We stayed overnight at Ayumi’s for an early morning flight out of Haneda. The location is great for an early departure or even a late arrival to give yourself some breathing room. We had a little difficulty getting into the building as due to a mix up of codes but Ayumi was quick to respond to our phone call and we were able to get in quickly. It’s a spacious place with a high class shower and classy interior. The description does state that there’s a tv but that’s only in the bath but the bedroom light is also a projector which casts to the doors when closed. Overall a great stop just before a day’s worth of traveling.

We had a wonderful stay! Our host was exceptionally kind, hospitable, and friendly. He was very responsive to my many questions before our trip and gave helpful recommendations, which meant a lot since it was my first time in Japan. He was also very considerate of our requests during our stay. We truly appreciated the extra help, including assisting with our luggage and chatting with us before we left. We were so lucky to have him as our host—highly recommended! Will definitely suggest this place to my friends and family planning to visit Tokyo.

I had a wonderful time at this stay. It’s in a quiet neighborhood right in front of a school. It’s not too far from the subway. Please be aware that there is no elevator and the stay is on the 4th floor. I definitely recommend this stay. Very secure and neat.

Our host was more than prompt in replying. Did always help in whatever we asked for and also left toothbrush for us while we were staying. Great gesture!! ;) The place had everything you could possibly need and all the facilities were there, even though all the flats in the city were small. The kitchen had a lot of utensils including a microwave, stove, fridge, freezer, etc. Definitely recommending it!! :)

It is located in a secluded and convenient location for transportation in Tokyo, making it easy to get around by subway.Tetsuya can't be more friendly. It was a precious time to get to know each other for the second time. We shared food and gifts with each other. I decided to visit Tetsuya House again in a year. Thank you for your hard work, Tetsuya. I highly recommend it if you want to get to know a quiet and spacious house and a host while still having access to anywhere you want to go by subway from the big city. See you again. Tetsuya-san
