Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Oberstaufen

A very nice apartment, we will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful short vacation in Allgäu. Petra and Hartmut are super lovely people. The room and bath were very clean and cozy. We had a list of recommendations on what to do, where to eat, etc. Coffee maker and fridge were available, as well as cutlery and dishes, so you could have a nice breakfast every morning. We did it on the terrace with a great view. What should be noted is that all supermarkets close at 8 PM. All shopping should be done beforehand. The restaurant 2 minutes' walk away, Brauerei Gasthof Engelbräu, is also highly recommended. We didn't miss anything and we'd come back any time!

Britta's very likeable, uncomplicated and unobtrusive appearance made it difficult for us to say goodbye on the day of departure. From the first minute of our vacation, we were in feel-good mode. The kitchen amenities make the heart of a self-catering and hobby cook beat faster. Is there anything more beautiful than sleeping restfully on vacation, despite unfamiliar beds? No problem with Britta. Cozy living room with tasteful furnishings, a balcony with heavenly mountain panoramic views. And where else are you greeted in an apartment by the host with two beautiful bouquets of flowers? We will be back! Thank you for this wonderful stay.

We spent 4 great days here with 6 people! The house is beautifully located, offers a wonderful view and is ideal for hiking trips or simply for switching off. The house is very large and spacious, each of us had a single room available, there are also many parking spaces and a bus stop is right by the house. The large terrace with BBQ and beach chairs as well as the light-flooded dining/living room are the gem of the house. The in-house, well-equipped fitness center, together with the sauna, is the icing on the cake! The kitchen is basically very well equipped, coffee machine including beans as well as microwave and toaster available. Vinegar/oil and many spices are also very helpful. Glasses, cutlery and dishes, as well as knives in all sizes are also there. Large refrigerator with freezer and dishwasher also great. The cleanliness was okay but not outstanding.

The place was top-notch, just like the hosts. Everything was super clean. Norbert and Klaudia are very nice, attentive and helpful hosts. We felt very comfortable. The surroundings as well as the views were spectacular. If you value nature and a quiet neighborhood, you are definitely in the right place! Nice and quiet apartment in walking distance from the center of Isny. Great choice for a stop on our way to Italy. Will certainly come back if we are around

We rented the place for a company event (we needed 5 bedroom). The place is easily accessible, we all had a double bed. We had mentioned we wanted to use the BBQ if the weather would allow it. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the host and they had already started the fire pit for us to grill that evening. The living room and dining area was spacious and could accommodate all us of (5 adults) without problem.

Within 10 minutes you are right on the water. However, if you walk towards the apartment, it becomes quieter and quieter until you can no longer hear anything when you reach the apartment. You are surrounded only by natural sounds. You could also easily spend several hours in the apartment, if, for example, the weather was bad. The contact with Angelika was very nice. The recommendations were helpful and made the time there even more enjoyable. Would definitely go again.

Due to the street directories in Switzerland, I could not give an exact arrival time - nevertheless, a very warm welcome. In general, the whole atmosphere there was welcoming, honest and warm!!💐 The windows are low towards the garden, with a view behind it of meadow and forest. An open kitchen window was understood by the older cat lady "Nanu" belonging to the house as a natural invitation and immediately occupied a chair - I liked it very much, because I like cats. The only disadvantage, which I coped with well, as I was only there for a short time, is the very slow Internet connection. For me, however, everything was a good place to switch off!!

Everything went great. We'll be very happy to come back. Beautifully furnished, there was nothing missing. Bernadette and family are very nice and straightforward. We had a brilliant time. Some mini-deficit: We are very tall, in the living-dining room we had to keep ducking our heads. But that's how it always is with us. And living in such an old farmhouse with this style makes it worthwhile.

We had a very peaceful and pleasant stay. The amenities are perfect and the location is great. The landlords are very nice and helpful.

A very nice apartment with good amenities. We felt very comfortable in the apartment as it was very cozy. Particularly noteworthy were the good amenities, for example good kitchen knives. This is not always the case with Airbnb. You can always hear the very nice landlords, which didn't bother us at all. Katja was a very nice host. We can absolutely recommend the apartment!

The accommodation has a good value for money for the area. Karin and Kathi are warm and attentive hosts. The property is located in the same house as the tenant in a room next to the garage in a family environment (new development area). The room and the associated bathroom were very clean and modernly furnished. The bed is very comfortable, the pillows in my opinion rather the cheaper version. The kitchen is well equipped with the most important things. (In my opinion, the coffee machine with pads makes inedible coffee, the coffee at both bakeries in the village is great). You can rely on the gastronomic offer in the area.

The location of the accommodation was perfect for us. We arrived by train, and from Sonthofen, we could reach everything well by public transport. Even in the smaller towns, which were often the starting point of our hikes, we got there well by bus and train. The restaurants and cafes in downtown Sonthofen are within walking distance and good. Especially the tavern Anno 1898 and the café We can recommend Bene as well as the ice cream parlor || Nuova Gelato. The apartment is as described and we felt very comfortable. There was nothing missing, everything well thought out, lovingly designed, and superbly described. We had a wonderful time in Sonthofen, in the beloved Allgäu. There was nothing missing in the apartment. From scissors to dish soap and Zewa to several pillows and a comfortable bed to beautiful - not overloaded - decoration, not to mention the beautiful view of the mountains. For a weekend trip for two, the apartment and location are perfect. Diana and Frida were super friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. Keep it up! :)

We felt at home in the apartment. The apartment is even nicer than the pictures. The kitchen is superbly equipped for every cooking experiment. The view will take your breath away and peaceful at the same time. The farm shop in the village is also worth a visit, as well as the milk filling station. Greta was super friendly and had great tips for us. We will be happy to come back.

We had 1 night's accommodation for 4 people on our way to Switzerland. We were very impressed with the decor of the apartment. Very original, modern, with attention to every detail. Very clean, comfortable. Parking just in front of the entrance, which was convenient for us because we were with bikes. We didn't visit the neighborhood because we only stayed overnight. For 4 people, it was quite sufficient. It was great!

The apartment is great. Unfortunately, I was not well on arrival (we were only passing through on our way home) and then decided to drive home :-( Nevertheless, everyone was very sweet and understanding.

We stayed for 10 days in Thomas's beautiful and lovingly renovated apartment. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed our stay. Also highly recommended with a small child, it had everything from toys to children's cutlery and even a travel cot. We highly recommend the apartment.
