Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Pennsylvania

Stayed here for the weekend with a couple of friends. Place was absolutely beautiful and would definitely come again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Denise's Place. Check in was simple and she gave us easy to follow alternative direction to her place. It is an oasis on top of a hill! Her lovely home is situated on a beautifully maintained piece of property that is serene and welcoming. The inside is immaculate and inviting and we were even pleasantly surprised with a local homemade treat along with a lovely personal note. We truly felt welcomed and I highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

My wife and her friend stayed at Rachael's place for a mom's getaway and they loved it! The space was clean, tidy, and had every needed amenity. My wife especially loved the spacious shower and the comfy king bed. The location is also superb as it is near many restaurants and shopping areas. Thank you!

Great riverside cottage. I loved the decor and quirky rooflines. Love the back room overlooking the river. Easy to get to, lots of kitchen essentials and cookies 🍪. Very clean and comfy. Loved the pet friendly atmosphere with lots of extras for the dog, especially the fenced yard. Karen always responded very quickly.

It was such a wonderful peaceful place. It was a perfect birthday get away. We loved being close to the outlets and it was fun exploring around the place and the trails. The house had everything we needed and it felt like home!

A bit overpriced considering the location (middle of nowhere), late check in time, & early check out time, but overall a great place. Spotless & beautifully decorated. The bathroom is definitely the highlight of the place. Plenty of hot water. Host is responsive.

I don’t even know where to begin. We have stayed over 75 air bnb’s and this one by far has surpassed our experiences. You do not need to leave the premises at all! We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it was not enough time. Paul and Donna submerged you to total relaxation, party, and fun for every age. My 1 year old had everything she needed and 4 year old loved every activity to the adults having so Much fun! The house is so beautifully decorated inside and out and will be coming back so soon to bring our friends for a parents getaway trip!

Patrick’s place had everything my wife and I needed to make us feel comfortable during our 3 day stay. This house really is secluded. I had to drive on dirt and rock roads thru farmland to get to it and there were no other houses in sight. This is the perfect place if you’re looking to enjoy some peace and quiet and make some s’mores (which were provided by Patrick!) on the campfire. A little tip — bring some bug spray to fully enjoy the outside. We weren’t able to use the star gazing bubble due the uncooperative weather but the sunrise and sunset views were beautiful. Plus my wife was happy to be greeted by a family of 3 bunnies everyday. Most stores, restaurants, breweries, hiking trails, etc. are about a 10-40 min drive from the house depending where you go. I highly suggest taking the drive to Ricketts Glen State Park and hiking the amazing waterfall trails there. I would definitely recommend Patrick’s hideaway house if you need a peaceful getaway and a change of scenery.

Stephanie and her husband were incredibly friendly and kind-hearted, I absolutely loved them! Their home is beautiful, surrounded by nature and so peaceful. My friends and I really enjoyed hiking the nearby trails and watching the sunsets (along with the cows, which were such a fun surprise!). It was the perfect getaway, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

If I could give this ten stars I would. Far exceeded expectations. Hoping to make this an annual visit.

Michael and Sara are great hosts! The lake is beautiful and we had a great time kayaking. The unit is attached to their home, so you do hear a bit of noise above the theater room from footsteps. It wasn't excessive, but just something to note if you're a light sleeper. We would absolutely stay here again.

What a quaint and cozy little gem!! Beautiful setting and the place was spotless! Bed was comfortable and the skylights let in so much natural light! We will definitely return!!

We have stayed here a few times and it is the perfect place to sleep. There are many state parks close by for hiking and much to explore in Dubois

The house was very clean and the kitchen and free parking was a huge plus. The bed and linens were clean and comfy. It’s in a cute neighborhood and only a short drive into Lancaster. The only downside is the noise. The walls are very thin and the bedroom is right next to the road so you can hear the cars driving by outside. However a sound machine is provided so that helped a bit. I would definitely stay here again!

This is our third year staying over Memorial Weekend, and it always feels like home! We will continue to stay any time we’re in the area. Abby is delightful and her place is amazing!!!!

The Host is very communicative and easy to get a hold of. A huge bonus. The pool was an absolute joy for the kids. We did not realize that the loft was completely open with no real privacy. Not really the fault of the post. I just don’t think I read the description completely enough. But just be awarethey were kind enough to let us check out late, which was really nice as well. The property was not the most updated and cleanest we’ve stayed at, but it suited us just fine for one night. And again they were lovely and appreciate their hospitality.

Wonderful place to stay in Scranton! The apartment had everything we needed. We loved the front porch and dining area next to a big picture window. A full kitchen was a huge plus and Paul & Jess had everything we needed to prepare a great meal. The house was quiet, in a peaceful neighborhood and we felt safe. The bed was a dream and after many hours of driving, it was so appreciated. Even though we only stayed one night, it was a perfect stop. Thanks again!

As always, another wonderful stay at Roxanne’s and Doug’s. We could smell how fresh the inside was outside the door. Leroy even said commented on how good it was as we were standing on the private deck. The gas grill was so pristine it looked brand new. We couldn’t wait to cook on it. Roxanne recommended things to do on the rainy days. Places we didn’t know existed out there. We stayed two weeks this year and the cost was right in our budget. You really can’t find a nicer place to stay in such proximity to Seven Points. Already counting down the days until next year…364. Thank you once again for everything.

An amazing lakefront property. Great for hiking, adventuring, and skiing in the winter. I would stay again.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights while visiting Pittsburgh. The experience was seamless and very professional from start to finish. There are lots of detailed explanations, videos, and labels explaining how to find/do everything which is really helpful. We found it very clean and cozy and in a great location. The host was super responsive and friendly as well. Would definitely stay again if we came back to Pittsburgh. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about the entire experience. For a first timer it was wonderful and a perfect experience! The condo was better than described and much more affordable than the surrounding options! Will be booking yearly!!! Patricia is quick to respond and very resourceful. They have a tons of ideas and resources available for you to explore. I highly encourage you to check it out.

Enjoyed our stay here, everything was clean and exactly like the pictures. Checking in was great, host instructions made it super easy. Will certainly book again.
