Waterfront vacation rentals in Oxfordshire

Wonderful host, apartment, and location. The room was big and comfortable, the balcony tranquil, and the host was excellent. Located right on the greenway for great access to parks and town. If I ever come back to Oxford, I’ll cross my fingers that this place is available.

Lucy’s home was in a perfect location for exploring Oxford. The accommodation was very comfortable and we appreciated the breakfast items that were provided. Thank you Lucy for your hospitality.

We loved our stay in this apartment. The apartment is very nice and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony overlooking the river watching the world go by. We found it to be a great location as all the main attractions in Oxford are within walking distance. There is no parking at the property but we found a convenient parking space using JustPark and did not need to use the car during our stay. Plenty of eating out options nearby and takeaways if you do not fancy cooking. If you want to cook all the facilities and utensils are there for you. We found the apartment to be very disabled friendly with wide doors and of course a lift for easy access. All in all a very enjoyable stay and would definitely book again when visiting Oxford.

I really enjoyed my stay at Karl's flat. It had a separate kitchen & bathroom. It was very easy to find and get checked in. It was very easy to walk to various places we were visiting. Karl was happy to recommend somewhere we could keep the car over night etc. I loved the fact we could see the Thames outside our window and on our last morning we walked to a lovely cafe called The Paper Boat. Thank you so much.

Poppy is the perfect host. She made sure everything went great during my stay in Oxford. She is extremely friendly and cares about your well-being. The studio is cozy and lovely, very clean, and has all the facilities you may need. Really enjoyed the garden and the birds living nearby the river. Central location close to the city center and lots of services in the surrounding area. Couldn't have picked a better accomodation in Oxford and it definitely will be my choice if I come back.

Thank you, we had a lovely stay in Oxford. It was a short walk to the center, with a nice walk by the river. The apartment was well equipped, clean, great beds. Bujar was very responsive and an excellent host.

We had a great time at Paula's place! It's so lovely and cozy, in a very quiet neighbourhood, yet just a quick walk away from the station and the city centre. She even organized a high chair for our baby, and welcomed us with everything for a wonderful breakfast. We couldn't use the garden as it was too cold, but it looked wonderful, too - the perfect place to relax after a long day out.

We really enjoyed our stay. Some practical improvements had been made since our last stay, in particular the new teapot was very welcome!

Great location, both in terms of locality and proximity to Hillfields Farm Wedding Venue. Clean, lots of parking and beautiful views with lots of natural light in the house. Very communicative and flexible host.

We had a wonderful time staying at Cathy's place over Christmas. It's a very comfortable house, exactly as described and photographed, with everything you need to feel at home. The kitchen is set-up perfectly for multiple cooks (super helpful at Christmas!) and family meals. The upstairs living room is bright and cosy. The bedrooms are quiet at night. All the appliances were easy to operate and everything worked as it should. Domino is friendly and easy to look after. Great location, a few minutes walk from the station/town and with lovely access to the river. We'd definitely stay there again!

The house , garden on the river and the area near the meadows and walking distance from Oxford town center is idyllic and relaxing and perfect

Our family booked Mark's house for an Easter break for us all. We absolutely loved the house and the space was perfect for all of us. Mark was very responsive giving us recommendations for The White Hart at Minster Lovell for a pub tea and delicious Bird In Hand at Witney for a delicious Sunday Lunch. We walked around Minster Lovell, booked Archery at Batsford Arboretum and visited Burford along with Cotswold Wildlife Park. We enjoyed cooking in for two nights, playing games and relaxing in the gorgeous house. My husband and I spent a few coffee's/glasses of wine discussing if the glass extension would work on the back on of our own house as we loved the room. Thanks again for being a great host and allowing us to enjoy your home.

I so enjoyed my one night stay at this absolutely unique waterfront hideaway right on The Thames! Carolyn is so friendly, considerate and helpful; making me feel right at home. There are lovely touches like an electric blanket if needed for the (super comfortable) double bed! Plus private table for your tea /breakfast with private waterfront lawn area. The ensuite shower room is great and there's a large hanging wardrobe too. The room is super quiet in a very peaceful residential area. Yet still only a 7 minute drive from central Abingdon. Highly recommend for a one night stay or longer if you don't mind vacating the premises during the day. A real find , thank you Carolyn🙏🌺!

We had a short stay of only two nights and didn’t really get around to using the many amenities provided, but never felt we lacked for anything that we did need. House and bed were comfortable, bathroom shower fixtures were easy to work. Good stay.

oh my goodness what a position actually on the River Thames. It was perfect for my 93 year old mother as no stairs to climb. Accurately described, a little rustic. Great communication replying in a few minutes. Feel very lucky to have stayed at Waters Edge.

perfect, home away from home

Evie's place was the perfect location - right in the heart of Oxford but very quiet on a private street. The apartment was perfect for our group of four women. Highly recommend!

Great location just south of Oxford central. Walking distance to most places. Had all the amenities I needed. Would recommend.
