Mercy & Kevin’s place was perfect for our stay. Their place is in a peaceful and walkable neighborhood. The apartment itself was squeaky clean and as described. Kevin was very responsive and pleasant in our interactions. Would recommend to anyone visiting Berkeley, Oakland, SF.

We enjoyed our stay at Katherine's Alameda Home immensely, especially the quiet neighborhood and the walkability (about 1 mile) to restaurants. We brought our bikes because Alameda is so bike-friendly and it was breeze getting to and from delicious dinner locations on Webster Street. FYI, there are about 6 steps into the home and the bedroom and bathroom are up a flight of stairs. Katharine's place was perfect for us as a couple. The bed was comfy, linens were very clean, and furnishings fit the home style perfectly! We felt right at home. It was a wonderful place to stay for a couple nights while we visited family and friends in the Bay Area and to appreciate the charm of Alameda. Thanks, Katharine!

The place was very nice. We have kids & grandkids in the Bay Area and like to visit as often as possible. The place was clean and comfortable but most of all very welcoming. And Ramil reached out to make sure our needs were met. If the need arises we would definitely stay there again

The stay was great. It’s a perfect size for 2, clean, perfect heat and incredibly convenient to everything on park street. I hope I get to stay here again when I next visit Alameda!

This is a great place! The large back deck has great views of the bay. The home is quite large and very comfortable. There were four of us, and it was the perfect location for us. We liked the privacy and the quiet. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary cooking ware. Nora was very responsive. We will definitely come again!

This apartment has a lovely garden, which makes a stay very special. People should know that the apartment does not provide much space for cooking and clothes, especially for two guests, since it is just a tiny house. Raquel is very supportive, friendly, helps where she can very quickly and is flexible with the check-in and check-out times, which helped us a lot. It also great that a washer and dryer is included.

Five stars all around. This was my wife and I's second time staying at Mai's place (the first time being one year ago on our honeymoon!). We love SF, and Mai's place is the perfect respite from the city while remaining relatively close to most areas of interest. Mai is so kind and accommodating, and her place surely does feel like home! We look forward to staying here again and again in the future.

Nice place and Maurice was nice and responsive. Plenty of room for our family of 5. We had a positive experience and if we are in the area again we would stay there again.

We had a quiet one night stay in this relaxing backyard tea house. Love North Berkeley and it was so nice to walk to our anniversary dinner at Chez Panisse.

We absolutely loved everything about Eurydice's space. So elegant in its simplicity, and clearly prioritizing coziness and livability. She's thought of so many touches that made it all the more welcoming: extra throws and blankets, a fan and heater in the closet in case you need a temperature adjustment, a night light in the bathroom, super comfy seating and bed. All this set in a gorgeous garden that's very convenient to public transportation and very walkable to boot. On top of all that, Eurydice was a great host: very responsive, warm, and welcoming, even though I never ran into her while we were there. This place really felt like home away from home, and the most difficult part was getting myself to leave! :)

Very peaceful, well-equipped spacious place with a very helpful and responsive host. It’s an old house with lots of character - and some quirks - but suited us very, very well. And it’s spotlessly clean. It’s the second time we’ve stayed and we hope to be back!

While Mike was away on a trip, Lori went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—and more. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. She checked in with us just enough to make sure we were all set and shared amazing local tips that really made our trip extra special. Nancy was the nicest and most accommodating host we’ve had at a rental so far. We arrived late one evening when I realized I misplaced the dinner I’d packed to eat when we arrived and when I asked Nancy (who was greeting us when we first arrived) about pizza delivery options, she offered us a nice frozen cornbread pizza to cook in the rental. My hungry young son was so relieved. The backyard overlooks an incredibly green and peaceful hillside and we had such a relaxing time. Also downtown Fairfax is so close by and so adorable. Would love to come back!

House is In a beautiful spot. Driveway access requires stopping on the side of the main street getting out, punching the code for the gate then making a u turn to get in to the drive way. The house was very open and spacious. Overall the family enjoyed the house.

Jenny is an amazing, sweet and care host! From almost all this 10 years of airb&b she is my favorite. From the date I completed my reservation to the check out was a cordial communication. 100% recommend!!

Sara and Nic were gracious and very responsive hosts. Their home is spacious, clean, comfortable, and suited our needs perfectly. The outdoor space also looked wonderful but we didn't use it much because our visit was during winter.

This place is increíble! Hosts were friendly and proactive. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature and the view is unbeatable. The recommendations for hikes and restaurants were spot on. My husband and I had an amazing little getaway and we’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, gorgeous place to stay!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. The location is excellent, especially if you have young kids as it is next to a great playground. Lots of transportation options nearby and incredibly walkable. Beds are super comfortable. It’s been exactly a year since our last stay, and my only complaint is that the place could use a thorough clean out. There were odd items left behind from previous guests (an electric toothbrush, multiple empty shampoo bottles, medications, etc). The chair in the living room is pretty wobbly and likely is missing a bolt or 2. We’d likely stay here again but hopefully the owner stays on top of keeping this place elegant and comfortable!
