Washing water is taken from the outside wall tap. The atmospheric light of the Marjaniemi lighthouse can be seen just over 2.5 km away. Hiking trails can be found nearby.

From Oulu, there are several bus options to Haukipudas. From the bus stop about 800m to the destination. There is a stream behind the cabin. The river bank is about 300m away. Please note that from August 2026, check-in is at 6 p.m. and check-out is at 3 p.m. There is plenty of parking space at the property. Car heating for an additional charge of 5€/day.

Great place for couples or families with children. Guest is expected to bring bedsheets, towels and toilet paper and to do proper final cleaning.
