We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful annex! Very private and you can walk down the street to a local pub. Easy driving distance to the Farmer's Dog Pub and Diddly Squat Farm Shop if you are Clarkson's Farm fans. We would love to stay again!

Really great value for money; big and spacious enough for four, with 2 comfortable double beds, and Lynn even supplied us with breakfast things! The little courtyard was so lovely to sit outside.

I stayed at this air bnb for my wedding at a nearby venue. It was the best! I felt so relaxed, the host was very friendly and we had the best time! I would highly recommend staying here

Jo’s cottage was so cosy and had everything we needed as a group of 6. We all commented on how exceptionally comfy the beds were, and all took a peek at where the bedding was from so we could buy ourselves! The cottage is in a quiet area, so it’s lovely and peaceful. We would highly recommend a stay here ☺️

Beautiful cabin with incredible views. Footpath accessible from the back garden is perfect for a dog walk. Felt like we were out in the sticks but it was only a quick drive to many different towns and villages. Couldn’t ask for any better!

Had another great stay at the eco lodge. Ideally placed outside Wallingford in lovely countryside and convenient for the Ridgeway and associated places. The eco lodge is private with its own parking and despite the roasting weather the week we were there, it kept a comfortable temperature inside. lovely big bed, excellent space to relax and with it's own kitchen and bathroom and all the amenities you could want. Kunzi the owners friendly cat is on hand to meet and greet and the field adjacent the front of the lodge is alive with wildlife. It's a great place to relax or use as a base for exploration. Recommend Wallingford and Henley on Thames for exploration and the Ridgeway for great walking and scenic views.

Lovely place, great for a couple as a base. It is on country road between two villages so road do not have a footpath if you are planning to walk. The fields do have footpaths sign-posted so can get iff the road after a few minutes walk. The bed was lovely, thick and comfortable. Had everything you need to cook for yourself. I did set off the smoke alarm because I am not used to an electric oven 🤗 Shower was great. A bit tight to get in for the larger gent but water was always hot and very good pressure. I was there for work but enjoyed staying the and would stay again. So much more relaxing than a hotel room.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Viv’s place. Viv is so personable, responsive and generous and her place is SO peaceful and comfortable, the beds are excellent - we sleep well!!

The Shepherds Hut was amazing, so cozy, clean and comfortable. Trish has thought of everything. The table and benches turn in to the bed base, with space underneath to store your bags. The bed was really comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. The shower was great, towels provided. It's in a really quiet location and we had the added pleasure of seeing a glorious peacock on our arrival ! Trish is a really great host, lots of attention to detail such as: fresh free range eggs, cans of gin and tonic, chocolate biscuits, milk and a bottle of cold water in the fridge. Plus marshmallows for melting by a fire and a jar of sweets. Games to play, a folder with details of local pubs (all dog friendly), maps for local walks and booklets of places to visit. We recommend the Red Lion at Castle Eaton, a really friendly and welcoming pub, with very tasty food. We really enjoyed our weekend, so much to do and right in the heart of the Cotswolds. My stay at the Shooting Lodge was just what I needed for a peaceful, stress free getaway. Beautiful location, fantastic hosts and my pup Jessie loved her stay too. Would highly recommend for any of those career women out there who just need a weekend of peace and tranquility. The lodge was better than described, high quality and a home from home. The location is wonderful with lots of nice walks. I would definitely stay again alone or with friends. Thank you Anthony & Julia for a wonderful stay.

Cosy little cabin in the middle of nature, comes fully furnished with everything you need for a nice stay away. Amazing location would highly recommend! Beware of low ground clearance for cars as track is slightly uneven. ☺️

I can only echo everything everyone else is saying about this beautiful place. We were made to feel like Julie’s personal guests from her beaming welcome to the little touches in the cottage. We chose to do nothing but sit and read and simply enjoy the peace and the sunshine in a 5 star accommodation.

Perfectly situated for a peaceful weekend. Made friends with the chickens who came to visit. Glad we visited when we did because the sun shone both days at the end of May. Shower was beautifully hot and all facilities more than adequate. John Lewis towels. Walked to Horse and Groom in the village (10 mins) for a delicious meal; such a shame it is being modernised in next couple of years. Couldn't walk to Daylesford Organic as too far along winding roads with no footpaths so drove and what a delight that was. We bought food from the deli for our dinner and two breakfasts. Highly recommend this shepherds hut.

Overall it was an amazing stay. the cottage is small, but cozy and perfect for 2 people. it has some quirks, but that is what you would expect with a small and old cottage. There are no electrical outlets in the bathroom and the shower is small so as a 6'1 man, it was difficult but doable to use the shower. The grounds were peaceful and relaxing. Overall, the cottage was as expected and it was a great home base for access to Oxford and the Cotswolds!

Absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. The cottage was beautiful with stunning surroundings. Very comfortable and excellent amenities e.g EV charger, child's cot and high chair. Super hosts and very responsive and helpful. We travelled with a baby and 4 adults and this cottage was perfect. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back! Thankyou.

Claire was absolutely amazing, she really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived, the apartment was incredibly welcoming, there was a book offering helpful tips about the local area. Claire made sure we had everything we needed. For the price, we received incredible value. The accommodation itself was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had a wonderful, calming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, and there were thoughtful touches throughout the property that made it feel like a home away from home. Claire's hospitality truly made our trip special, and we would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We hope to return ourselves in the future!

My wife, my mother and I stayed at the Dutch Barn in Wicken, Monday to Friday. The property is wonderful, presented to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. There were lovely views from the upstairs of the property across the surrounding fields. It was ideally located close to a number of National Trust properties we wished to visit. Sophie and Andrew were very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend a stay and would not hesitate to book The Dutch Barn again in the future.

We stayed at the cottage while visiting our new grandson in nearby Woodford Halse. Communications from Victoria were excellent, as were directions. Upon our arrival Victoria came out to greet us and (vitally important) to ask us what we wanted for breakfast! The cottage turned out to be an absolute delight, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Our last Airbnb experience in May 2024 was dreadful and it was a relief to have our faith restored. Although the cottage was small, it was perfect for our needs. The bedroom upstairs was cosy and the bed was very comfortable. The downstairs bathroom was nicely appointed and there was plenty of hot water for showers. Although the cottage doesn't have a kitchen as such, Victoria provided a microwave and toaster, plus bread, cereals, tea, milk, coffee etc. Nothing had been overlooked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend both the cottage and our host Victoria unreservedly! Thank you very much Victoria! Andrew & Jayne.

A fantastic spot! Really peaceful, clean and secure. Waking up to that view is a dream. Super comfortable accomodation, and loved the juice/ spreads, cereals/milks and coffee being provided. They were also very flexible with my check in time. Just small thing worth noting is the beds are (while very comfortable) - small. They’re singles, and quite short. I am 178cm tall, and my feet were off the end. So if you’re super tall, might be worth noting. Small thing though, as had an overall very comfortable stay! Would stay again.
