Our stay at the Great Pond Airbnb was incredible! The house was beautiful, cozy, and fully stocked with all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the paddle boat—it was magical to take it out on the lake early in the morning and watch the sunrise. Truly a dream! Finding the place initially was a bit tricky (we missed some details in the instructions), and cell service in the area is spotty, so definitely screenshot directions beforehand. Once settled, though, it was perfect. Being just over an hour from Acadia National Park was a huge bonus! We had a blast hiking, especially on Precipice Trail (challenging but amazing!) and Beehive Trail for a slightly easier, but still fun option. This spot offered the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway!

Second time going to Acadia and second time staying here. It’s literally perfect, the whole way through. We are from Michigan and it gives you that Upper Peninsula vibe if you know what I mean.

The bungalow is cozy and comfortable. We throughly enjoyed the walk through the woods and sauna. Mayya goes above and beyond as a host! She is extremely kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

Adorable cottage, newly renovated. Perfect for two with an open space loft for one more. Kitchen is well stocked right down to the coffee. A good location if visiting Fort Knox, Mt. Barrie and not too far from Bar Harbor if that is on your list. Great stay, highly recommend. Beautiful view and private.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs across the country and I’m not exaggerating when I say that Lydia’s place was one of the cleanest and most well-maintained homes that we’ve been in. The property and scenery are breathtaking. The numbers of birds and chipmunks that entertained us while we sat on the back deck was surprising. We ate all of our meals with the exception of lunches at the cabin and had everything we needed to prep and cook our food. This trip was all about relaxing and Lydia’s home was everything we needed.

Eric is a super friendly host and he knows the local recommendations. His cabin is easy to check-in, clean and very peaceful. One sidenote is this listing doesn't provide wifi, making it ideal for people looking for an unplugged getaway. We truly enjoyed our time on the beautiful Maine coast!

Absolutely loved our stay here! If you're someone who enjoys being close to nature and traveling with your dog, this place is perfect. The surroundings are peaceful and green. Fabiola was super friendly and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The house rules were clear and straightforward, which made the whole experience stress-free. We felt really welcomed and comfortable the entire time. All in all, a great stay—we’d definitely come back!

The cabin was breathtaking, with a history painted and photographed among her walls. Perfect amount of space to accommodate a family should you have one. The morning sunrise was spiritual, and humbling. Host was incredibly friendly and accommodating for our dog. Arjuna. Will absolutely be returning. Thank you for an amazing and beautiful experience.

Galen and Cindy were wonderful hosts! The cottage was incredibly comfortable and made my husband, daughter, and me feel right at home. The location is perfect—just about 30 minutes from Acadia National Park and close to great restaurants and shops. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! 😊

Stephen's place is a gorgeous getaway for a fam. it's literally ON the ocean - with multiple jaw dropping views. Best part was the view from Dining room! clear and crisp communication and great stay. would recommend 10/10.

Such an absolutely magical place to stay! My pup and I stayed for a month while I worked and played. Gorgeous views of the Beech Hill Pond and close enough to various towns for hiking, sightseeing and enjoying local food. Spent time on Deer Isle, MDI at Bar Harbour & Acadia, and even made the trek to Lubec. if you want to experience a wee bit of winter and early spring, mid to late March into April was the perfect time. We had a few inches of snow fall within the first few days of the trip. Don't hesitate to book this cottage!

Moon Bay Cottage is a cute comfortable Maine Style Cottage with a Maine Themed Beach decor. The view of the shoreline is great, and the complex the cottage is in, is very quite and peaceful. The 4 of us, all adults, were very comfortable in the living room. Kitchen is well equipped, which is good since the bulk of the area restaurants are a bit of a distance away. The closest restaurant is a 1/2 mile south (Noodle & Rice) was pretty good, and we went a couple of times.

You can stop searching for a place to stay because this is THE ONE. As a frequent traveler used to very nice accommodations, I have high expectations and it's rare that a place exceeds them, but Bay Meadow Cottages did just that. The cottages are extremely clean and obviously well-cared-for. The host communication was above and beyond. The pie and the coffee were really good. It was quiet and peaceful (tiny bit of road noise but not distracting). I would absolutely stay again and recommend highly to my friends and family. Also... the sheets were amazing. I slept so well. Definitely enjoyed the paddleboards and the Adirondack chairs for some down time in between hikes. It was the perfect getaway.

A little slice of heaven! The Nest was everything we hoped for and more. The sunsets over the crystal-clear lake were stunning, but what really struck us was how long the colors linger in the sky up here, creating the most peaceful and relaxing mood to close out each day. The cabin itself was cozy, thoughtfully designed, and the perfect size for our getaway. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, already looking forward to a return visit.

This is the perfect place for a quiet, cozy weekend getaway for a couple! About a 45 minute drive to Bar Harbor and/or Acadia, we spent the days exploring and the nights cooking and playing card games. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need and the bed was very comfortable. Tucked away on a quiet road, we felt right at home in the trees.

Can’t say enough about Craig’s beautiful lakeside cottage. If you like remote, peaceful and being close to nature this is for you. The house and contents seemed brand new and they had thought of everything we could want, right down to pancake mix, maple syrup and Maine blueberries for our breakfasts. An easy drive to Acadia. Craig was communicative, friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic stay and hope we’ll be back.

The place was such a needed cozy nook of a cottage. And we are so grateful that we got to experience it. You must chose this place! It was half an hr from bar harbor and so close to Acadia National Park. We are definitely going to come back!

I cannot begin to explain how incredible this cottage is! My only regret is not booking it longer! Beautiful, spotless and you cannot beat the view. Pictures are exact and don’t do this cottage justice. Beds were very comfy and I will be looking to return as soon as I can. Perfect space to celebrate a U Maine graduation.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The entire place is beautifully laid out and designed and clean. We were able to walk from the cabin to the trailhead and have a wonderful hike. We would absolutely stay here again if we’re in the Acadia area.
