Family-friendly vacation rentals in Napa County

We absolutely loved Studio B!! The studio is in the perfect location, walkable to downtown shops and restaurants. Having a morning coffee in the hot tub under the redwoods followed by an outdoor shower was the best start to each day. Of note - they do suggest only one person showering inside at a time as multiple in a row will likely run out of hot water due to the water tank. The three of us never showered inside anyway!! Also, the upstairs loft is lovely but only accessible by a ladder. The ladder is very sturdy, with wide steps but you do need to come down them backwards which I wasn't comfortable with (due to my own recent injury) so just wanted to give a fair warning on that. Overall, the place was amazing and would absolutely stay again. The only disappointment was not getting to meet little Hazel!!!

We enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious and just as pictured. Enjoyed the backyard and jacuzzi. Would stay again if in town!

This house had the perfect layout. It boasts an open concept living area, dining room, and kitchen, with the primary bedroom at one end and the other two at the other end. It was so clean that we didn't mind letting our infant crawl on the floors. Probably the best part was the beautiful backyard complete with a deck, hammock, and hot tub! The only downside was the walking distance to restaurants and shopping, as we were expecting the square to be closer.

Absolutely perfect stay! This Napa home is in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood but just a short walk to downtown—best of both worlds. The location couldn’t be better: close driving distance to all the local vineyards and wineries, making it a fantastic home base for exploring wine country. The house itself was spotless—immaculately clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. Whether you’re traveling with family or a group of friends, this place is ideal. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

the house is lovely, hot tub and game room are top notch! I think the welcome packet got lost between a previous guest and our stay, but Raemy answered all questions very quickly. Views are truly amazing!

The home was even more beautiful in person and so peaceful! Kenwood was the perfect location to explore Sonoma wine country. There are multiple vineyards walking distance or <10 minute drive away. Some favorite walking distance things were VJB cellars for lunch and a tasting, salt and stone for dinner and pillow fight coffee for breakfast/coffee in the mornings. The master bedroom setup was perfect for our 9 month old since it has an attached nook with a closed door for her and they even provided a comfortable pack and play for her to sleep on. Backyard was beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub briefly but unfortunately mosquitos prevented us from hanging out there too much. Overall it was a 10/10 experience and we hope to stay again in the future.

Comfortable, full of all amenities, beautiful landscape and outdoor space and perfectly located to all things wine country. Kerstin and David provide a home away from home for their guests and were wonderful hosts. Communication was clear and kind. Thoughtfulness was put into all aspects of what the home provides, just like you would have at your house. We loved the neighborhood and its proximity to Sonoma and Napa. After days out exploring and tasting wine, it was nice to come back to such a comfortable home. We would definitely choose again if we are so lucky to return.

What a beautiful place to stay! It was very convenient, especially getting to the wineries around Kenwood. It was just a quick drive away from Santa Rosa and maybe a 45-minute trip over to the Napa region. Amenities were well stocked, and we felt right at home. If you have some mobility challenges, the stairs up from the driveway can be a little tough. There are about three steps up that do not have a rail.

A fabulous stay in Sonoma/ Napa area for long weekend with family. Incredible home! Close to adorable shops and great restaurants and only 30 minutes from downtown Napa. Owner very communicative always makes any guest feel special. Would highly recommend.

Linda’s home in Glen Ellen was perfect! We were minutes from some great wineries and walking distance into town (restaurants, grocery store, bar, etc). The house is so inviting, we spent time reading, relaxing, and enjoying the backyard. We’ll definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect place for our friends/family gathering! We spent a long weekend in Sonoma to do some wine tasting and gather for a birthday/Father’s Day celebration. The house is beyond beautiful and you can tell Nancy takes wonderful care of the interior and outside spaces. Beds were comfortable and the game room was such a blast! The kitchen is also fully stocked with everything you need to cook (we made several breakfasts and a lovely dinner and there was nothing we were left wanting in terms of utensils/dishware/etc). The house is nestled right into the hills and is just teeming with birds and other critters which made great morning coffee companions. Quiet and secluded. Nancy was a phenomenal host - she was quick to respond and made our stay incredibly relaxing. We felt so welcomed! We will definitely be back for another stay! Thank you again Nancy and Co 😊

This was an eccentric and super cute Airbnb! Between a full stocked kitchen, the easy access, the comfortable beds and pillows, and the huge TV. It made our stay extremely comfortable. The owner was very responsive and accommodating every step of the way.

The view is spectacular in this lovely private location. It's off the beaten path, but if you have a car, it's a wonderful place to stay.

The little yellow house was perfect for two people and a lovely home away from home. It was situated in a nice quiet neighborhood and walking distance to the Oxbow Market and downtown Napa. It was also perfectly located for touring the wineries of the Napa Valley.

Virginia and Rita’s place was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect sanctuary for our stay in Napa with our family. Our baby and dog loved the backyard!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip. It was the perfect place, Kathy was very friendly and gave us so many recommendations around town to check out! The pool and hot tub were very clean and the perfect temperature. She even gave us a welcome bottle of wine and breakfast goodies! Definitely would recommend staying here to all my friends and family.

We had a fantastic time at Christina's place in Sonoma. It was our second time staying at this place, so we knew what to expect. There was a slight glitch getting in the front door, but Christina was immediately available by text and had us taken care of in no time. All in all we loved the house and Christina was a wonderful host.

We had a wonderful “girls trip” and stayed at Debra’s cottage. It was located in the Silverado Resort and was close to everything! Debra is an amazing and thoughtful host. She had breakfast bars, yogurts, water, juice, coffee and creamer and a bottle of wine waiting for us. She was communicative and wanted to ensure we were comfortable and content. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Napa. We are already planning our next trip and definitely want to stay at Debra’s again!

We had a great stay at this spacious and well-equipped home in Sonoma! The house had everything we needed, and the outdoor space was a definite highlight—clean, warm pool and a beautiful area to relax in. Check-in was super easy, and the door code worked without any issues. The location was perfect for our trip—we used a local driving service to take us to wineries in Napa, which worked out really well. A few small things to note: the beds weren’t the most comfortable, and one of the twin beds was pretty squeaky. We also would’ve appreciated more towels since there were four of us. The en-suite shower could use some attention—it’s older and came across a bit dingy. Overall, it was a solid stay and we’d definitely consider coming back!

My family had a great stay at Hafeez's place. The space was exactly as described and provided a private sanctuary at the end of the day of activities. The pool was pristine, perfect for all ages to enjoy, and lots of outdoor seating allowed everyone to be together. The kitchen/dining area provided plenty of space for eating and kids to play. The location was convenient; downtown Sonoma is ~10 minutes by car, and there are plenty of wineries and restaurants within a 15 minute drive. Muir woods was about 1 hour drive.

I’ve been eyeing Cena and Roger’s place for well over a year and had tried to book another time when it wasn’t available. This year I finally was able to stay and I honestly didn’t want to leave. What a special, unbelievably delightful stay it was. I’m a huge nature nerd and the amount of flowers and greenery made it feel like Hawaii. Tropical paradise. Complete with birds and lizards flirting about. This trip I was in town mostly for Bottlerock but I ended up just lounging around most of my mornings, reading and slowly getting ready for the day. It was hard to leave to go out every day because the property is that peaceful and beautiful. I am so thankful I got to enjoy this stunning space and cannot wait to hopefully stay there again. Roger and Cena are lovely, sweet people. They’ve made this their own little slice of heaven, which they so graciously share with others. Fabulous experience. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Chantelle's home. The location is ideal--tucked away on a quiet street and only 5 minutes away from Sonoma Square. We absolutely plan to rent her home again--it's perfect!
