Family-friendly vacation rentals in Pico Island

I highly recommend it.

The appartment was perfect for two people. The view was beautiful and definitely a highlight. A rental car is necessary since there isn’t much within walking distance. Two cats live there when you're outside on the balcony—it was always nice to have them nearby. Another great feature was the whirlpool, which made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, a wonderful stay! We can highly recommend appartement T0.

Extremely nice "park" where you stay. It is nice and quiet and the cottage is spacious, beautiful and typical in Azorean style. The pool is lovely and in a good place, the jacuzzi makes it extra fun. It is a 30-minute drive from the cottage to most attractions and nice restaurants.

There are three separate apartments in the accommodation house. All are in top condition, with a great view and well equipped. Unfortunately, the kitchen is missing the essentials like oil and spices, which would have been nice. Otherwise, there is little to complain about, especially if you like cats you enjoy the daily visit of the walkers. And of course the hot tub is not to be forgotten as a highlight 👏

Great place to stay, and facilities were great! Was so nice to have a pool and jacuzzi and the location was great for going to all parts of the island.

This was a great stay, but definitely listen to the other comments about humidity, everything is a little damp. The hot tub was amazing, the kitchen is small but does the trick, and the floors are a bit funky under foot.

An unforgettable experience. Lorenzo was very helpful and very nice in sharing his life at sea with us. Highly recommended!

Mario and Carla were really kind and sweet, left us local things to try and made us feel at home from the really first moment. The house was clean and really nice to be in. We really suggest this peaceful location for a stay in Pico.

We had a great time at this cosy dwelling. The beautiful vista to Faial island was certainly a plus!

Great stay at Patricia's, the accommodation is in a great location, close to Horta and the marina, with a very nice sea view. Recommended!

Beautifully located house with nice sea view. House is very well maintained and clean. Cesar and Therese are very good hosts. Everything was present in the house and that is sometimes different for some accommodations. You had to drive a little further for groceries, but we found that no problem.

Accommodation in a very good location, beautiful environment. Some basic supplies are available that are useful. Perfect for two people, no more. Exchanges with the host are limited to what is necessary. Clean and well-maintained space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Antonio's place. The perfect mix of modern amenities and old farm style charm. We were spoilt with local specialities and felt warmly welcomed and right at home. We enjoyed staying in this small beautiful quiet village and explored the rest of the island from this special homebase. Just magical. Highly recommend it.

We had a great stay here. The view from terrace is amazing and also the house itself is very cute, clean and equipped with everything you need.

The house is very pleasant to stay in, the only thing opposite is the sea. Very peaceful, we would have stayed longer. The Magma restaurant is very good for breakfast and dinner, delicious meat. Smiling hosts available.

No words can describe our experience at this amazing vila. It was absolutely amazing: the house itself is very well located, the views are stunning. Marcos and Diana were very helpful in everything we needed. Pico island is an amazing place on earth and to get to know the island like we did was only possible with this 5 star accommodation. We chilled, we had swims in the infinity pool, had great barbecues…I will be back for sure. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Marcos for all the hospitality and kindness.

A special place, very quiet, clean, excellent for babies and children. We became two families, very spacious, with all the necessary utensils available and a spectacular host, always available to meet us. We feel at home.

Our vacation with Grandma and Grandpa was a great experience on the island of Pico and in the wonderful house of James. The house with pool was our favorite in the selection, so there is something for everyone. View, swimming area, pool, cozy retreats in the house and in front of it. It has everything you want. Only the weather cannot be influenced and therefore we still have an account to settle with Montana de Pico. That's why we'll come back and, if possible, definitely to James'.

This is an incredible property. Every detail has been thought of. The views are insane and the house is decorated impeccably. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food at Magma, their onsight restaurant, was the best we had in Pico. The pool and yoga studio, just breath taking. We loved our entire stay here and will return. Like others have said, the driveway is steep. Grab an automatic or be proficient with your manual car. We had a 7 person manual van and managed fine but we are comfortable with manual drive. Highly recommend!!! We didn't want to leave.

Lava Homes was everything we wanted and more for our honeymoon. The home was gorgeous with its two bedrooms, large bathroom and absolutely amazing views. We’ve stayed at a lot of air bnb’s in Europe, North and South America, but this view and the beauty of this stay surpasses them all. The pool and amenities were gorgeous, the restaurant was delicious and the team at Lava Homes were incredible. We already want to go back. Thank you!

Even before we arrived, we had the feeling that we were warmly welcomed. We received all the necessary information in advance. The house is on a quiet street. The view, the pool and the evening atmosphere are indescribable! At around 10 p.m. the Cory's Shearwaters come back from hunting and hold their "concert" for about 30 minutes. A unique experience that is rare outside of the Azores. The house is very well equipped, you can cook really well and there are also great restaurants not far away. It was super clean. We were given a very warm welcome and everything was explained and shown to us thoroughly. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house!

This little apartment was a cute clean place to stay. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of fans as sometimes the islands get warm. The kitchen was fully stocked. We felt right at home. I stayed with my husband and son and my mom and dad also stayed in another room. My dad is hard to please and he said these people have a nice thing going on here. I recommend this place to everyone.
