Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Omaha

this is a cozy place to stay not so much if you have kids due to shared room space but overall great place room and a half upstairs so if you do have visitors come to see you your sleeping area is away from them just walking in

Lovely house with everything you can think of, but may have forgot to pack! Beautiful home with a not to be beat location whether you are in town to go to the zoo, need to access the Air Force Base or just want a peaceful spot to stay. Will definitely recommend the house to friends needing a spot to stay in Omaha vicinity.

Amazing home with so much charm and comfort and the welcome basket was a wonderful surprise! The back patio is one of the best patios we’ve ever experienced. Peter and Mark have created a zen like garden and are so generous to share it. Loved the puppies too. The decor in the home is a nod to the past in all of the best ways. I’m obsessed with the furniture.

I loved staying here while I was in Omaha! It’s extremely cozy, very peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed, and was close to many attractions like the Zoo. Maurie was extremely communicative and was readily available if I needed help at all. It was the perfect place to come back to relax after a fun day out, I will definitely be coming back next time I visit!

This house is small but perfect for a small family. We had our own space, a big kitchen to cook in, a living room to relax in and our own bedrooms to chill in! The house smells clean every time you walk in and you can SEE and feel the clean. The house has so many extra amenities. A/C, bathroom supplies, coffee maker with coffee! How lucky was that?! Lisa deserves all 5 stars for this house. The driveway is on an incline and is across the road from a pretty big church. The area is beautiful with a green backyard. Grocery store within a couple miles from house. Would definitely stay again.

The H.Doorly House is a beautiful historic home right next to the nation's best zoo! Everything about the place is fantastic. It's spotless and totally relaxing. You won't be disappointed. The kitchen is stocked with lots of great cookware and plenty of dishes for serving. They provide snacks, coffee, and cold water to make the stay even better. The back deck is private and a great place to enjoy fresh air.

Great stay! Would definitely return. The host gave helpful directions—it’s definitely easier to find when approaching from the east. Be prepared for a very steep hill and a rough driveway, which is understandable given the hilltop location. There’s a dip in the drive that the hosts have clearly made an effort to improve. Also, if you’re sleeping in the living room and are sensitive to light, I’d recommend bringing an eye mask, as the morning sun comes in bright. Overall, a peaceful spot and would recommend to anyone!

William was an amazing Host! Extremely responsive and accommodating! Would recommend this place 10/10x. Place was extremely neat, met all of our needs plus more. Thank you William for making this trip a memorable experience for us.

We had a great stay at Mariah's place and would gladly stay here again. The apartment was spacious, clean and welcoming! It was well stocked and left nothing missing! You can tell someone took great care in furnishing it and making it that you feel right at home. As we arrived late after an international flight, it was possible for us to do a self-check in which really helped. The only thing we thought was a bit impersonal (you can tell it's probably run by a company) was the communication. Although we had booked and communicated that we were gonna arrive with little children they forgot to make the sofa bed which was a bit stressful in the middle of the night with three small jet-lagged children. We ended up finding the stuff because the apartment was well organized so in the end it was not too big of a problem jusr a bit stressful. We would have thought that they would at least apologize which they didnt which is why we would say the communication should be a bit better/personal.

This place was exactly as described. Perfect location in the old market, beautiful open loft with separate cozy bathroom, view of old market was fantastic with stunning windows. Rooftop patio was adorable. Fantastic restaurants and coffee shops are at your doorstep. The Old Market is one of my favorite places in Nebraska and this was a great way to experience it.

Andrew was a great host! Always so responsive and helpful. The place is short walk from the old market. Well furnished and the tv set up is great! I’d go back in a heart beat! Thanks for everything Andrew!

We had a wonderful stay! This was the perfect location for us to walk to a wedding nearby. There were many great restaurants that were walkable. We enjoyed Zen Coffee Company and the Spielbound Board Game Cafe. Fwamay communicated with us about check in and everything was great!

I felt very safe and secure at this location. Lots of construction in the area but nothing that could bother you. Just upgrading these horrible roads in Omaha. It was a comfy home like spot. I loved having the balcony. The bed was super comfy. The place was cool and I plan to stay there again! Jamar was super cool and responsive. Thank you!

Great location, we walked pretty much everywhere around old market. Place was nice and as described. Would recommend. I made a mistake getting into the condo for the first time and Mason was very responsive and got us right in.

The hosts were incredibly responsive and flexible, which made our stay seamless. The room was just right for the three of us during our short visit—comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. I appreciated the added security of the fob entry system to access the floor, which helped ease any concerns about the building, which did feel a bit unusual at first. That said, I felt completely safe inside the room itself. The nearby roads can be a bit noisy, but that’s beyond the hosts’ control and didn’t detract from our overall experience. All in all, a great stay!
