterhalb des Hauses ein anderes Haus gebaut - von der Baustelle kommt ab und zu etwas Lärm… aber das ist ja irgendwann zu Ende ;-) Wir hatten ein paar sehr erholsame Tage in dem Haus :-)

Rosario and her son were responsive and helpful during our stay. As others have mentioned it is a small studio space but is fine for a short stay. Location was great and they were able to store or luggage before check in and after check out.

Heel knus huisje, aangebouwd aan huis van de eigenaar. Gezellig en praktisch ingericht. Goed bed! Goed uitgeruste keuken, met koffie, thee, kruiden en een welkomstbiertje. Mochten gebruik maken van de moestuin en de verse eitjes. Makkelijk om in centrum Horta te komen en dichtbij de supermarkt. Auto wel Aan te bevelen.

Zeer mooi appartement met geweldig uitzicht over de haven van Horta. Je zit in het centrum van de stad maar toch helemaal privé. We hebben ´s ochtends op het terras in de zon kunnen ontbijten. Faial bezoek je best met een huurauto.

Très bon accueil de la part de Paula et Joao qui ont été arrangeants concernant notre heure d’arrivée et nous ont aidé à récupérer notre véhicule. La maison est bien située, accessible en voiture depuis le port de la Madalena et proche de l’aéroport. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ! Je recommande vivement

Superbe accueil dans ce joli petit appartement au rez-de-chaussée d' une jolie maison au bord de l'océan. Equipement très complet de la cuisine et de la salle de bain, propreté irréprochable, très bonne literie dans la chambre séparée, parking à proximité immédiate, nous avons passé un excellent séjour, merci beaucoup, à recommander+++

The appartment was perfect for two people. The view was beautiful and definitely a highlight. A rental car is necessary since there isn’t much within walking distance. Two cats live there when you're outside on the balcony—it was always nice to have them nearby. Another great feature was the whirlpool, which made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, a wonderful stay! We can highly recommend appartement T0.

Wonderful stay on Pico island. Close to the sea and natural beach, but also to the mountains. Everything was in perfect state, fully equipped kitchen.

Perfect location in the heart of Horta. Easy to walk to the marina and all the restaurants and bars. The apartment was spotless and extremely spacious. Host is very responsive and extremely helpful. Excellent home for your visit to Faial.

Die Wohnung von Margarida ist äusserst hübsch und praktisch eingerichtet… uns fehlte es an nichts. Die Lage ist super zentral und gleichzeitig ruhig. Horta ist ein bezauberndes Hafenstädtchen. Margarida war eine super Vermieterin… ich kann diese schöne Unterkunft zu 100% empfehlen!

Eunice was an amazing host. She was always responsive, helpful and very kind. We had issues with the lock box and within 10 min she had the matter solved. We would definitely recommend Eunice as a host!

Thanks for a lovely stay in Madelana. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The garden was a big bonus. Easy to walk to restaurants in town and very close to ferry terminal if you’re travelling to or from Faial.

Geweldig verblijf op Failal! De accommodatie heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, het is schoon en is mooi gelegen in ‘Varadouro’; je kan zelfs lopend naar het natuurlijke zwembad aan zee. De host geeft je veel informatie en tips en is goed bereikbaar! Aanrader!!

We had a great stay on Pico in Paula’s apartment. It is modern, well equipped and free parking on the street in front of it always available. The communication with Paula was convenient and the self check in worked smoothly.

Stunning place in Pico. I think the best in terms of location (beautiful house on the ocean where you can enjoy sunset and sunrise). Very comfortable flats with everything at your disposal. Location is also perfect to visit the island. But the most important thing is the kindness of Ines and her mother Paula, two incredible hosts that will make you feel at home ❤️
