Family-friendly vacation rentals in Napa Valley

This property is amazing in every way. There’s a view from the ocean from almost every room, beautiful tile work and gorgeous, well appointed bathrooms. A sauna and extra hot hot tub. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The house itself is beautiful with private spaces, but also a large living room where everyone can gather around a beautiful tiled potbelly fireplace. It’s a short walk to the beach through a charming neighborhood. The host Rebekah was very communicative and generous, allowed us flexible, check-in and check out. I will 100% be staying here again.

Linda’s home in Glen Ellen was perfect! We were minutes from some great wineries and walking distance into town (restaurants, grocery store, bar, etc). The house is so inviting, we spent time reading, relaxing, and enjoying the backyard. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect stay! This Napa home is in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood but just a short walk to downtown—best of both worlds. The location couldn’t be better: close driving distance to all the local vineyards and wineries, making it a fantastic home base for exploring wine country. The house itself was spotless—immaculately clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. Whether you’re traveling with family or a group of friends, this place is ideal. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

We found just what we were looking for; a peaceful and private cabin near the Russian River and with a lot of style and soul to boot. The house was very clean, comfortable and provided some sweet outdoor spaces for dining and lounging. With the heavy vegetation growing below, we didn't have a view of the river, but it was just a quick stroll away. The only downside I can think of is traffic noise along a semi-busy road that's nearby. But it wasn't a buzzkill and we enjoyed the experience thoroughly. We hope to return soon.

Ryan and James were available and responsive. The cottage was well appointed and immaculate. It was obvious that quite a bit of thought went into the amenities and decor. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The views! Looking over the Russian River where it empties into the Pacific Ocean was awesome! We will be back.

I almost don't want to tell you how good this place is, so we can rent it again sometime. :-) But it's that good. We visited over spring break with our daughters, eight and 11, and had one of the most amazing stays we've ever had at an Airbnb. The home, the land, the pool, and the local area are all 100% amazing. And the sunsets. You know how you sometimes stay at Airbnb's where you feel like the hosts did the bare minimum to qualify to list it? This is *not* that place. There is everything you need and more. This was the perfect place for our friends/family gathering! We spent a long weekend in Sonoma to do some wine tasting and gather for a birthday/Father’s Day celebration. The house is beyond beautiful and you can tell Nancy takes wonderful care of the interior and outside spaces. Beds were comfortable and the game room was such a blast! The kitchen is also fully stocked with everything you need to cook (we made several breakfasts and a lovely dinner and there was nothing we were left wanting in terms of utensils/dishware/etc). The house is nestled right into the hills and is just teeming with birds and other critters which made great morning coffee companions. Quiet and secluded. Nancy was a phenomenal host - she was quick to respond and made our stay incredibly relaxing. We felt so welcomed! We will definitely be back for another stay! Thank you again Nancy and Co 😊

This place is an oasis away from home, right on the water, beautiful scenery, fabulous walk right down to the river.

This was an eccentric and super cute Airbnb! Between a full stocked kitchen, the easy access, the comfortable beds and pillows, and the huge TV. It made our stay extremely comfortable. The owner was very responsive and accommodating every step of the way.

The view is spectacular in this lovely private location. It's off the beaten path, but if you have a car, it's a wonderful place to stay.

Lisa was a great communicator...huge help when you're unfamiliar with the area. The flat was definitely "sun-drenched" as advertised. It's elevated above street level, so had a private feel in general. Great lower patio area surrounded by gardens with Adirondack chairs and fire pit. Candles in lieu of fire was a smart move! Would definitely stay there again. Only drawback for us was that we are used to a roomy king size bed, but that''s personal preference. Thanks Lisa, for sharing with us!

Comfortable, full of all amenities, beautiful landscape and outdoor space and perfectly located to all things wine country. Kerstin and David provide a home away from home for their guests and were wonderful hosts. Communication was clear and kind. Thoughtfulness was put into all aspects of what the home provides, just like you would have at your house. We loved the neighborhood and its proximity to Sonoma and Napa. After days out exploring and tasting wine, it was nice to come back to such a comfortable home. We would definitely choose again if we are so lucky to return.

Amazing host; will be back!

We had a fantastic time at Christina's place in Sonoma. It was our second time staying at this place, so we knew what to expect. There was a slight glitch getting in the front door, but Christina was immediately available by text and had us taken care of in no time. All in all we loved the house and Christina was a wonderful host.

We had a wonderful “girls trip” and stayed at Debra’s cottage. It was located in the Silverado Resort and was close to everything! Debra is an amazing and thoughtful host. She had breakfast bars, yogurts, water, juice, coffee and creamer and a bottle of wine waiting for us. She was communicative and wanted to ensure we were comfortable and content. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Napa. We are already planning our next trip and definitely want to stay at Debra’s again!

We had a great stay at this spacious and well-equipped home in Sonoma! The house had everything we needed, and the outdoor space was a definite highlight—clean, warm pool and a beautiful area to relax in. Check-in was super easy, and the door code worked without any issues. The location was perfect for our trip—we used a local driving service to take us to wineries in Napa, which worked out really well. A few small things to note: the beds weren’t the most comfortable, and one of the twin beds was pretty squeaky. We also would’ve appreciated more towels since there were four of us. The en-suite shower could use some attention—it’s older and came across a bit dingy. Overall, it was a solid stay and we’d definitely consider coming back!

I loved this place. It was beautifully decorated and had amazing views. The pool was an added benefit on hot days! It’s somewhat small for a group because it only has one bedroom but still worth the experience.

This was such a beautiful place to stay. We came for a bachelorette weekend and it was the perfect home base for our events! It was close to restaurants, grocery stores and wineries! My favorite part of the house was the garden and outdoor seating area where I hosted an italian inspired dinner complete with lemons and herbs from the garden! Jennifer was very responsive and even called me before we left to make sure I had the dishes I needed for the dinner. Thank you!

We loved staying at the Masia. It is a completely relaxing setting in Cazadero, perfect for a family vacation. We especially enjoyed the sounds of the creek, swimming in the pool, playing foosball and watching movies together in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked and thoughtfully provisioned. Sam was above and beyond helpful and responsive.
