"Oki-na Genkan" is a traditional Japanese house located in a quiet rural area of Shinshu, where you can spend a relaxing time. Only one group per day is allowed. You can see the traditional rice terraces in front of you, the magnificent views of the Southern and Central Alps to the east and west, and thousands of beautiful stars shining at night. There is also a cafe where you can drink tea. (During business hours) There is also a regular children's cafeteria, which serves as a meeting place for locals. Breakfast is homemade rice, miso, soy sauce, and dishes made with local organic vegetables. Children are more than welcome. The garden has a variety of plants and is spacious enough to run around. There is a beautiful river with wild fireflies right nearby. You can go directly to the river in your swimsuit. It's private and hard to find, but I can show you the way. The Tenryu River flows through the middle of Nakagawa village, and there are many attractive tourist spots and specialty products. Please let me know if you have any requests, such as agricultural experiences, activities, moving, sightseeing, etc., and I can provide and introduce them. The "Big Front Door" is an old and new inn where you can feel the season with all five senses. We'll help make your trip the best.

The entire house is a private room that was renovated by the owner himself. It is a renovated space attached to an old house built 70 years ago. All natural wool insulation is covered in ceilings, walls, and floors. The ceiling, some of the walls are Tenryu cedar, the walls are Spanish stucco, the floor is made of Tenryu cedar and domestic Igusa tatami mats, and the space is mostly made of natural materials from the bottom to the finish.
