Lindisfarne Lodge

MelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lindisfarne lodge is an absolute steal for the price we paid. A cosy lodge with room for up to 6 to sleep. It boasts a hot tub, beautiful surroundings, several garden chill out spots, a pool table, dart board, board games as well as a TV, we couldn't have been happier. Kath has the place spotless and ready for you to settle in immediately. We were blown away by her thoughtfulness in leaving us everything we might need (tea, coffee, sanitary products, breakfast food and snacks, as well as treats for the children and us adults too) you can't fault the service or accommodation. It's impeccable. We had the best weekend and we'll be back to relax all over again.

Luxury Log Cabin with Hot Tub & Outstanding Views

JamesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The log cabin was a fantastic find for a rare experience! We and our children were all very impressed with the entertainment and were very comfortable. We loved the personal touches and felt at home. Claire was a helpful and friendly host. Good for a secure stay and parking, and a short drive from Durham. The children loved it too and didn’t want to leave!

The Tyne Log Cabin with Hot Tub

LucyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an absolutely perfect Easter weekend at the lodge! The space was far more spacious than the photos suggested, easily accommodating our group. The hot tub with a roof was a fantastic treat, and we spent hours relaxing there. The kitchen was fully equipped, making meal prep a breeze, and the cosy living/dining area and bedrooms created such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The pub at the holiday park was a brilliant surprise and a huge added bonus, as we didn’t even realise it was there—what a delight! The thoughtful gift baskets upon arrival were an unexpected and lovely touch. Everything was spot-on, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you for an unforgettable weekend!

Teesdale Cheesemakers Glamping Ash

KerryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great last minute weekend away decision! We have had a great time. Friendly and helpful hosts. The cabin was warm and cozy. Bed was comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. Our Cocker Spaniel loved the field and woods next door to explore and enjoyed her treat from Allison when we arrived. Spotted the local barn owl which would swoop by the cabin each evening. We also visited the cafe and bought some super tasty cheeses and the sausages were top notch. Will definitely be back!!!! :-)

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fantastic time staying here with our two children! It was a very last minute booking so wasnt sure what to expect. The lodge is lovely and homey with the outside area and hot tub looking onto a stream which is really nice. We were even lucky enought to see 3 deers roaming opposite us on the other end of the stream on our last night. Theres an on site park just around the corner from the lodge for the kids and the zoo is just up the road! We will 100% be back here. Thankyou for a lovely stay

The Fell Hideaways were perfect for our get away. Ideally located for the various Roman Forts and Hadrians Wall. The place itself was peaceful, with the four pods well spaced apart - privacy was assured. It was clean and our hosts brilliantly responsive. I would highly recommend.

The Ascot by North Shacks

JaciRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed for 4 lovely nights in this very clean and very well presented holiday home, which had everything you needed for your stay including a welcome pack. The campsite is beautiful and set in a secluded woodlands area near Hexham with plenty of dog friendly walks including a forest trail which were great for our dog. The site was well run with a bar/restaurant. There are wild rabbits roaming the site which are lovely to watch. Ashley was a great host with great communication from start to finish. We would definitely return if we are ever staying in the area again and would recommend to others.

Orchid meadows retreat

NaomiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jamie quickly notified us of a change in amenities so we would be prepared upon arrival. When the oven was not working, he was quick to respond and gave us alternative options. I was concerned and prepared that it might smell and be a bit dirty as I know he allows guests to bring pets but honestly, you would never know any pets stayed there with guests as it was clean and there were no traces. Would happily stay there again or recommend to others.

Beautiful Van - 30m From Dog Friendly Beach

VictoriaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
When I first walked into the caravan I think my first words were "wow this is amazing" and I was beaming with joy from how happy the place made me. Danielle and Micky have put so much effort in to make the caravan homely. They have literally thought of everything you could need for your holiday. You can tell they really care about the guests having a really good holiday in their caravan and as a family, we felt really cared for and thought of from the little touches that were there. The kids were so excited that there was an Xbox too😆 My 7 year old son kept commenting how it's the best caravan ever and way better than the other one we stayed in. He said his bed was comfier than his one at home 😂 and my 9 Yr old was asleep within 10 mins which is unheard of.. so I now have my work cut out improving their own beds!! 100% recommended this place. Nothing negative to say at all. Thanks so much Danielle and Micky 😊

Coastal caravan, lovely sea view

SimonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great place to stay. As you walked in, it felt like an amazing apartment by the sea, not a caravan. It was all set out beautifully with everything you may need, with additional touches like sweets for the kids and wine for us. There was even additional items in the bathroom to make our stay feel like home. The kitchen had all amenities you may need with even an air fryer and coffee machine. Cupboards had all those pantry items such as oil available which made making meals so much easier. Being by the sea and close to all the sites, it was a great location to explore Northumberland. Highly recommend staying here and we would love to come back one day.

Highly recommend!! We booked for 2 nights for bank holiday weekend very last minute for my wife and 3 kids. Spoke directly to the owner Lisa for our arrival, for fobs keys etc! Totally taking aback she was very welcoming kind, down to earth one of us haha! Caravan was absolutely nipping clean with games for the children and plenty information about activities and places to go including takeouts and restaurants! Lisa kindly dropped us fresh eggs from hens the following morning with colouring pads for our toddler's along with a toy for our baby! Extremely generous! I definitely can't forget to mention that the beds are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in at any caravan!! From the pillows and she to the quilts covers very luxurious! The caravan has everything a family needs plus free Wi-Fi Netflix and several apps!! I can not recommend this caravan enough! We definitely made a new friend and i can't wait to return! Thank you Lisa for everything! Our stay was like home from home xx
