With only a 25min drive to downtown Nashville, you are tucked away amidst the towering hardwoods-away from the city noise. This brand-new one of a kind geodesic dome is located on a private road that leads you to an overlook featuring one of the most beautiful countryside views in Kentucky. While this getaway experience is nestled deep in the woods, it is also a close drive to all the conveniences you can imagine. This is an off the grid outdoor experience with a ½ mile gravel road including a steep hill. AWD or 4WD advised.

This is the perfect couples getaway! Arrive with everything you need for a few days then take a deep breath. On exhale everything not directly related to the river is turned off. Then mix and match the following activities on repeat….river and critter watching, drinks/cuddling by the fire, hot tubing, snuggling, napping, snacking, streaming...occasionally throw in some fishing, kayaking, and open fire cooking on the cast iron cookware.

Seclusion is a completely custom, hand-crafted cabin complete with a treehouse room, koi pond, rocky landscape, observatory tower and more in an unbeatable location. This cabin is located just a mile or two off the Slade, KY exit on top of a ridge in Red River Gorge. Built by Paul Rhodes in his spare time, this passion project took over six years to complete and boasts a uniqueness unrivaled by other accommodations.
