Earth house vacation rentals in Northern New Mexico

The stay we had in our earthship was life changing! It was nice to unplug from our busy lives and appreciate how nature relates to us. This concept is such a great idea! We loved sitting out back at night and watching the stars. It was such a clear and lovely sky without any light pollution interfering. It was only a ten minute drive to the rio grande gorge bridge. We watched the sunset there.

Truly incredible and unique place to stay. If you’re in the area you don’t want to miss this stay. It was only 15 minutes from Taos and yet very secluded and private. Given that it is an underground home made of adobe you can expect a bit of dust and a few friends with more than four legs. I will also say the shower ran out of hot water very quickly. Still would highly highly recommend.

Amy’s casita was the perfect location for a long weekend in Sante Fe. Exactly as pictured, the casita was beautiful, very clean, well stocked, and you just can’t beat the roof top deck! Stunning views in a lovely, quiet, walkable neighborhood. Great location- close to so many of Sante Fe’s best attractions. Perfect place for a couple or solo traveler.

The house is spacious and so comfortable. Beds were super comfortable and bathrooms were spotless and well appointed. Views from the outdoor spaces were gorgeous! Kitchen was well appointed, neighborhood was lovely and safe yet close to town and grocery. Highly recommend this property!

Lovely home near Taos Ski Valley that is exactly as described in the listing. The home is spacious and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and there were thoughtful touches throughout. The location is perfect for a quick drive to Taos Ski Valley and into town for dinner. We will definitely stay again our next trip out.

It was wonderful. Relaxing, quiet, close to fine restaurants and the plaza. Everything you need or want was there. Linda made sure that you knew she was available to help if you had any questions.

Our stay was outstanding. The view was amazing to wake up to each morning and the house worked perfectly for my family! These comfortable and roomy accommodations made our visit to Santa Fe feel like home!

Great location! There is so much to do in a walkable distance. There was lots of space for a family in the house. We were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

This was my third stay at this place. It is an absolutely charming "casita", with a long history. Every feature made for a fantastic stay. For piano players there is also a baby grand piano, very playable!

Beautiful, clean place in the outskirts of Taos with gorgeous views of the plains and mountains, especially from the hot tub :) owner was communicative too

Very nice location to explore Santa Fe but also its surroundings, like driving up to Taos and to the canyons.

Words cannot describe the beauty and tranquility of this very special Casita. Every detail was tenderly thought of with so much care. It was a truly magical experience staying here. Amazing location - about 15 minute walk to restaurants and shops. 10 minute drive to hiking trails. Grassy park across the street with enclosed dog park behind it. Home was super comfortable to stay in and we were surprised how cool it stayed inside. Lena was the perfect host with English muffins, coffee, and wine ready for us on arrival. 10/10 would stay here again!

One of my favorite stays! Pat is a generous and kind host. The casita is cozy and efficient. Great lighting throughout. Comfortable bed. It was a wonderful monthlong residency.

Mickie’s house was absolutely wonderful The house itself is stunning, the gardens are gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was nice and large. If I’m ever in the area I would absolutely stay here again, and would absolutely recommend others stay here!

Sunset Art House and her host are extraordinary. I was hesitant to stay outside of “downtown,” I’m so glad we did. After a full day of exploring, hiking, or shopping, the House called us home to unwind and hang with each other in an authentic New Mexico setting. The house is amazing - sunsets, walks, stars at night, even a tree filled with a flock of Cedar Wax Wings. Host is responsive and pleasant; house is wonderful; beds are comfy; kitchen is the ultimate gathering place and fully stocked. I would stay here over and over and over again.

It was a lovely home and had everything you could need if you do happen to forget something on your packing list. Very quiet neighborhood as well.

This house, and location, are magical! I had an amzing time here with my family: stargazing on the rooftop deck with coyotes yapping in the distance, beautiful sunsets, <10 minute to natural hot springs on the bank of the Rio Grande. The house us also just so cool, like an art filled desert castle! Comfy and quiet, close to Taos dining and shopping. I hope to come back.

This is truly a magical place. The rooms are well decorated and maintained. We love the idea of the Earthship community. I’d definitely recommend everyone to stay here to experience the amazing tranquility of this property.

This place is just wonderful. There are no words for the 360 views around the house--stunning in all directions. The house is super cozy, comfortable, and lovely. Can't wait to come back...we wish we were still there!!
