We absolutely loved our stay at the Ackerman Boat House! The home is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the house was stocked with all the essentials—plenty of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, coffee, condiments, etc…,and a fully equipped kitchen with all the dishes and utensils we needed. The hosts, Derek and Marti, were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. The toys provided were a huge hit with my grandkids and added an extra layer of fun to our trip. The fenced backyard gave us peace of mind while kids were playing and our pet was out. The house is located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood—just perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We truly had nothing but good things to say about this stay. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we will definitely be booking again!

Clean, convenient and complete. This home absolutely met all of our needs for this stay. The convenient location near shopping and the yacht club was perfect for what we needed on this trip. The home was very clean and we had everything we needed for the family for the week. We would definitely stay again. The owner was great at communication and there are appropriate gentle reminders throughout the home. I dropped the ball and forgot to take out the trash (they come really early compared to what I’m used to). The home is a great value.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! Everything was clean, well-kept, and exactly as described (if not better). The house had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, but the highlight for us was definitely the pool — absolutely perfect for lounging and spending quality time together. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into creating a welcoming and comfortable space. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely love to stay here again! The home was about 10 mins from Ookalosa Island and about 25 from Destin Beaches, we had a publix and Walmart within 10 mins of the home which was so convenient for all our last minute needs (always some last minute needs with kiddos)

The modernized kitchen was a major bonus—fully equipped with updated appliances, plenty of counter space, and everything we needed to whip up hearty meals. Having a washer and dryer on site made packing up and staying organized a breeze. 🛌 Comfort & Convenience: Plush beds that felt like they were made for long, restful sleep. Abundant towels, linens, and toiletries meant we didn’t have to bring extras. Thoughtful touches like beach chairs and cooler storage showed the hosts really care about guests’ needs. 📍 Location: Easy access to beaches, local shops, and dining. Everything you need within a short drive. 💬 Host Interaction: Our hosts were responsive, friendly, and provided clear check-in instructions. They flexible with our requests.

Downtown Bliss is a jewel of a find! The house is as gorgeous outside as it is inside; very clean and welcoming atmosphere. We took our girls and a few of their friends for summer trip and Lisett and Matt did not disappoint in expectations. The location is close to the beach and local activites. When we stayed back when the algae bloom hit the hot tub and pool were perfect, not to mention the privacy the property provided. Lisett and Matt were amazing hosts as they were always very quick with resposes to our questions about the house and had recommendations ready at our request. This is our spot for future trips to the area and would definitely recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful experience at Zachary’s place. My children loved the playroom, toys and the beautiful backyard. Tons of space for a big family or a group of friends. Would recommend!

The house was more than just an AIR BNB, it was a Home! Gary and Tiffany provided a very clean and pristine home. They also provided amenities. The location of the home is close to the Harbor, Crab Island dock, Supermarkets, restaurants and more! the neighborhood was very comforting and welcoming. The home is perfect for couples, friends or family friendly get-away. I definitely recommend and will be booking with them in the near future!

James is amazing host- very responsive and accommodating. Place was exactly as described, great location, very cute and clean. View is amazing and pool downstairs is a big plus for the hot days. We came to Destin for baseball tournament -we love the place. Strongly recommend.

Well-equipped for a beach stay. They furnish everything you will need...wagon, chairs, towels, toys, and more. Communication was great. They have carts to haul your luggage/stuff up & down to your room. Restaurant right next door if you are too tired to go out. Several restaurants just right down the road too. Close walk to the beach. Nice pool. Great place, highly recommend. I have stayed in many and they know how to Airbnb!

The bunny hole was a great little place to stay, perfect for two people. The location was perfect in a very short walk to the beach. I highly suggest this spot if you’re looking for a getaway.

Very quaint and clean place! Kitchen and bathroom was stocked with everything you could need and the bed was super comfortable! We were able to check in early as well, as the host was very accommodating for an early check in since it was available. This is located right in the heart of Destin, so everything was within 5-10 minutes of our stay. Will definitely look forward to future stays here!

Beautiful condo for a couple or small family. Everything you need for a great vacation. The beach was an easy 5 minute walk from door to sand. The condo was clean and updated. The only suggestion would be a bigger bed but we made it work!

I was on a girls trip visiting Fort Walton/Destin which lasted about 5 days and we stayed here, it was a wonderful spot! We loved how we were in walking distance to the beach! The pool was very nice and a relaxing place to wind down at the end of our event packed days! This home was very comfortable and it provided everything we needed including beach supplies! Bill and Lisa are amazing hosts, they were very responsive! I recall a day where my group and I were wondering how we were going to get all of our things down to the beach without a struggle, I contacted the hosts to ask if they had a wagon and then less than 10 minutes later, it was by the front door for us to use! That really made our day and we appreciate how kind and helpful they were to us! This was my first visit to this part of Florida and I recommend this home to anyone! I can’t wait to come back one day!

Great stay! Conveniently located near grocery stores, great restaurants, Fort Walton downtown, and Fort Walton Beach. The condo itself was perfect too! The bed is super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Also the bathroom had a cool little motion sense light that wasn’t too bright which was good for using the potty while half asleep and I liked that!

We really enjoyed our stay at Parker’s place. It was easy to find, the pool was awesome, and the balcony was super cozy with a great view. The beach bag and chairs were such a nice bonus—we definitely put them to good use. Overall, just a solid spot to relax and unwind. Would happily stay again.

I really enjoyed by stay! The unit was great, beautiful views, quiet surroundings (even with it being a holiday weekend), assigned parking space in the parking garage near the elevator, and having the beach service made for a great stay!!

From the moment I walked in the whole place was gorgeous. Super clean and the view from the entire unit was breathtaking. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and some of the best sleep I have had in a long time. Lori was the greatest host I have ever dealt with she was super responsive and friendly. This place was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. I will book this unit again with Lori :)

I will be renting this Airbnb again in 3 months. I love It here and I was Correct everything I wanted To try. Asiago skillet crab island harbor walk ate at Boshamps this place was right next to everything. I was Able to walk to most of my locations uber and Lyfts were reasonably priced due to everything being so close
