The Gateway-Getaway is only about three miles from Mount Desert Island (MDI) where you will find Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. You will stay in an efficiency apartment above our detached garage which is in a quiet location (although occasionally our dogs bark when outside). Outside table and chairs surrounded by trees, birds and gardens in a quiet, safe neighborhood at the end of a short dirt road. Enjoy total privacy or ask your hosts for local knowledge. All one room, with kitchenette, queen bed, futon couch, and fold out single bed.

Two bedroom Private Guest suite encompasses the entire second floor of a beautiful country home on the Shore of Taunton Bay. Suite has it's own private entrance on first floor which includes large foyer and stairs leading up to a Dining & Sitting area. French Doors lead to a small upper deck overlooking the Bay.
