The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. Lovely stay in York, being able to leave the car in a private spot during the day and walk to the town centre was definitely a bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple cooking and the bathroom was very clean. We didn’t get bothered by neighbours or outside noise during the night so that was perfect ! Gary gave very clear instructions and was quick to respond whenever I messaged him. Would definitely recommend !

A fantastic location with parking but perfect if you are foot. Easy access from the station and into the city. The accommodation was as specified, nicely furnished and fully kitted out if you want to cook, iron etc. Overlooking the city walls but a quiet location nevertheless. We has a very happy stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Carolyn’s place in York, a brilliant apartment, well equipped and such a perfect location, just a few minutes from the centre walking. Carolyn was great with any questions we had and her instructions/directions were all super clear, thank you!!

This is our second trip to Whitby. This stay was slightly closer to the centre which was a huge bonus. another bonus was the parking. The flat was beautiful, exactly as it shows in the pictures, spacious, spotlessly clean with very comfortable furniture. All the extras were very much appreciated, tea, coffee, biscuits, good sized mugs, tea towels, washing up liquid, salt & pepper & not forgetting the wine! We cannot fault anything about our stay and should we visit again, this will be our first & possibly only choice of accommodation. Thankyou Val x

Gorgeous, stylish and comfortable flat in a great location for exploring the city. Everything has been thought about: the interior design, the kitchen equipment, the parking permits and the coffee pods, and everything was comfortable and stress free. Spotlessly clean, impeccable comms and a really friendly welcome. There is some road noise, so if you're not normally a city dweller, you could be disturbed. Wasn't a problem for us - highly recommend.

The basement apartment was as described - spacious, clean and well equipped, in a peaceful suburban location. It was good to have space on the drive to park the car; checking in was straightforward. We appreciated the comfortable beds after exploring the local area during the day. And there's a fine selection of restaurants. Tom was quick to respond. A great place to stay!

Louise’s place was great. It was the perfect location. We explored and then could easily take a break. We had everything we needed and we were comfortable. It was a warm night, so we had the windows open. There was a lot of fun happening on the street. If you’re a light sleeper, you may want ear plugs. We highly recommend this apartment.

A well equipped and appointed apartment in an excellent location. All of the key attractions in Whitby are walkable from the apartment and it was closer to the beach than we originally thought. The scratch card system for parking works well and we were always able to park within 100m of the apartment but make sure you write your reg number on the scratch card as the only parking tickets we saw on cars were where the drivers had not done this. Mandy and Lauren are excellent communicators.

We stayed on a bank holiday and it was honestly one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we have stayed. The bed was so comfortable and we slept amazing! The location is so easy to find and was right near everything which made it so easy to go to places. Parking was perfect and meant we didn’t have to worry about parking and could just leave the car and go and explore.The hosts were so friendly and easy to contact however we didn’t have an any problems while staying which made our trip even better. The apartment was spotless and designed beautifully but the view from the living room made it even better as we could see the castle and beach. We would definitely recommend booking here!

Absolutely stunning views from this lovely apartment. We stayed midweek and out of season and were blessed with good weather. The sitting room has fantastic views out to sea. The bedrooms have sea views too and the sunrise view is beautiful. The apartment is clean and peaceful - we heard no noise from any neighbours at all. The beds were comfy; plenty of storage space and all the kitchen equipment needed. The shower is powerful and hot water plentiful. The location is tremendous for food and drink. The pub is very close and welcoming and the food very good. We also ate at Fish Cottage and Estbek House - both fantastic. No shop in walking distance but a very good Lidl less than 10 minutes drive away. The highlights for us were the walks from right outside the door (Cleveland Way, Mulgrave Woods including castle) and the public transport (2 buses an hour in either direction from right outside). Parking space right across the road (designated). Strongly recommend!!

Beautiful apartment on vast estate. Furnished to a high standard, well equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. Great feel of space, light and superb views. The hall is 20 minutes drive from the local town. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and off the beaten track, you’ll like this. Dog friendly accommodation, Paddy our Cockapoo, thoroughly enjoyed the walks. Thank you Ellie.

The Guest Place was a lovely place to stay, perfectly appointed (with a really comfy bed!), spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous street. Walking distance to amenities and the beach too. Ann was a great host, communicated regularly and made me feel really welcome. I hope to stay again!

Had a great time at Lyndies place. Jayne was fantastic meeting us and letting us into the property. Jayne was super helpful and very communicative all through our visit. She also did a linen change for us during our visit for different folks visiting

This is our second stay at low tide, stayed in 2023 and it was as beautiful as it was then! Super clean, gorgeous decor, great little courtyard and lovely little touches for the doggy (dog bowls, blanket)! Hosts were very quick to respond to any messages! Great location, 2 mins to the beach, private parking you coudnt ask for anymore! Will be back again 100%

Stayed here for a night with some friends for a birthday get together.. we all had a fab time and couldn’t believe how amazing the place was inside, even more amazing in person than the pictures! So much detail and space, almost feels magical I don’t think you could have the same experience in a regular hotel or home. So much effort has been made to make the place enjoyable and comfortable. Couldn’t thank Jennifer and Brian enough for welcoming us and being so friendly and helpful, overall great experience we had a fab time! We will be back Thankyou again xxx

My wife and I had an amazing 2 night stay. Great location and fabulous views. The Hot tub was superb, we were lucky enough to catch two beautiful sunsets. Whitby centre is only a small walk away, with loads to do. Will definitely be back.

Our stay was brilliant for a weekend getaway to Manchester. Beautiful and relaxing surroundings out of the city, but close enough to city to keep you preoccupied. The log cabin is completely private, but facilitated with everything you need. Chris was a brilliant host, very informative of local businesses, we even had a lovely breakfast at local recommendation of a farm shop/cafe. Will be recommending to friends.

Only stayed for 1 night but it was a lovely stay! The location was perfect and so relaxing with the stream at the end of the garden. Just short of a 10 minute walk to Main Street where there were some lovely pubs with excellent food so we had everything we needed for our stay! The hot tub was a nice touch too and already heated for us so we didn't have to do anything apart from get in and chill! Would definitely visit again. Thanks Phil!

Beautiful cozy farmhouse in a lovely town near Leeds. The place was absolutely gorgeous - warm, inviting, and full of charm. The hot tub was amazing, and there were plenty of games to enjoy. The host was super helpful and thoughtful with great local recommendations as well as leaving crumpets, fresh milk and butter and a selection of cereals and snacks for us to enjoy. No negatives, highly recommend!

This is by far the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The quality of fixtures and attention to detail was an absolute pleasure. Such a beautiful view to wake up to. I can say enough nice things about the place. I hope that we can come back soon

As a solo traveller looking for some peace and quiet, it was absolutely ideal. The village itself is beautiful but also very, very quiet - no shops, restaurants or pubs so do be mindful if you're wanting somewhere that has these to offer. The only downfall I would say was that the hot tub was available (you need to book a slot) at an extra fee (£10 for myself for a 2hr session) which doesn't seem much, but given the total cost of the stay, I did expect it to be included - however it was still a lovely experience and the shared garden is lovely if you're just wanting to unwind outdoors.
