Kid-friendly vacation rentals in New Orleans

Miranda was an ideal host. Very responsive and helpful. Her place was beautiful, every little detail was perfect from her decor to her recommendations sheets, to the some of the cool books she had. Nice neighborhood and close to plenty of good restaurants and bars. As someone who has been New Orleans a ton of times I would highly recommend her place and will be for sure coming back.

Well appointed and comfortable home with nice bed, good water pressure, great AC and friendly, helpful host, living right on the premises. Walkable to great restaurants and bars on Magazine street. About a $15 uber to French Quarter and Marigny.

I found this property to have a simple elegance in it's layout. I appreciated Mandie's attention to details and her responsiveness to queries. I really appreciated the reserved parking immediately adjacent to the property.

I really enjoyed the place. It felt safe, it was bright, fun, and felt private even as a duplex. My one knock on the location is that without a car the ubers started to add up as they were roughly 10-15 min from everything. Individually not bad at all, just after 5 days it became pricey. However, I still preferred the location we stayed in for the fact that it was distanced enough from all partying and bars so when we had our fill we were able to separate ourselves. Overall, I would recommend this place to others coming to NOLA. I had a great time and between the hosts and the place itself it checked all boxes.

Hunter's place is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Some previous guests complained about the train noise, but this was minimal during our stay and not an issue. Bus is 1.5 blocks away and the bus pass is cheap and easy. Can save the uber for late nights. Plus there are plenty of great eateries w/o heading to the Quarter. We loved it. Might need a new battery in the fan remote and a table lamp in the LR. Also, would be nice to see the floor plan in the listing. It wouldn't work for everyone. You have to walk through both BRs to get to the bathroom. Was not a problem for us. Very clean. Smelled great. Nice backyard space. Comfy furnishings all around. Would definitely stay again. Ben’s place is great! Clean, stocked kitchen, plenty of dish ware, a water filter pitcher, nice bathroom (& hairdryer 😁) and lots of towels. I did end up needing the iron and ironing board, using the lighter quilt vs. the comforter (awesome for the summertime) and the best part… a noise machine for both bedrooms! I hope his place is available next time we come to town!

Would’ve rather spent more time at the house , than strolling the street of bourbon; felt so at home and plenty of amenities. Definitely highly recommend for anyone trying to feel that new orleans vibe , stay cozy , and overall just a friendly place! & fits anyone with a cheaper budget, will be back for sure in the future!!

Spencer’s place is absolutely beautiful! The beds are incredibly comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. The master bathroom is absolutely stunning. The kitchen is large and well stocked and the living room was very comfortable. We felt very comfortable and safe at Spencer‘s place. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood and close to some great restaurants and a very short trolley ride to the garden district. Love the location of this place. We had a little trouble with the automatic lock to the Airbnb one night, but that was fixed permanently promptly and the rest of our trip went very smoothly. Spencer is a great host. He is very friendly and responsive and genuinely cares that his guests have a good experience. I would absolutely stay there again.

Little apartment was perfect for my visit with my Tulane student. Close to everything and lovely neighborhood. Only set back was the ongoing construction in the neighborhood which led to some noise and road closures. Parking would have been an issue but I was usually walking to where I needed to go so not a major set back. Appreciated the extra touches like the water and ample coffee and tea supplies! Would recommend for up to two people looking to visit local sites.

The apartment was a perfect location for our planned activities in New Orleans. Jesse (& family) were welcoming and caring. The space was perfectly appointed and had every amenity one would need. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!

Nice apartment, extremely well located, walking distance from the street car and many grocery stores. Brian is a top host, very proactive and easy to communicate with (he responds to messages within a few minutes). We would definitely stay there again! This space was exactly what we were looking for on our trip to New Orleans! Quiet, peaceful and beautiful-just outside of the hustle and bustle of bourbon street and the French quarter but not so far that these places were not accessible with a quick uber/Lyft or street car ride away! Layla was extremely responsive and accommodating when we encountered some unexpected itinerary/travel issues easing a bit of the stress at the time. I would absolutely recommend this bnb to anyone looking for a truly comfortable, nice and peaceful place to stay in such a busy place such as New Orleans! We will definitely be returning again.

Awesome neighborhood with lots of great food/drink options. Extremely walkable to all popular locations. Loved the high ceilings inside as well as the sliding doors to separate the sleeping area. Very attentive host.

Michelle’s place was as advertised with lots of room, clean, relatively quiet for its location and a great Mediterranean restaurant right next door as an extra bonus. Would recommend to anyone looking for a close location to the French Quarter but far enough away from the crowds.

We really enjoyed our stay at Brad’s place. The location was great. Just a couple of blocks from the French Quarter and a lot less hectic. Right on the street car line which was handy. The place is very comfortable and had everything we needed. A great place to relax and feel at home at the end of a long day.

Stayed at this property for a 4 person bachelorette party. Plenty of space, clean and bright. Comfortable beds. The pool was great for a relaxing day. Walkable restaurants and bars within 10-15 mins. The French Quarter is a 10-15 minute bus or Uber ride in. Highly recommend this location if you want access to the Quarter without the noise.

A perfectly appointed, spotless, HUGE apartment located steps away from the French Quarter. Safe and secure. Street noise at night so if you need perfectly quiet to sleep, that could be an issue but with earplugs, it was okay for us! Would stay and reccomend to anyone.

I enjoyed everything about my stay here the place was as described nice and clean. The host offered extra linens and covers I just loved everything about the place! They offer a pool & gym on site we didn’t have to drive far for anything & it was a quiet neighborhood

My sisters and I throughly enjoyed ourselves this weekend; the condo was beautiful and just as described. Bailey was helpful and very friendly. We felt incredibly safe and will stay here again when we return. We have told all our friends about how wonderful our stay was. Thank you!

Nice and new condo. The surrounding area is a mixed bag depending which direction you walk in. Not much to walk to immediately nearby. My only concern was never hearing back from the host. I sent one message asking about a late check out prior to check in and it was radio silence. I saw it wasn’t booked after our stay so figured it couldn’t hurt to ask since we had late flights. Even if the answer is no I would have appreciated a response saying that. Other than that we loved the condo itself. It was a great deal especially during jazz fest.
