The Dovecote — A Unique 3 Bed Tower Retreat

MarcoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay in this truly unique Airbnb! The architecture is amazing, with glass everywhere offering stunning views and a real sense of space and light. Sleeping in the massive tower was a one-of-a-kind experience—like staying in a modern-day castle. The outdoor hot tub was a real treat, especially with the surrounding views; just be aware it’s log-fired, so it takes a little extra care to get going. The setting is completely private and idyllic, with friendly horses just metres away who were happy to accept an extra handful of grass! Our host was incredibly friendly and attentive—keen to hear our thoughts as we were the very first guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with character and charm.
A rustic wooden barn with a sloped roof is featured, exhibiting natural wood siding and multiple small windows. Two large doors provide access, and the structure is surrounded by greenery, contributing to a tranquil rural setting.

The Lodge at River Acres

ElaineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A lovely spacious room with such friendly hosts. We were travelling with our toddler and they were so thoughtful going the extra mile to make sure everything was ok and even spoiling him with an ice cream and teddy! Such a treat to have fresh eggs delivered each morning. We will be back!

Beautifully designed Oxford City Centre House.

FrancesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Awesome house in a great location, very close to town! Just a note that the park and ride is a 4 minute drive, not a 4 minute walk (which is what I had assumed), we had a person with limited mobility so that was something we needed to work around a little bit but it ended up not being a big deal. Tony was super responsive and super helpful. We had a great stay. Thank you!

Spacious House with Garden in Central Oxford

LauraRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Great location that is ~25-30 minutes from city center and many of the sights like Radcliffe camera. Also has a well connected bus stop right around the corner that made it easy to navigate around much of the city (especially when some of our party was tired of walking). Rooms were pretty spacious (especially master and loft bedroom) and having access to a washing machine in the house was great. Henrietta was very responsive to any questions I had and we enjoyed our stay!

Delightful Cotswolds Apartment

ColinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
All I can say is WOW! Yvie’s place couldn’t be better located, yards away from the market place and beautiful church. Had a wonderful sleep and Yvie couldn’t have done any more to make me feel welcome. Yvie is a warm, friendly and super-interesting host, and she told me lots of local tips that really enhanced my stay. I walk a lot and stay in Air b&b’s all over the country, and Yvie’s is right up there with my very favorites, perhaps right at the top. Thankyou Yvie for a very memorable stay. Thames Path walkers - get yourself booked in, you’ll have a lovely stay here.

Glyme Flat - Peaceful Country Retreat!

LauraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We booked Glyme Flat as we were working in the local area for a couple of days. What a lovely place to wind down after a days work! The instructions to find the place & check in where especially useful as it is very off the beaten track. Make sure you've got them downloaded as there really isn't much signal there! Thanks very much :)

Salim's place is the best. It is better than what the pictures show. In many ways felt like home. Quiet neighbourhood, felt very safe. Internet is very good, when if slowed down I informed Salim and he sorted it out. There is a park 1 minute away where you can play football and kids can play as well. Finally, Salim is a very nice person who respects his guests.

Cosy Cottage in Central Henley On Thames

LindsayRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had a fantastic time staying in Henley for 4 weeks whilst I was between houses. Very comfortable and homely place. Everything that I needed was there and the host was always super helpful. Great location as 5 minute walk to Henley bars and restaurants whilst being in a really quiet street so no disturbances at night. Nice neighbours and pretty church across the road. Also a sunny garden which was great with the recent warm spring weather.

Hazelnut, an Idyllic Cotswold farm retreat

TarynRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Wow! Where do I even begin. Nena and her family, along with their staff, were extraordinary hosts. Very friendly and accommodating, and provided lovely recommendations when asked. The beauty of this property is unmatched! The hazelnut cottage was the perfect place to unwind and relax after our busy days in London and Paris. There was plenty to explore on the property as well - playing croquet on the lawn was a highlight of our trip! For our first vacation to Europe from the states, we wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else. We are already planning a trip back and will recommend these cottages to everyone we know. 1000/10! Ps. The carrot cake is delicious!
The exterior view highlights a charming cottage nestled among lush greenery, with a pathway leading to a glass room. Outdoor seating is visible on a patio surrounded by plants and flowers, providing an inviting connection to the surrounding garden.

Double room in newly renovated Cotswold Cottage

PhelixRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Sophie’s home was truly amazing. Located in this quiet serene location with walkable nature trail to a lake nearby, and with tastefully designed interiors and what I could describe as my dream kitchen, the only word for all these was just AMAZING! With very drivable roads it’s really easy to get to from Oxford. The bathroom is super clean and pretty with a nice tub. Would love to stay again if there’s a chance and perhaps get to meet Sophie and her family as they were away for the weekend!

SimoneRating, 5 stars21 months ago
We had such an amazing stay at Magdalen Cottage. It was exactly as described, the views were spectacular, and I'd highly recommend the walks in the guest book. The children absolutely loved the heated swimming pool, playing table tennis and jumping on the trampoline .. great location with easy access to Oxford for fun days out with the kids. Will definitely be visiting again! Thank you Felicity & James :)

Nena’s cottage is a hidden gem. It exceeded our expectations. The place is super cozy, squeaky clean and fully equipped to the smallest detail. The Christmas tree and welcome hamper were a kind touch that made our stay more welcoming. The location is great, surrounded by nature in the middle of beautiful Cotswolds. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.

2-Bedroom Swan Cottage, Canal View, Parking,Oxford

JimRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. Annie's Tea Rooms a 30 second walk away was friendly with a great lunch and breakfast menu and lovely food, and The Boat Inn a 2 minute walk away was friendly and good food. And all around canal walks, woodland walks, kayaking on the doorstep. All this, and just a 20 minute drive into Central Oxford, or 5 minute drive to Blenheim Palace. We stayed for 3 nights and teh house and facilities were very good. There is a train track nearby, but the walls of the cottage are so thick, and trains infrequent, that we didn't notice them. Always the best recomendation, we would definitely look to stay again.
