House vacation rentals in North York Moors National Park

Wow!!! A truly amazingly spacious house. Just spent 4 nights there celebrating my 60th with the family. Simon and Mandy met my husband as he arrived to go through everything. The house is fully equipped with everything you would need. Literally home from home. There was 6 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog and with so much room we could spread out. The children loved being able to run around and of course the pool!! The men thoroughly enjoyed the games room every evening especiallythe pinball machine. Us ladies chilled in the lounge room with a wine. We asked if one of the double single rooms could be made into a superking and the hosts were only to happy to oblige. The house was exactly as described, in fact better! Located in a rural quiet area. Spotlessly clean too. Bath towels supplied were so soft. The hosts kept in touch and answered all my messages promptly. Can't think of anything to fault as so perfect. Would definitely recommend a stay at Hill Crest House.

Absolutely loved our stay at Cliff House with Jacquline. Beautiful location, swimming pool was such a bonus for the children, they loved it! The grounds were fantastic, such a lot to explore, our children loved the chickens and climbing frame and the private wood was great for hide and seek. Jacquline was such a great, friendly host and gave us great advice about visiting York. She even arranged an Easter egg hunt for our children. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Salty Kisses with my family. The house was clean, well equipped and in a great location. Joanne was a very good host and emailed all the information I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place to relax with friends. Really enjoyed the terrace and the views. Comfortable beds. A very attractive holiday park estate with a great feel. So close to the beaches and beach cafe. Richard very responsive and helpful. A perfect week.

The place was lovely, a short walk to the lovely beach was the main draw. A good location to explore nearby towns by car. The additional of the on site swimming pool was great. The house the comfortable and great space for the 4 of us. Andree was very friendly and knew if we needed anything we could get in touch. Thanks.

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

Expensive but worth every penny for our 4 generation trip. Rooms for exuberant kids and quiet rooms for 90+ years old great grand parents. Large sociable kitchen diner . Swim spa at 35c so great for the Californian kids.

Had a lovely stay here. Home is well equipped and cosy, a great location with beautiful views. Loved having my morning coffee by the river. The kids are already asking to come back next year.

This is a haven of tranquility. Walk through the doors and you feel at home. So beautifully decorated, absolutely perfect in every way. We are keen cooks, love to spend time in the kitchen making meals and enjoying company of friends. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with all you need. Peter is an outstanding host and offers support instantly. We had a slight glitch with the internet (not Peter’s fault!) and he was so helpful and supportive. We love the place. Seriously LOVE! We will be back and look forward to being back!

Wow what a location and property! We were so excited to arrive and were overjoyed when our high expectations were exceeded! This really is a spot of magic, the views, scenery and local walks are unbeatable and the cottage is truly beautiful inside, with everything you would need for a luxury relaxing stay. We have already talked of when to return. Sunrises from the back garden were spectacular.

Fantastic little cottage, very clean and well presented just as described. Very good location for other places to visit and explore, lots of food and mini supermarkets available. We would highly recommend this beautiful quirky cottage to others and will definitely use again if we're staying near there it was so relaxing and not too far from the wedding venue we were guests at. We had a peaceful few days at Liz and Nick’s cottage. It was spotlessly clean and extremely peaceful, being set in the most beautiful surroundings. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the home-baked cookies were delicious! Liz’s communication was excellent and she was very accommodating when we needed to change the days of our stay slightly. We would definitely recommend it to others.

Beautiful cottage. Great care had been taken with the decor, fittings and appliances and everything was in perfect working order. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. There was a lovely welcome message when we arrived and some delicious ginger biscuits were waiting on the kitchen counter. The cottage is ideally situated with just a two minute walk to the cliff top coastal path and a short drive to the RSPB Reserve at Bempton Cliffs where we achieved our goal of seeing puffins . I am so pleased I chose this particular property

What a beautiful place to stay! So stylish and tasteful and full of character. The perfect quintessential Yorkshire stone cottage with roses over the door. There are lovely towns and villages a short drive away for pubs and restaurants. But the house is fully equipped for self catering and staying in to enjoy the tranquillity if you prefer. Gorgeous cottage, in a fantastic location plenty to do for a young family, flamingo land, castle Howard (Skelf island a must), Whitby and Scarborough. We have had an amazing fun filled week, it has been so lovely to start and end the day at this cottage, child friendly, super clean and very comfy beds. We will be sure to be back again and definitely will be recommending. Many thanks Clare for being a great host.

We have stayed in a lot of Airbnb's and this accommodation was the best by far! It was spotlessly clean and all the fixtures and fittings were very high end. Excellently located to enable touring from Flamborough Head to Staithes and inland to the North York Moors. The view from the property was superb, looking towards the sea and Scarborough Castle and it was very peaceful. Angela and Richard were wonderful hosts and I felt that by the end of our stay we had become good friends. We highly recommend a stay here.

Thanks Flo & Phil for a great long weekend at Wood Cottage. In a very rural village it was so quiet and peaceful with a nice space outdoors to enjoy the sunny weather and sunsets. Wood Cottage has a beautiful and cosy interior and was perfect to enjoy with our two little children. Helpful baby items were provided and my toddler loved the dolls house and all the toys and jigsaws. We enjoyed exploring Castle Howard and Scampston gardens which are both short drives away. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend in the county! Thanns.

Had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage. The cottage itself was beautifully presented, decorated and clean, great space indoors & outside, with all the amenities you’d need for the stay. The location was great, especially for activities and dog walks & the village itself had a lovely bar/restaurant and deli close by. Thanks Laura and team for a wonderful stay! This is probably the best location for an air bnb in ainthorpe. Directly next to the only pub around and walkable to the Darby castle wedding location. The house was well equipped and clean. Perfect for a group of friends.

Olivia’s place was absolutely stunning. It was spotless, clean tidy and clutter free. Very modern interior appliances were 5 star. The balcony was an added bonus the view was absolutely stunning just as described. The cottage was close to local amenities bars restaurants beaches. The host Olivia was prompt in responding to my questions and at the end of phone if needed. We will definitely be back if in Whitby. If you are thinking of staying here I would highly recommend. 😊

Our stay at Sandfield House was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The house is beautifully decorated with a real sense of luxury throughout – every room has been thoughtfully styled, creating a warm, elegant and relaxing atmosphere. Craig and Charlotte were incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even added some very special touches to help us celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday, which meant so much to all of us. It’s clear that every single detail has been carefully considered – from the amenities to the little extras that made our stay so comfortable. We truly felt lucky to have found such a wonderful place, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend Sandfield House for anyone looking for a truly memorable and luxurious getaway.
