Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. She was warm and welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed. So grateful for such a lovely stay in a beautiful area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ainslie 🥰🤩🥳

Dog friendly, Country cottage with Hot tub

BettyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely loved staying at the cottage. This was our third place during our Scotland trip and I am so glad we booked it. It allowed us to explore more nature scenes across Scotland and simply have a safe and comfortable home after exploring all day. If we are ever in Scotland again, we will certainly book again.

The Old Piggery in the heart of Northumberland

JayneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Fabulous! We had 6 days at the Old Piggery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts are brilliant and the accommodation equally brilliant too. Peaceful location, well kept gardens, lovely hot tub and there was everything we needed at the accommodation. The hosts also left us some lovely surprises/treats too. Very thoughtful! We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to come home and we will be back again in future. Thank you Sue and Phil!

Cliff Walk Cottage, Cotton of Auchmithie, Arbroath

PedroRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This cottage is wonderful. It's very cozy, has everything one could want including a big hot tub in a very secluded garden. We have dogs and because the garden is surrounded by stone walls and fences, it was perfect to let them wonder while we were in the hot tub. Very secluded and secure garden. The area is just idyllic. Two minutes away from Auchmittie and in the middle of beautiful countryside and so close to great beaches too. The hosts were excellent in all aspects too.

Luxury River View Farm Cottage + Dog Friendly

VirginiaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The stay at the beautiful cottage was exceptional. The views from the house are amazing, the house is equipped with high end bathroom and bedroom fabrics and amenities and the house is beautifully decorated and very spacious. Even more beautiful than on the pictures. As a welcome there was a hand written card and hand picked wildflowers and a very generous food package with milk, eggs, ciders, treats etc. Rachel was responding very quickly and was super nice and helpful. When we are in the area again we would be back any time. Highly recommended.

Homely cottage & tranquil garden, beaches nearby

HarryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We needed somewhere to stay for several days at short notice as one of our dogs had extreme surgery; the only veterinary surgeon in the whole of Scotland that was prepared to carry out such an operation was in Fife: we live in the Shetland Islands so getting a ferry at this time of the year is almost impossible. Hilary kindly accommodated us at very short notice to which we are truly grateful. We have to come back to Fife again in July/August for our 2nd dog's operation; however, it'll be peak season so I guess we'll not be so lucky next time. Penny Cottage has a lovely homely feeling with all the amenities that anyone would require. We hope to be back for a holiday in the future! Thank you.

Cosy, Romantic Bolthole for 2 - Coveyheugh Lodge

JanineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a lovely stay the house is lovely and had everything we needed, very quaint and quirky. Lovely garden with lots of wild flowers, birds and butterflies, even fat balls for us to feed the birds so we could enjoy the wildlife. I don’t understand the negative reviews regarding the train being an issue it caused us no issues at all and in fact it was nice to hear. The fridge is a little small so if planning to take lots of supplies requiring refrigeration you may need to consider that - but for two people for a couple of nights it served its purpose. We had no issues with water pressure. Agree with others that the mattress could be a little more comfortable but after a day diving I slept fine. Ideal location for st abbs diving and 5 minute drive from Eyemouth where there is a coop supermarket. I did bang my head a couple of times on the back door exit as it’s very low - but this a traditional feature of the property so not sure how they owner can get round this Thank you !

Great cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Martin and Rosie were available if needed but unobtrusive. Wonderful location wirhin the town walls wirh river views. Our stay was in a very warm period so the upstairs bedroom was very hot and maybe a blackout blind on the velux window may be helpful. That said, we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you both.😍

Bread Oven Cottage - a cosy slice of history

RosalindRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The Bread oven was very comfortable, well equipped and furnished particularly if you want to cook your own meals. The china, cutlery and utensils were all of a much better quality than most Airbnbs .We enjoyed being to sit in an attractive garden. The home made bread, shortbread biscuits, fruit juice, butter, milk and jam were much appreciated and Andy and Sue were helpful and friendly hosts. It was also very useful to be able to charge our EV car on site. We were sent a comprehensive log book before we arrived with gave a lot of useful and helpful information about the cottage and the area. There was plenty of storage space both for clothes and food. We hope to return to explore more of the area than 3 days allowed.

Pier View Cottage with stunning sea views.

CarolineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Really enjoyed our stay here. It gutted our needs perfectly as it was in a quiet area but only 20 minutes from St Andrews and the view from the living room was lovely. Ron helpfully, and proactively, gave us some recommendations of places to eat both of which were just a short walk away. The Clock Tower Cafe did superb breakfasts & The Dory in the harbour was a wonderful treat on an evening. Thank you Ron for a lovely stay.
