House vacation rentals in Oak Island

We will definitely be back! We loved the house! The pool was perfect size and the perfect cool down after the beach! Spacious outdoor shower which is a family favorite. Easy walk to the beach as she said and she thought of everything! Every toy , float, beach item was there to borrow. Bathroom was very clean, towels and linens supplied made packing easy. We felt at home❤️.

Chris was an amazing host! Check in was a breeze and Chris was extremely communicative. This house is beautiful and it is HUGE. The layout is great. The proximity to the beach is amazing. The pool is stunning. Being able to open the doors to the many decks that surround the house and feel the ocean breeze while also listening to the waves crash on the shore is the ultimate beach experience in my opinion. The kitchen was well stocked. The furniture was high quality and comfortable. The house was spotless. Every single amenity you could possibly need, is available in this house. The hosts have literally thought of EVERYTHING. The beach gear was an awesome perk also. We had the perfect getaway and will rent again for our next family vacation.

From the moment we arrived at Tiger’s Pride, we knew we had found a true gem! The home was in a great location, exceptionally clean, had room for everyone, and everything you could think of needing for a few days at the beach was at our fingertips. We were only a 3-5 min walk to the beach and chairs, cart, and umbrellas were provided. Local recommendations were spot on. NancyPaige was responsive and easy to connect with for any questions. We loved this home and hope to visit again soon!

Thank you for having us. Your home is a great stay for families and it’s nice that you allow dogs. Hosts are very responsive and will fix whatever issues might arise. Also, they leave you be and let you have complete control of the place. The pool is very nice and the screened in porch too. House is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. My only wishes were that there was better grass in the yard and around the pool area for dogs. Also, that the house didn’t have the faint smell of cigarette smoke. Aside from that, our stay was excellent and we would visit again. Thank you! We appreciate it. ❤️

Perfect place for an Oak Island stay. Very quiet neighborhood. Home was very clean. Pool was cloudy upon arrival and only got worse, a lot of fire ants around the pool. Overall we would stay there again and the beach equipment was a huge plus! Beds were OK, comfortable enough. Kitchen had everything you need as well, everything is labeled for easy finding.

Great place for a family of eight! We had one toddler and one infant with six adults. We had plenty of space! The kids enjoyed the pool and golf cart (purchased golf cart separately). Our adult kids also enjoyed the golf cart. The host was responsive to all questions and keeps a very nice place. The pool shed had a small wagon to take to the beach which was an added bonus we weren’t expecting. We also found a playpen for the infant which saved us from having to unpack ours. The outside shower was also fantastic after a day at the beach to keep from taking sand inside (if you have kids, you know what a task this can be). Also, when I left, I immediately added the sheets that were on the King bed to my Amazon list. So comfortable! We were within two blocks of the beach, coffee shops, and good food. Our favorite for breakfast was Fixins!

Brenda’s place is pristine, very neat, lots of fun add ons with the pool, sauna, walking distance to great restaurants, beach front and Publix. Brenda is super responsive and saved our mini-vacay by helping us at the 9th hour! We’ll certainly come back as we loved it there especially as first time in Oak Island.

The house was immaculate! From living quarters, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, screened porch and everything in between it truly felt like no corner was missed and as a mom of 2 young kids that was such a relief to walk into. There were beach and pool items that were actually usable and not rusted and salt water rotted like your typical rental spots. The location was perfect. Far enough from the main road to be private, but close enough to take the golf cart or walk anywhere you’d need to go. Mary was communicative, thankful and kind. I would not hesitate to rent here again.

My family all loved Charlie’s house! It was a great layout for adults chatting around the kitchen bar while kids had room to play. Kitchen was well equipped and furniture was comfortable. Having the linens in plastic wrap was a nice touch and felt very clean and safe. The beach was really nice in front of the house. Climbing over the dunes gave us a good workout, but also gave us privacy from beach walkers, etc. Hoping to rent here again!

