03- Abi's Arboreal Abode & Hammock Haven Tree-Yurt

KarenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We brought our 2 young grandsons to stay in the Abi treehouse yurt to "unplug" from all electronics, internet and cell phones for the weekend. Boys are ages 10 & 6 and absolutely loved staying in the treehouse yurt, playing yard games such as football, disc golf, cornhole, hillbilly golf, playing on the swings and walking on the trails and creek bed! They actually thought the "outhouse" was pretty cool too! The shower house offered hot showers and clean commodes. Their community kitchen for the guests to use has much to offer! Their 100 acre farm in the holler is a beautiful place to "unplug" from the world and relax by the creek. Knowing they have a landline to use for emergency purposes is great since there is NO cell phone signal in the holler. Nathan and Jessa are GREAT hosts who make sure their guests have everything they need for their stay.. Their dogs are friendly and loved walking the trails with us! Great place to stay and we will return in the future for sure!
The unique treehouse is elevated on stilts, featuring a wooden exterior and a green metal roof. A spacious deck is visible, furnished with seating and an umbrella. Surrounding trees create a natural backdrop, while stone paths lead to a cozy fire pit and wooden swings on the lower level.

Treehouse Unique, Getaway for two or small family

The treehouse is an adorable home with a cozy feel. The stairs were a little tricky, but if my 78 yo old mom could do, it is definitely doable. I would definitely rent again. The owners were very helpful and answered all the questions I had.

This place was perfect for a leadership retreat. It offered great accommodations in a peaceful setting. This was our second time to stay here and we were not disappointed. FYI…we drove 12 minutes to Chestnut Oaks Farm Table & Restaurant for a great meal one night.

It is a very nice place to go when you want to relax and get away. Only thing to keep in mind is you are not too far away from their other two airbnbs so if you want more privacy you may want to keep that in mind. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

Cliffline Twilight*WOW*Hot tub! Pet Friendly!

CandiceRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My husband and I stayed here for our 15th wedding anniversary getaway and could not be happier. It was the perfect cabin for connecting without distractions. The cabin was easy to find and easy to get inside. The Cliffside twilight cabin had a private hot tub and fire pit in the backyard that we enjoyed the entire time. We had great cell service at the cabin which made researching the area easy. There are so many great hikes with beautiful scenery with a 20 min drive and we highly recommend kayaking Gorge Underground but book early! We will definitely be back!

Memorial Day weekend. Great place to stay if you want to get away and read a book. Quiet. Serene, calm. Dawn was a great host. She thought of everything. A mini “CVS” in the treehouse in case you forgot something. Lots of awesome nature sounds. Overlooks huge swath of land where horses and cows graze. I loved it!!

Modern Luxe A-Frame: Sauna, Hot Tub & Fire Pit

GracieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I haven’t stopped dreaming about this place since we left—and I can’t wait to come back. As stunning as the photos are (and they’re definitely a 10/10), the experience in person is even better. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, from the cozy robes that made it feel like a luxury hotel to the skylight above the bed that framed the trees beautifully lit at night. The sauna, hot tub, and fully equipped kitchen made it incredibly hard to leave. It truly felt like our own little oasis, tucked away in the mountains—an absolutely perfect escape.

Trails + Porch + Near River | Woodland Cottage

DannyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I stayed here for 6 nights and absolutely loved it. A really cute place that was easy to settle into and feel at home in. This Airbnb is filled with life...art, books...and just felt cozy. The bed was great and I especially liked the living room...something about the wall color and the muted tones in that room brought the outside in and just felt like a mountain retreat. Overall this place felt kind of like visiting an old family home where there have been kids and family and memories...it is a pretty special place. Rebecca was a fantastic host and gave me some excellent recommendations upon my asking.

Acorn Acre Tiny Cabin - A Couples Relaxing Retreat

RobRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fun weekend of hiking and brewery hopping and enjoyed coming back to the cabin each night! This is a small, rustic cabin, in a secluded and private location. The cabin has all of the amenities you could want, including a cook top for making breakfast and a washer/dryer for refreshing those gross hiking clothes. The only improvement that would be a game changer would be a bit more attention paid to the grounds and the walkway down to the fire pit. At night it's pretty much impossible to see without using a lantern, which we unfortunately didn't bring, and the pathway itself could use some weed-eating and maintenance. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would return!

Treehouse of Center Hill Lake

RyanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Excellent host, friendly and ready to be helpful. Place was clean, quiet, and fit a rather large family. The view was lovely but it did rain a lot and unfortunately no star gazing (not their fault). The beautiful forest does obstruct the view of the lake alot but it is insanely quiet and peaceful. the deck balcony and hot tub is a great spot to hang out. It is a tough hike down to the lake with no real spot to really sit and enjoy the lake when you get to the bottom. A much needed and relaxing trip to take with the family. One weird critique though, we aren't a tall family and it just seemed like everything we were trying to reach was super high up. Ladder is provided which is nice but feels weird to use to plug in electronics for the kids like chrome cast and Nintendo switches. Also as a soft sleeper myself half the beds are pretty firm except the downstairs bed which is super soft and comfortable pick that one lol. overall worth the money and a great trip with the family
