Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Pescocostanzo

The accommodation was perfect, great location, close to walks, activities, historic sites and shops. There is a lakeside bar a short walk away. Views from the house looking out to Lake Scanno and the mountains are spectacular! Great hosts, very responsive. My partner and I came here as nature tourists after I visited and fell in love with Pettorano sul Gizio during a work trip in May 2023. The accommodation itself was clean and homely, and the views spectacular. We spent a lot of time sitting on the living room balcony watching the birds, and even a wild boar family on the last night! If we were at the accommodation we were probably on the balcony, and we got up at 5am some days to enjoy the dawn chorus. The beauty of this place and its abundance of wildlife cannot be overstated. The town itself is beautiful and we enjoyed the local food and drink on offer from the nearby shop and café. There are many walks to do in the area and local towns to explore. The place was a home away from home and we are sure to return!

We stayed for two nights at Federica's place in Colli a Volturno. House surrounded by nature, a few minutes' drive from the town center and from restaurants and services. Giacomo, who handled the check-in, was very kind to give us tips on what to see in the area and was available. The lake of Castel San Vincenzo is about 15 minutes by car from the house. You can park on the street a short walk from the house. For me it is a fantastic place to relax and to visit the surroundings, hiking or trekking and the hosts are keen to have a great stay by providing everything you need. We loved the terrace and the family of kittens that practically live in the building opposite. Good value for money in general.

House was exactly as described. Even had a dryer which was awesome! Very nice stay and close to town!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chiara's, in lovely Capestrano, for two weeks in Abruzzo. It looked just like her photos, with ample space on two floors to spread out. The kitchen had the amenities we needed to prepare tasty meals with incredibly fresh local produce and dairy items. The small refrigerator was helpful to store our perishable culinary treasures. And wine! Tucked at the top of a staircase off of the small road, it was very quiet and very close to the main piazza. Whenever we needed groceries, a pharmacia, delicious morning espresso with cornetto, or a nightcap with some of the regions incredible wines, we were only a 5 minute walk away. Chiara was always quick to respond to any questions and very helpful with suggestions of what to do and see in the area. So many beautiful, charming mountaintop villages to explore! We felt very safe staying here and leaving for the entire day, to marvel at this most extraordinary, naturally stunning area of Italy.

This was a magical setting and wonderful stay - we could not have been happier with our visit. Alessio is a superb and helpful host with deep local knowledge, always available for consultation and recommendations if needed, but never imposing. An absolute gem!

Everything was very nice and very faithful to the description made , Massimo was always available while Grandma Ilde welcomed us as a loving mother welcomed her children after a long trip, immediately available to cook something for us, she covered us with attention, offered us a dessert made by her very good and we immediately felt at home. Lovely and quiet place, even our dog had a lot of fun. highly recommend it.

Caterina was extremely helpful and helpful, always ready to support us. The property met our needs exactly, it was clean and suitable for a family like ours with small children and with the park immediately in front of the property. The ease of parking is definitely another point in favor of the property. Definitely a property that we recommend and that we will consider future visits to Roccaraso!

Leila was very helpful and we enjoyed staying at her place. We had wet weather so the fireplace was wonderful for drying out and staying warm! The accommodation worked well for our family of two adults and one child; there was a bunk bed so it would also work for a larger family. Pesscaseroli was a convenient base for exploring the area. The place is very spacious and comfortable. The family who hosted us is made up of special people and very hospitable, especially Grandpa Giò. It is very easy to reach the train station, both on foot and by car, also because in front of the station there is a large free parking lot. The property is in a very quiet area from which you can easily reach the surroundings and organize pleasant excursions. Highly recommended!!! Thanks to Roberta and her beautiful family!!!

We have been at Eugenio's place three times over the past 2 years. It has always been a great experience! Eugenio is the perfect host: friendly, proactive and responsive. The flat is very comfortable and functional, it is well located within waking distance from groceries, (the best) bakery in the area, coffee shops and the historical centre of the small town. It is easy to reach by car from the highway and you can park for free just along the street. It is well equipped, with air con system for the hot months and a good heating system for the winter. Beautiful view from the large windows (perfectly tight and isolated). I can only warmly recommend a staying at Eugenio's place!

A unique house with a nice atmosphere, well-equipped, with lots of nice items and pictures. The garden, the terrace full of plants that are nicer than beautiful. You can tell it is cared for by careful hands, with love. We would love to come back.

The stay was very pleasant. The villa is perfectly as described, in the countryside immediately behind the overflowing coast. It is perfect for a stay with friends or large families and as a starting point for excursions. It has a large garden and abundant spaces in the kitchen and living room, and with the summer an interesting outdoor oven.

Nice accommodation with all necessary facilities, a big garden and a magnificent pool. Located in a quiet area with superb views on the surrounding mountains. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Ornella was a wonderful host, and we loved staying here! The house is about a 35min walk to the top of Pesche, and a 5min drive to Isernia. We have recommended this place to all of our family that will soon visit. Only downfalls of the property: A little cold in the house, but there were plenty of blankets. Also, the water was not very hot, which made showering a bit uncomfortable. All in all, we would definitely stay here again. It’s cozy and quiet, and inconveniently located to everything we wanted to see.

We used Serena's place in a particular context. Indeed, it was a support point for our team that was participating in an international sporting event. We had a wonderful weekend in this villa surrounded by greenery, a real corner of peace to get away from the routine. Right away, the host was helpful and attentive, guaranteeing us a peaceful stay. The house has exceeded expectations: spacious, cozy and tastefully furnished, with clean and well organized environments, equipped with every comfort. The location is ideal, surrounded by nature but well connected, with the ski slopes reachable in about an hour. After a day in the snow, we wanted to watch the Sanremo final, but the comfort of the sofa and the warmth of the environment captured us... and we fell asleep! An unforgettable stay, which we will definitely repeat!
