The location was good and the place was clean. The host was helpful and responsive whenever needed.

I recommend it, ideal for those traveling with a dog. A large fenced yard that the dog enjoyed. 😊

There were four of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Ilkka welcomed us personally. The house is located close to the road and is easily accessible by car even in winter. The sauna is great, the beds comfortable and the sofa new. Spices and coffee were provided. Ilkka organized cross-country skis and snowshoes for us at a good price and marked a trail for us that started behind the house. We also saw the Northern Lights twice. Everything was super straightforward. Thank you very much.

Amazing house in a beautiful location. We had a very nice stay here. The house is very cozy, sauna is great and the pool was awesome. The hosts are very friendly and communication was smooth. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Absolutely the best value! Suitable for a short visit, as well as a base for a longer trip. The apartment was clean and cozy, clearly recently completely renovated. Definitely continue, whenever there is a need for accommodation in the area!

We had a very pleasant stay. We really enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi, and the location was conveniently close to the city center. The host was very friendly and responded quickly. We can definitely recommend this place if you're planning to stay in Oulu.

Large, nice and clean house, easy to find and good location. Quiet surroundings, although the neighbors are very close. Great instructions, Sara had thought of everything. Had adults, teenagers and toddlers, all very satisfied.

We stayed here for the second time, so I knew the place. Lovely atmosphere still and it was especially nice to come to a familiar place. Tuira offered her best and we rode our bikes smoothly around the bucket of Oulu!

We had a wonderful stay! Sirkku and Seppo were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The house itself was amazingly comfortable, beautiful view, big living area, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Marita was super nice and made me feel at home. Just what I needed after a long day biking. Had some bike issues the next morning and she was so helpful as I worked to resolve them.

Comfortable little cottage. Very suitable for 2 people and a dog. If you want peace and independence, I recommend. The outdoor sauna was good. The hot water system only worked moderately, so there was no “hot” water.

My funniest and most casual Airbnb stay so far! This is not a polished and polished place to stay, but a shabby and relaxed one. Comfortable in its authenticity. The house is even equipped with two saunas. I tried the electric sauna inside, and it gave really hot steam. The sound system was excellent, and I was able to play in peace at a volume that did not disturb the neighbors. I don't think it's audible to the neighbors at all. There was even a karaoke machine, but I didn't have time to try it. There would have been all kinds of two- and four-wheeled motorized speedboats and a boat. Only the plane was missing. I borrowed a bike, and it was convenient to move around until I got it out of order. Nevertheless, the host was not nervous, but stated that the bike was old, as it was. This is an excellent place to stay for a vacationer in this area, which can accommodate several people!

Thanks to the host family for the time in their beautiful house. It is really very big and offers plenty of space. We used the sauna inside and out every day. The communication with the host family was perfect at all times. We all felt very comfortable here and thank you also for the beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

Everything went as expected :) The stay was super well-equipped and there was plenty of room for 9 people for one night. I can recommend!

This was my second time staying at Sonja’s place. After my first visit in January I couldn’t wait to come back. Since this trip was in May I had the pleasure of experiencing this beautiful spot in two very different seasons. It is a beautiful magical place and I will be back again! Sonja is so kind and helpful.

We had a great time at Villa Jäkälä. The house has a very nice design and the surroundings are quiet and beautiful. The host was very helpful and friendly.

Mikko`s place was amazing, much more than we expected. I fell in love with the pictures and private location (based on maps analysis) but it was much better than described and the photos, will return!! This was by far the most stocked-up place we have stayed at (linens, kitchen appliances, cuttlery and kitchenware, toiletries, firewood for fireplace etc). All equipment is fairly new and in very good state. You have a panoramic view of the bay, perfect to stay indoors enjoying winter wonderland views and/or working remotely. High-speed internet and smart TV enhanced our evenings by the fireplace. We have also took advantage of the built-in sauna (as part of the house, accessible through the glass patio). Mikko is very kind and friendly, gave lots of suggestions and was forward thinking. He was very welcoming and his cottage made us feel right at home. Easy to communicate, even if sometimes some Google Translate is needed - good luck with learning English, Mikko, you are doing great!