This house is in a great location. Central to everything OKI. Very short drive to the beach. Great safe area to get out in the mornings and walk or ride a bike! The beds are very comfy! The house is clean and tidy! Very neat storage in the closets to unpack your luggage and stay awhile! They also have a fully stocked storage closet out back and allow you to use their beach gear! It was nice to not have to lug chairs down with us ! Big fenced in backyard for kids to play and run around in! Thanks for a very peaceful and comfy place to come and play and rest! This house is very reasonably priced also!

Peaceful Beach Getaway in Carolina Beach I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Carolina Beach. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. It was the ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a relaxing escape from the busyness of daily life. If you’re looking for a calm, coastal retreat with a great location, I highly recommend this place. I’d definitely love to come back again!

I had an amazing stay at this beach rental house! The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of fun in the sun. The house was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The host was exceptionally responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, from check-in to check-out. We appreciated the thoughtful initial items provided, which made settling in so easy. The location couldn't have been better—just a short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants, making it so convenient to enjoy everything the area has to offer. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic beach getaway!

This was our third amazing stay at Stacey's charming Oak Island home, and we love it more each time! Tucked away in a beautiful setting, it's the perfect quaint escape. Stacey's communication was swift and concise from booking to check-out, making everything effortless. Our only minor note for families with little ones is that the house features tile showers, which made bathing our 11-month-old a bit tricky – something to plan for! We absolutely adore this place and can't wait to return!

Stephen’s place was absolutely incredible. Located literally 53 steps to the beach. When it was too windy to sit on the beach, we sat on the porch and enjoyed the view from there. The house had everything you can imagine and more. The decor was “tastefully beachy”. Everything looked new- not random used stuff thrown together. Even the kitchen cabinets were organized and in order. As a host, Stephen went above what he was expected to do! We will certainly rent from him again!

Beautiful home in a great location! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to the beach. The private beach access and parking is a huge plus. The house was extremely clean, especially for a pet friendly property, and had everything we needed for our stay. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our pups. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay. The house is lovely and close to a scenic walkway to the beach in under a mile. The hosts were quick and responsive when we had questions.

Mike was the consummate host of a beautiful home with a modern, stocked kitchen and lots of beach “toys”. He let us know about the town’s summer concert series which was a highlight of our week along with making smores over a campfire in the firepit (good wood included with the house). We would definitely return.

Place was nice. Walking distance from the beach but we rented the golf cart provided with house for extra fee. Golf cart was super nice, big, and great. Also free Parking right at the beach. House did have a few small issues which can happen with renters but nothing major and people were very responsive with all issues. This includes a storm came and took down part of the fence first night we were there and they had someone out next morning to fix it. Also previous renters forgot to leave golf cart key. Surprisingly Someone was out with a spare key only 15 mins after I messaged about it. We were pleased with the stay. New pool is great and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to the really responsive owners and property management.

Excellent home for our vacation at the beach. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The screened porch and fenced backyard were perfect for our pup and for enjoying some morning coffee. Having the golf cart was great and the path to the beach was easy and convenient. Rob was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay-Jeanine was a helpful and responsive host and her home is absolutely lovely. We were staying in town for UNCW student orientation and this home was a perfect location for our family of 5. It is close to the university, close to the beach, and also close to the downtown river district. The home is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. The pool is stunning and very well maintained. It is such a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The home is very spacious, comfortable, and serene in decor and furnishings. Lovely!

This was our first annual siblings (cousins) trip - we wanted to make a tradition to get all the our babies together. We had kiddos from 18 years to 10 months and this place had something for everyone!! It is such an amazing place to stay! It was larger than we expected with plenty of space for several families to spread out! Jessica was very responsive and extremely kind! Our teens loved having their own separate space in the downstairs area under the carport. It was also closer to the beach than we expected and perfect distance for having littles with us that needed naps. We were able to walk them home to catch a quick naps and not have to pack everyone else up. Kitchen was excellent and the whole place was fully stocked. I have never seen such an abundance of extra pillows, blankets, towels, dishes, etc. Jessica truly has put herself in the guests’ shoes and thought of everything!!! If this place is on your “potentially maybe list”… just go ahead and book it!!!
