Tiny Home Boxcar Sanctuary 1898

AliceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This space is somehow even more inviting and wonderful than the photos portray. It feels spacious but cozy and has so much character and vibe and I fell in love the moment I walked in! Jean and Steve are the ultimate hosts. Attentive and so friendly, but with plenty of space. There are touches throughout that covered every need I could think of for a beautiful Taos retreat. The claw foot tub with a gorgeous view is a highlight, but the bed is also luxurious and comfy with lots of pillows and covers. And getting to sit au naturel in a hot tub under the stars is very hard to beat. The location feels so secluded at the end of a dead end road, but easy access to everything around. I will definitely be returning!
A private casita is set amidst a garden, framed by a blooming white flowering tree. The entrance features large glass doors, inviting natural light into the interior. An outdoor seating area with picnic tables can be seen, surrounded by a peaceful landscape.

Sara's Casita on Summer. Amazing location!

JessicaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Enjoyed a peaceful and productive writing retreat at Sara's casita. Easy to find, very private and quiet. Free neighborhood street parking. Clean and tidy inside, exactly as the pictures show. The a/c window units kept the casita cool, even in 90+ degree heat. Sara is really friendly and was available to answer questions via messages or in person when she was at home (her dog is very sweet, too). 2-minute walk to pizza, 5 to coffee and New Mexican food, 15-20 to Old Town (museums, restaurants, shops, etc.). Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This is our second stay at Nancy’s place. It was just as wonderful the 2nd time. We really appreciate the amenities in the home. And it is really just a perfect distance from so many things. The art galleries are one street over. Town is down the street. Really wonderful. Highly recommend! Thank you Nancy!

Enchanted Sanctuary Casita in Historic East Side

RobinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a charming adobe house set in a peaceful neighborhood and within walking distance to many galleries. (10-15 min walk to Canyon Road). The home itself shows the character of an authentic 100 year old adobe house and was exactly what I was hoping for when making the reservation. Tess was quick to reply to questions and gave great suggestions for local restaurants. The shared courtyard is well landscaped and the fountain made for a lovely view. This also allowed for natural interactions with our hostess. As there is no TV, it truly served as a retreat and place to get away and relax. Being from Tennessee I was doubtful about the natural cooling of the adobe structure but can confirm that we slept comfortably with the windows open and no air conditioning was needed though Tess did offer fans if needed. Overall, this was a great experience and I am so thankful we were able to stay at this lovely home. Thank you Tess!

Wake Up With Miniature Horses Serenity Cottage

AliciaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
My mom and I visited for some peace and quieting, escaping the bustle of city life in Chicago. Liz and husband were SOOOO welcoming and her cottage is exactly what we were looking for. About a 40 minute drive from Santa Fe, but well worth it for the views driving in and out. We were able to meet the equines and learn about the work Liz does and we are so amazed and happy people like her exist in this world. We were also spoiled with fresh baked muffins every morning of our stay - the strawberry ones were my personal favorite! Would not hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage to anyone visiting the Santa Fe area. Also, def recommend the Ojo Caliente spa. It’s a bit of a drive (about 1.5 hrs) but WELL worth it. Thanks Liz!!

Modern A-Frame in Santa Fe National Forest

KyleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Not only was the cabin perfect, it could not have been located in a more beautiful place. It has amenities galore – a hot tub, sauna fire pits and direct access to the Pecos River. The Santa Fe Nation Forest is the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend or as much activity as you can handle. Santa Fe is an easy hop away as are many historical sites, trails and destinations. The only thing more exceptional than the property and forest are the host. Their hospitality goes above and beyond all expectations.

Peak View Retreat Convertible A Frame

MattRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The A frame was fantastic. As other reviewers said, it’s a bit of an uphill walk. If you let the hosts know when you arrive, they show up with a 4 Wheeler to get your gear up. We were able to lug up our stuff with a wagon - I had a full sized cooler and they was a challenge with the terrain. Other than that, it was amazing. Super quiet. Nice views. Incredibly clean space with all the grill tools and flatware you need. The fireplace and nice chairs were perfect for evening time. Quick 15 min drive to lake Trinidad for kayaking. Would definitely stay here again, and plan on doing so!

Horse Ranch Casita #B

CynthiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Quiet and well away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Santa Fe. For us, this location was close to fun thrift stores (The Cat Stores and the Horse Rescue Shelter Thrift) and our favorite restaurant, The Ranch House. Still an easy drive to downtown via I-25 to Old Pecos Trail. We also traveled to Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch via 599/Vets Memorial Highway. Clean, nicely decorated with a western flair and extremely responsive hosts. We would definitely stay again.
