Our yurt is privately located on a ten acre property with its own entrance and nestled up against national forest. A short creek trail right from your front door is for you to enjoy at your own risk! You’ll have the view of Ironside Mountain and the sound of the rushing Hennessy Creek while you’re soaking in an outdoor tub giving you that peaceful getaway feel. Fishing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, mountain biking and dirt bike riding are just some of what’s to offer in these rugged lands.

Exotic getaway in Sobrante hills

This is Mongolian traditional yurt when we married 40 years ago, our parents built it for us. It is located in our backyard about 90 feet from the street on the deck under pine trees. Path to the yurt has 12 steps and 15 degree up on some part of the deck. We have beautifully decorated, half around, eclectic full bathroom outside the yurt just 2 steps away. Yurt has low front door and low beds and seats. No tv, no wifi. It is out of your comfort zone! No human contact, self check in.

"Lovely" (the name of the guesthouse) is a perfect, economical nature getaway spot to relax and explore the rugged, beautiful nature of Point Reyes, just 1 hour north of San Francisco. Situated on five beautiful mixed wooded and landscaped, primarily flat acres on a hill overlooking Tomales Bay, this cozy, private cottage is one of several structures comprising the beautiful and famous Van der Ryn Ecorefuge, created by the renowned ecological architect Sim Van der Ryn.

Farm Stay Inn - Poleeko Yurt

The yurt offers sleeping arrangements for 12 with twin single and bunk bends. It is great for a group vacation or event. There is a full bathroom attached with 3 stalls and 3 showers. A continental breakfast is included each morning of your stay. Breakfast is served from 8-10 am in the yellow farmhouse. Farm Stay Inn is located on a well, water throughout the property is potable. If sensitive to well water, please provide your own drinking water.

Our yurt is a place of tranquility & fun in the round. It’s a perfect for a romantic getaway or family vacation. You have private river access located next to the Strawhouse Cafe’ across the street where you can swim, fish, relax, and/or hike nearby trails. The kitchen has a mini fridge, air fryer, toaster oven, induction plate & microwave and is stocked with cups, plates, silverware, etc. Charcoal BBQ is in share area outside.
