We are renting out a cabin by Hoensvannet – a peaceful gem just 20 minutes from Hokksund city center and less than 1.5 hours from Oslo. Here you live right at the water's edge, surrounded by the forest and with parking at the door. The cabin is perfect for families, couples or friends who want to relax in scenic surroundings with good opportunities for fishing, swimming and outdoor activities.

Idyllic farm apartment along Eikeren

Welcome to Gunhildrud farm, a peaceful and spacious courtyard apartment along Eikeren. The apartment is in a new barn from 2022. Free parking in the courtyard with space for several cars. NOTE: We currently have a slightly different road connection after the road collapsed last fall. There is a detour via Eidsfoss, instead of the usual route from Darbu and Vestfossen. That means about a 50-minute drive to Kongsberg and just under an hour to Drammen. On the other hand, the distance is shorter in the direction of Vestfold.

Cozy little cottage at Vegotjern

Perfect for those who want to travel with the family, a group of friends, a girlfriend or just alone. Idyllic small cabin located only 2 meters from the waterfront. Here there are both fishing and bathing opportunities. Rowboat on site. The cabin has a simple standard with outhouse, 12V solar system. Drinking water can be obtained in the parking lot. Propane and wood are included in the price. Gravel road is used to get to the parking lot. Here the toll is NOK 70. It is about a 150-meter walk from the parking lot to the cabin.

House in historic Eidsfoss

Our house is located with a lovely view over Lake Eikern and with a short distance to Bergsvannet which has many nice swimming areas. Eidsfoss is a unique historical place where it feels like time has stood still for a few decades! Here you will find, among other things, Norway's oldest general store, museum and two good restaurants (Eidsfoss Gamle Kro and Eidsfos Hovedgård), as well as several small galleries and outlets. But most of all, you should come here to find peace and quiet and enjoy the beautiful nature here!

Welcome to our charming cottage in scenic Eidsfoss! Here you get stunning views of Eikernvannet and a real sense of peace and coziness. The cabin has a distinctive character and a cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for both family holidays and weekends with friends. Relax on the large terrace, which offers barbecue facilities, jacuzzi and views. Or take a refreshing dip in the lake just below. Eidsfoss is a place worth seeing! Here you can get silence, laughter around the table or evenings in the bubbles. Welcome☺️

Modern rural semi-detached house

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful residence. Modern semi-detached house built in 2018 with high standard, nice sheltered garden, several terraces and sunny location. There are great outdoor areas for walking, fishing, skiing, paddling, swimming and cycling right nearby. Rural location with 500 meters to bus stop and about 5 km to train. Free parking with charging option for electric car for a fee. When I'm not renting out the place, I live there. Some rooms and cabinets will therefore not be available.

"I can live anywhere - as long as I see Eikern" is what we usually say at Eidsfoss. In our charming Casa Kaos, the morning bath in Eikern is 5 minutes away, and while you drink coffee on the stairs in the morning sun, the kids can jump on the trampoline or run after the ducks. On our small, family-friendly mini farm, there are plenty of opportunities to play, jump, swing, bike, canoe or hide away in a tree house or in the woods. The ducks are free-range and tame, and the goats are social and friendly. Welcome!

Beautiful small farm in a beautiful rural setting. A main house and charming courtyard. The place is from 1845, restored. Garden, balcony and barbecue area. Nice hiking areas, close to Drammenselva river with fishing opportunities. Small, nice lakes (Hoensvannet and others) with the possibility of SUP, swimming and fishing. Beautiful view. 7 min drive to the nearest grocery store and train station (Hokksund). If you want a quiet stay in a rural, quiet small farm with a lovely view, this can be recommended

Hytta vår ved Eikern tilbyr en uforglemmelig opplevelse med spektakulær utsikt og usjenert beliggenhet. Hytta består av et sjarmerende rom med spisebord, kjøkken og soveplass til 2 gjester. Blant de unike fasilitetene finner du bryggeområdet, utedo, utendørs veranda, og spisegruppe. Hytta har en unik utsikt over innsjøen, noe som skaper en helt spesiell atmosfære. Det går en koselig trapp ned til bryggen som ligger rett ved vannet. Her kan man virkelig slappe av og finne roen i hverdagen.

House by lake, one hour from Oslo

Aprox 60 minutes from Oslo, 80 from Larvik. House by large lake. Beach, four acre plot. Stunning view. Electricity, running water. Well water, can be used for cooking, recommend buying drinking water. No pets allowed. Located between Vestfossen and Eidsfoss. 10 minute drive to train station and shops. You will need a car. Parking space, 4 bedrooms. NB: No washing machine for clothes. Located at county road 35, some traffic noise must be expected. Two double beds, one in the annex.

Chillax

You will stay on the first floor of a villa- your separate apartment with one bedroom, one living room with a sofa bed, a big room after the entrance -where you have another sofa bed. Access to the garden and can barbecue. A peaceful and quiet area. 5 minutes walk to a lake where you can swim in the summer, with volleyball, football, tennis and a walk in the forest to plukk blue berries. Skiing and sliding in the winter. 15 mins drive to Aronsløkka ski slopes for downhill skiing. Welcome
