Ten minutes by car to the Elbe beach, a quarter of an hour to the idyllic Stade, a good hour to Hamburg - with separate access, private balcony and seating in the garden. Most of the furniture comes from antique or junk, yet the apartment and kitchen are state-of-the-art equipped (smart TV, Wi-Fi, induction stove, dishwasher, etc.).

Horst's time out

My time-out Horst stands for real picture book country life. There are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields nearby. And the tranquility, of course. The Elbe and the dyke can be reached in 15-20 min. by car. Here you will find a real beach and a delicious snack and suitable refreshment in summer. You can also reach Hamburg in 30 minutes. In about 3 km. Distance is the Horster train stop. There is a parking space and bicycle parking spaces.

A supermarket is a 10-minute walk away, and the nearest bus stop is 3 minutes away. By bus and train or by car, you can reach Hamburg in about 40 minutes. The apartment offers 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom, a kitchen-living room and a spacious hallway. Stable fiber optic network is available.

Our apartment is located in the beautiful Alten Land, near the Lühe pier (about 15min walk over the dike). Stade, Finkenwerder, Buxtehude and Hamburg (45min.) are easily accessible by car. But also as a day trip by bike to explore well. You will love my accommodation because of the scenic location, the proximity to the water and the city of Hamburg. At the end of a short cul-de-sac, lies the house of the hosts of the small apartment, which has been built at right angles to the house. So I found the name "Swallow's Nest" just right for the small, cozy and quiet apartment. It can be reached via its own separate entrance at ground level from the carport parking lot. On sunny days, breakfast at the goldfish and water lily pond in a very specially landscaped garden.
