Beachfront vacation rentals in Ohio River

Doug was an amazing host, he responded immediately. The home was beautiful and exactly as Doug described it. The area is out of the way and peaceful yet close enough to town to get anything needed. The home was clean and Doug had thought of anything that might be necessary and then some. I can’t wait to return in the future with my wife to enjoy another relaxing weekend away.

Great little spot for a private and fun stay. The waterfall and trails are a must to go adventure to. We had a great time.

Great cabin as described. Fire pit with fresh supply of wood was appreciated. Easy access and if we had forgotten anything Jean and it available.

Perfect weekend stay. Spent most of our time on the upper deck viewing the lake. Lots of things to see, the owners have very thoughtfully supplied binoculars for this activity. Lots of bird and squirrel activity kept us busy and entertained. The home is wonderful and has all the amenities needed throughout. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Perfect location for visiting the various things to do in the area. Overall the location provides an awesome “on the lake” experience. Couldn’t ask for any better.

Gardiner’s farm house was perfect! Everything was exactly as described in the listing. We love the outdoors and this place was exactly what we were looking for, a quiet, peaceful retreat with some good outdoor activities. The kids loved the entire farm, especially fishing in the pond. Beautiful place and excellent host!

Cyndy was so sweet and accommodating! Responded so quickly and helped the best way she could if we needed anything. Place was clean and spacious. The area is so pretty and relaxing. Would visit here again for sure! Great stay!

Wonderful camper with great amenities. The air conditioner kept up and kept us cool during a week of extreme heat. Bunk beds are spacious and Master bed very comfortable. He showed us how to use the camper before he left and made sure we were all set before leaving. We plan on using it again hopefully sooner than later!

Nada was great to work with. Anytime we had a question, she had the answer and responded professionally and promptly. The unit had a great view of the lake and easy access being on the first floor. Will look forward to booking this unit at the Culver Cove in the future.

This place was amazing for our family vacation. The goal was to spend family time together & there was plenty for us all to do. Lots of outdoor activities in nature! The beach was great for adult hang-out & games of spike ball (which we brought), & fun in the sand for the kids. Loved our pontoon boat rides & campfires as well. The indoor pool was great anytime day & night & was always a good back up in case it we had rain. The common areas were large enough for us to all have space & there was plenty of sleeping room. We had an amazing time & will definitely revisit. Ryan was courteous & quick to respond. Absolutely loved this trip!

This condo exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and had everything we needed plus more. You can’t beat the location and view. Beds were very comfortable. Loved having access to the garage, most condos we’ve stayed in keep the garage locked. Made unloading so much easier and gave us a place to sit outside without being in the sun. Mason was a great host and made us feel at home the moment we walked in. We absolutely will stay here again!!

Our family had a fantastic time! We said the pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful setting, really nice home with everything you could need. Fire pit was very nice and we loved using the kayaks. We were impressed by how many kayaks, chairs, floats at the pool, towels etc provided. Even two fridges. It was well equipped for our large family! The bird watching was a bonus. Thank you for everything!

This is such a beautiful location right on the beach and right next to the playground! It was such a peaceful vacation spot. We really enjoyed the condo. Plenty of beds and televisions and all the amenities you could ask for.

When we returned home on Sunday, and checked our email, we found instructions on what to do when we left the condo. That notification was too late since we were traveling and not checking email. We didn't strip the bed, put the garbage out, or run the dishwasher which surprised us since there probably was a cleaning fee in the price of the reservation. The reservation fee was too high $800+ for 2 nights. We did like the fact that there were minimal stairs as we are an elderly couple. Instead of sending the condo access instructions the morning of the reservation date, Jennifer did send us our instructions earlier since we were traveling prior to that date. We were able to print off the access instructions. The condo was perfect for our needs as we just slept there and attended activities away from the property. It would have been nice to have k-cup decaf coffee.

Amazing! this cabin is awesome for “glamping” the location is right next to the pool, short walk to the resort restaurant/office. The beds were so comfy, everything was clean, cozy, and the decor was so cute! The communication with Dennis was awesome, great response time! We are already planning our next stay! :)

We had such a great, relaxing time! We loved the simplicity of the town as it helped us to slow down and just be still and present. We Loved hanging out at The Cedar Coffee and in the cabin. We can’t wait to book another stay at The Cedar Lodge and Cabins!

This place was perfect for what we needed. We were looking for a place to relax and unwind from a long day on the river. Even though this is a tiny home it was spacious, open and very inviting.

We had an amazing weekend at this beautiful farm cabin! It was peaceful, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved sitting by the fire in the evenings—it made the whole trip feel extra special. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and very family-friendly, with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy nature. The hosts were thoughtful and easy to communicate with. Can’t wait to return!

What an amazing little treasure we stumbled on to be able to rent this adorable lake house for the wk. The living room windows poured out a view of the lake and trees to make you feel like you never even had to leave the indoors to be outside. Looking out the windows made me feel like I was looking out of a tree house, and because the view from the windows, let you mingle from up high, you also got the pleasure to observe many different birds, accompanied by their beautiful singing. The house was lovely decorated inspiring one’s own imagination at home, The screened in porch on the side was amazing , loved drinking my coffee here right before dawn or dusk . The deck down below offered lots of room to spread out. Our son enjoyed all the wildlife, he especially loved all the frogs, turtles , and snails he found. Ron and Kathy were gems as hosts, definitely went out of there way to make you feel welcomed. Thanks again

This is the 3rd year coming to Doug's house. Every year he has added new and better accommodations for his guest. i couldn't ask for a better person to rent a bnb from. he's a great guy, he was on the phone to us when the storm rolled through and there was no power. He checked on us a couple times to make sure we were good. Our stay was great, beautiful scenery, and relaxing. We are booking to be back next year soon.

This was an absolutely amazing stay. I will definitely be planning more trips here. Julian was extremely helpful and communicated a lot throughout the process.

The River House is a fantastic spot for both families and groups of friends. Situated right on the river, the views create a peaceful, scenic backdrop for your stay. What truly made the experience exceptional for us, though, was the shelter house. Just a short walk from the main house and right by the river, it’s equipped with grills, a fire spit, and a deck box full of outdoor games and activities. Despite being on the same property as the owner’s residence, we had plenty of privacy and felt completely comfortable throughout our stay. On top of everything, Mark was incredibly responsive and helpful if we needed anything, which made the experience even more seamless and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a relaxing and well-equipped getaway right on the river, I highly recommend the River House.

I have stayed here before and loved how peaceful and beautiful it was. So I had to come back and will be back soon. Loved everything about the place and the way constance communicated with me.
