Waterfront vacation rentals in Pico Island

Very nice apartment at the center of Madalena with a view of the port. Everything present in the apartment including airco and demoisturing device which is great, the host is super friendly and responsive to requests, the place is very clean and towels are changed regularly! Ideal location for diving in Madelena or boat trips since it is very close by. We stayed with 3 and the place is small but so well organized that it worked well ! I can only recommend.

Great welcome in this nice little apartment on the ground floor of a nice house by the ocean. Very complete kitchen and bathroom equipment, impeccable cleanliness, very good bedding in the separate bedroom, parking nearby, we had a great time, thank you very much, recommended+++

Ola Agostina! We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, and perfectly located—just a short walk from everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the accommodation looked exactly like the photos, if not better. Agostinha Maria was a truly exceptional host—kind, generous, and attentive. She welcomed us with everything we could possibly need for breakfast: fresh eggs, bread, jam, butter, fruit, cheese, coffee, and even two bottles of wine as a delightful bonus. Her thoughtful hospitality made us feel right at home. She also shared fantastic local dining recommendations and gave us access to a fully equipped summer kitchen, which added to the charm of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed getaway. The apartment is well located, especially the view from the terrace is just amazing and we enjoyed spending time there. It is very peaceful. The place has everything you need and is decorated with lovely unique details. It can get a bit humid inside on rainy days but if you keep the house door closed and only open it when the sun is out again, it is not an issue. We received visit from a few cats. Especially the neighbor's cat, a beautiful gray colored female, liked to come by to cuddle a bit - very sweet.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at imofaila’s home . Our host was very accommodating and welcoming. She easily communicated before and during our stay. She even organized a last min tour to make the most of our time on this beautiful island. The space was clean , comfortable, and in a great location . We hope to have more time in this beautiful space when we return to the island .

Spacious and super clean apartment with a fantastic view onto the Atlantic (we saw dolphins and whales!). Fatima and her family are very friendly and take very good care of the house and guests. The village is a nice place to start your Pico adventures or relax in the beautiful area!

This is an absolutely wonderful place. It is a beautiful modern gem with INCREDIBLE views of the oceans. António was so helpful with the check in and check out process. Also having a parking spot come with this place is so helpful in Sao Jorge!

being hosted by Romana made us feel at home: her house is immersed in a beautiful garden where she has chickens, super friendly cats and various aromatic plants as well as a vegetable garden. She is always available to have a chat or give some useful information about the area. Almoxalife beach is very close as well as the center of Horta. Highly recommended accommodation and host

We very much enjoyed our stay in this Airbnb above Madelena. It was a great choice to stay on the outskirts. Stunning view from the house: lovely to spend time outside with a book or just watching the sun set over the ocean and island. The house itself is very comfortable and had everything we needed.

We love the house. Marcelo was very friendly and hospitable. He welcomed us with a bottle of white wine, a loaf of bread, a big chunk of cheese, and a big bottle of water. He has provided lots of information regarding restaurants and sights. The house is very conveniently located. It is near the airport, close by to the ferry station and wine museum and restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks!

Sacha is a very friendly and supportive host. Here house is beautiful and perfect if you travel with kids. The location is great to enjoy the view over the ocean and relax whilst it’s good located for discovering Pico island.

We had a fantastic stay. Daniel greeted us with a smile, helped us with our luggage, gave us a tour of the property and inside the house was an amazing basket full of fresh fruit, veggies, cheese and snacks. Would 100% recommend this place.

Nice, modern place with plenty of space. Quiet area. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Everything as described. You can easily fit 6 people in there.

The house exactly matches the description and photos. Very well located just a few minutes walk to the Lagoa in front. In my case, I also traveled for the waves, we are a short distance to get to both sides where you can surf. As for the 4-wheel motorcycle transport that is required to get to the house, Susete also quickly took care of this service through Mr. Luis, who, despite me carrying a lot of cargo (bag with 2 boards + travel bag, + 2 supermarket bags (almost 30 kg), easily found a way to transport everything safely and very quickly. Lastly, still on Mr. Luís, I also highlight your Nordic punctuality. On both motorcycle trips (arrival and return) I was already at the location before the scheduled time. One last note: Since there are no supermarkets in the vicinity of the house and along the way from the airport to there you will only find a few grocery stores, I suggest you go to Almeida and Azevedo, in Velas.
