Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Ostia

Paolo is a great host! Our party arrived at different times and he made sure we all got in to the apartment without issues. The apartment itself is exactly as described and in a great location, within a 5 to 10 minute walk to Trastevere, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Campo Fiori, and many other sites, and within a 20 minute walk to the Vatican, Spanish Steps, and Colosseum area. Being so centrally located we were able to walk practicality everywhere we wanted to go. Great location and great host.

Very comfortable stay, booked 4 nights and definitely enjoyed the stay. Simple apartment with a nice public terrace (nobody really used it when we did, so felt like we had it all to ourselves). Right next to a gym for those who needs to workout on vacation. Andrea was extremely helpful and a great host. Location of the apartment is just few mins walk to the Colleseum & 15-20 mins bus ride away to city centre.

The hosts are very welcoming, and gave good tips on local restaurants. The apartment is on a quiet street, beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed our stay there!

We stayed at Peter’s place for 5 days. Communication was great. We needed extra shampoos, and it was delivered the next day. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to all the places, buses are also around the corner. Kitchen has everything we needed, it was very nice to be able to make coffee in the morning. Highly recommended. If we come to Rome again, we’ll stay here. Thanks Peter!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment in Rome — the location is truly unbeatable, with stunning views overlooking the Colosseum! Waking up to that sight every morning was such a treat. Elena and Barbara were fantastic hosts — super friendly, responsive, and helpful. They shared some excellent local recommendations that really added to our experience and helped us discover a few hidden gems we might have missed otherwise. Even though we didn’t need anything during our stay, it was so reassuring to know they were just a message away. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and a perfect home base for exploring the city. One of our favorite moments was sitting on the balcony at night, sipping a glass of wine and listening to the wonderful music drifting up from the street below — absolutely magical. Serena was wonderful! I can’t recommend her place enough! It was in a great location and was a beautiful apartment. Extremely clean! We love to go to the grocery stores while traveling a cooking a few times at home, so we really appreciated the cooking utensils and kitchen supplies, especially coffee! Serena was a great host and had many recommendations and made us feel like we were staying at a friend’s place not a strangers. We would love to come back ❤️

Valéria a été une superbe hôte, toujours disponible en cas de besoin. Elle nous a donner toutes les informations nécessaires pour bous déplacer et visiter la ville et ses environs. Le logement avec sa grande terrasse et ses plantes est vraiment agréable le matin pour un petit déjeuner et le soir pour le dîner. Nous avons passé un super séjour et découvert des beaux endroits grâce aux conseils de Valéria. De plus,elle a été très compréhensible par rapport à notre arrivée tardive dû au retard de l'avion. Elle nous a accueilli à l'entrée de l'immeuble et a pris le temps de nous montrer tout le nécessaire dans l'appartement. Merci encore à elle.

Daniela è stata molto disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta. Io, mia moglie e 2 nostri amici abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni, ci siamo sentiti sin da subito come a casa, Daniela ci ha accolto di persona soddisfando in pieno le nostre aspettative. In zona ci sono ristoranti familiari e un supermercato. Per i trasferimenti noi abbiamo utilizzato il bus e la metro senza nessun problema. In cortile è disponibile il posto auto dedicato. Consigliato.

Sonia and Luca were such thoughtful and welcoming hosts—they truly went the extra mile to make us feel at home. From the moment we arrived, they took the time to walk us through the apartment, share helpful tips about the neighborhood, and made sure we had all the information we needed for a smooth and easy stay. The apartment itself was a gem—modern, beautifully set up, and incredibly child-friendly. It had everything we could have hoped for, especially for our little toddler who absolutely loved it! There were toys, space to play, and such a calm, peaceful atmosphere—perfect for families looking to unwind away from the city’s usual bustle. Everything felt so well thought-out and fully equipped. It made our time in Rome even more special. Thank you, Sonia and Luca, for your warmth and care—it meant so much to us!

Très bel appartement bien équipé, propre et spacieux, avec climatisation, machine à café et machine à laver qui nous ont été utile. La localisation permet d'atteindre le centre de Rome en une trentaine de minutes. Comptez un peu moins d'une heure pour le Vatican ou quartiers de l'autre côté de la ville. Parfait pour notre séjour :)

Sabrina is a great host . very fast in response to our need . the place was very clean and cute . although the place is not close the tourist attractions arena. but it's not difficult to take bus 46 or 49 916. very convenient take us around 34 to 45 mins . the shop around the place . people are very friendly even not everyone speaks English. love the place and Sabrina . will recommend

Die Wohnung war in einer sehr schönen Umgebung mit vielen kleinen netten Restaurants und Bars. Fußläufig. zur spanischen Treppe war es circa 1 km, was aber schnell gelaufen ist. Die Unterkunft war perfekt für zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind. Thai Massage, Pediküre, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants, alles direkt um die Ecke. Einfach perfekt für einen Kurztripp nach Rom.

Nice accommodation for anyone wishing to visit the likes of Tivoli and Villa Adriana by car. The place is clean and well equipped for cooking. It also doesn't get too hot which is a huge plus. Susanna was very friendly and helpful during our stay.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene, appartamento molto accogliente e ben arredato. C’è stato sempre un supporto immediato per ogni richiesta che abbiamo fatto. Ritornerò sicuramente da Fabrizio e lo consiglio davvero.

An unforgettable stay in a cozy , beautiful home I had the pleasure of staying at this absolutely charming Airbnb, and it truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I felt right at home. The place is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor space. Whether sipping coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening, the patio area offered a peaceful retreat with beautiful views. It's clear that the host has put a lot of thought into every detail, from the decor to the amenities, making this a perfect getaway spot.

I cannot recommend this Iris and her airbnb enough! The place was beautiful, clean, and had everything you could possibly think of. This was our favorite place to stay out of the few airbnbs we did on the trip and if I could do it all over again I would choose Iris' airbnb for the entire trip. She was also super responsive, helpful, and gave clear instructions with the self check in. Great host! Great place!

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were kind and responsive. We asked them about dropping off our bags prior to check-in, and they actually had the house ready early and allowed us to check in a few hours early. The house was clean and had exceptional amenities, even coffee and tea, shower soaps, and umbrellas to borrow. The house was comfortable, and the air-conditioning was a wonderful relief from the summer heat. Unfortunately, the metro line running to the Gardenie stop was down for much of our stay due to work on the metro. However, there were several other public transportation options to reach the center of Rome. The area was quiet and much less busy than the center of the city. Overall, we had an incredible stay and would recommend this Airbnb!

Tack Gabriele. Vi hade en toppen vistelse. Smidigt att checka-in med nyckelskåp. Allt såg ut precis som på bilderna och terassen var vår favoritplats. Den är rymlig och perfekt både för måltider i skuggan utomhus och för att bara sitta ner en stund. Gabriele har lagt mycket tanke och omsorg om detaljer som ger det lilla extra. Tex fanns det kallt vatten i kylskåpet vid vår inkomst. Köket hade allt man behöver. Vi kunde lämna kvar våra väskor efter utcheckning utan problem vilket förenklade vår dag. Vi blev vänligt bemötta av både Gabriele och hans mamma. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka nästa gång vi är i Rom
