Beachfront vacation rentals in Oak Island

We stayed the weekend as a little beach getaway for our son’s 1st birthday, and couldn’t have had a better experience! The condo was clean and had beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful and relaxing!

A beautifully decorated condo that’s more spacious than the pictures and a quiet spot with ocean views . We enjoyed sitting on the patio for afternoon cocktails listening to the waves this week. Chad is an excellent host and we appreciated ALL the extra thoughtful touches and the local suggestions. Perfect for a couple looking to get away to relax. We would stay here again!

I have to start by saying, this is by far the cleanest air bnb I’ve ever stayed at. The cleaners do an AMAZING job here. We also appreciated having a washer and dryer during our stay. Location was perfect. I’ve never stayed so close to the beach in my life - this is beachFRONT and the balcony is a perfect place to relax and watch the waves roll in. Kure beach is a quaint little residential beach town (just my style) - quiet and laid back but close enough to Carolina beach and Wilmington for entertainment. It rained for a few days so we went to a nearby aquarium and that was super nice too. The little shops and restaurants nearby are charming too. The whole town was colorful, down to earth, beautiful and I felt right at home in the condo. I feel like I’ve found a hidden jewel and hope to come back again. I wish I would’ve booked a few more nights.

We had a wonderful stay at Anne's place! From start to finish, we had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. The condo was cute, clean and roomy enough for our group. We'll be back:)

Wonderful little quiet beach vacation get away! Perfect central location that still feels like your own little piece of paradise

Anne is a great host. The property is right at the beach. She provides soap, starter trash bags, dish detergent, you name it. Even coffee pods! She gives recommendations and is quick to respond. Great place.

Over all we had great time, it was a great location, only few steps from the beach, pool was also nice and the condo was clean.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beach house in Oak Island! The home was spotlessly clean and check-in was super easy. The host was fantastic—very responsive and communicated clearly throughout our stay. The pool and hot tub were absolute highlights—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Speaking of the beach, the access was unbeatable—just a short walk and you’re there! We truly enjoyed our time and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The location was great- a short block walk to the beach. We enjoyed the porch overlooking the water. Soft bed, adequate cook wear to prepare meals. Overall great stay!!

Steve’s condo was EXTREMELY clean, maintained and cozy. The view of the ocean here is amazing, it’s about as close to the ocean as you can get! The beach was clean and pretty easy to walk and not nearly as crowded as other places, this condo is also located directly beside the beach access!! Steve as a host was incredible! He was very helpful and informative and wanted to make sure we had the best time possible. We are already thinking about returning to this location for next year’s vacation and if we do, we will certainly book with Steve at this same condo again!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Denise has thought of everything. Her condo is absolutely perfect, a very private and peaceful place. The pictures are accurate and in person it’s even better. My best friend and I have been going on beach trips for 9 years, so we have seen many beach houses. We know what we want and we FINALLY found one we are returning to next year for our 10th to celebrate 40 years of friendship. I can’t think of a better place for it. ♥️ Denise is very detailed with YOUR experience. She has literally thought of all your needs and the home is emasculate. I cannot say enough about this GEM. It was clean, modern, stocked and comfortable. The view was AMAZING. The privacy was incredible. A total reset from “adulting”. I cannot say enough except STAY HERE, STOP LOOKING! Place was very cozy and the distance to the beach could not be beat. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom, which was very convenient. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and all utensils. The washer and dryer was also a nice feature. Don’t have to take any dirty clothes home :) Thank you Veronica for allowing us to stay in your home. We highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a dry close place on the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo in North Myrtle Beach. Two families of three shared the space and it felt like we had enough room to spread out. Condo was quiet, clean and pictures are accurate! We loved that we could walk to restaurants and ice cream! Our host was great - clear communication and great recommendations. Thanks!

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect for our stay in Holden Beach! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed — including a full kitchen (with a propane grill!) that made cooking meals super easy and convenient. One of our favorite features was the ability to do laundry on-site — a huge bonus for a beach trip! And the fenced-in backyard and beautiful, relaxing front porch made it the perfect spot to unwind after a day in the sun. But the highlight? The owner graciously let us bring our dogs — it was their first time at the beach, and it made this trip extra special and unforgettable. We made the sweetest memories watching them play in the sand and splash in the ocean. Perfect location! Just a few steps to the beach on a coded private walkway. Within easy walkable distance to the boardwalk for us & our small dog. Britts donuts has always been one of my favorite places! Condo was very clean. The king bed was really comfy. Amanda messaged after we checked in to make sure everything was going good & that we didn't have any issues with anything. I would highly recommend this condo.

We loved our getaway to Wave Wonder! It was just as described and the octagon deck was perfect for catching some rays and listening to the ocean. It has a very spacious layout and we felt very comfortable. Great value for being so close to the beach! Hoping to stay again in the future!

Our family has gone to Oak Island every year around Memorial Day for the last 6 years and we've always been looking for a spot that we can return to every year. Nothing has been quite right. Until we stayed here. This spot has everything we love. Right on the beach with easy access. Great layout with big beautiful windows. Something fun for the boys to play (air hockey). Really comfy beds. Very clean. Walking distance to all our favorite restaurants. It was great. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful Beach Getaway in Carolina Beach I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Carolina Beach. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. It was the ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a relaxing escape from the busyness of daily life. If you’re looking for a calm, coastal retreat with a great location, I highly recommend this place. I’d definitely love to come back again!

The property location was SO convenient - steps from the beach, walkable to restaurants and shops, and came with all the things needed when going to and from the beach (chairs, beach umbrella, wagon, hose to wash fee, etc.). We enjoyed hanging out on the back deck looking out at the beach while we ate or read a book or just talked. The dogs loved the place too and we appreciated that the couch was covered for them to lay on and relax. While the bathrooms are small, the water pressure was great and everything worked fine. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with what we needed to cook and eat in. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and not onerous. I loved having the sliding door from the bedroom to the back deck and being able to look out at the ocean while laying in bed. The hosts were both super responsive with any questions we had. We'll definitely be back!

This is one of the nicest homes we have rented! Joe had lots of extras! Dog treats, coffee creamer, popcorn, a nice selection of teas, and any spice you would ever need to create a good meal!!
