Grassland, birds, and architecture White Bird Rest Area

At an altitude of about 1000 meters at Kobozawa at the southern foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains. This is a private rental accommodation where you can enjoy the wild meadows and forests that spread from the southern end of the residential area, the mountain views, and the starry sky I saw a white rabbit spread its wings and fly up from the meadow. And because the deep white Heike form of the eaves looks like a bird, it was named "WHITE BIRD", and a mural of birds flying in flocks on the wall was painted The building is a unique structure with a central core, large windows on the walls, and an umbrella-like eaves. The bedroom, living room, and kitchen are arranged around the washroom, and each room is gently connected. And the large and small windows everywhere are like picture frames that hold the scenery. From the large window in front of the dining room, you can see the meadows and forests, and on clear days, the Southern Alps The deck goes around the building in a U-shape. I want you to feel the natural wind and light of the southern foothills. The east wing of the garden can be used as an outdoor living room. You might even see birds and wild deer coming to the spring water there This is an inn at the boundary between human life and nature * The capacity is 4 people, but for adults only, it should be no more than 3 people * The displayed price is for up to 2 people, and 10,000 yen will be added for each additional person

[Manshu] This price for 2 people! An old private house in the castle town of Iwamura. How about renting and dressing in a retro kimono? (Reservation required)

This is a calm castle town where people still live today. Feel the elegance and forget your busy daily life in a room in a spacious and quiet old house. This is the location of the movie "The Father of the Galaxy Railroad", which was released in May 2023. Manshō Shōten also appears in the movie. The scene in the used bookstore in "Yakusho Koji-san" was filmed at this inn. You can walk or drive to the Iwamura Castle site. Please come and imagine what kind of battles took place here. There aren't as many tourists as in other tourist destinations, so you can enjoy the castle town life to yourself. Iwamura fans keep coming. You will be surprised by the calm and quiet after 4 pm. Walking along the main street at night, you'll see a row of lanterns that look like paper lanterns, and it's very magical. On the day of the "summer solstice", the sunset falls straight down the street, and you can see a very beautiful view. (It depends on the weather, but it's around 6:30 pm for about a week around mid-June every year) We also operate a retro kimono rental and dressing service in this building. Please make a reservation if you would like to wear a kimono. Guests staying at the property will receive a discounted price. There is also a backyard and a storehouse at the back of the building, so you might feel like a ninja (^ - ^)

Kiso Valley, Nagano Prefecture | A quiet, privately rented accommodation built in 1931

Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period. It was built in 1931 in this town, which has been selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings and still has lacquerware shops. Our house is available for rent as an entire house, limited to one group per day, without meals. It takes a little time to get around, and there is no supermarket or convenience store in this area, but I think that's why this place has a quietness and a casual, simple beauty to everyday life.It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. There are no screen doors in this old house in the valley of the mountains, so in the warm season, wildlife may come in.The 95-year-old building is not polished to a high shine down to the last detail. We are preparing to welcome you as clean as possible, but we would appreciate it if you could come with a big heart. We use the accommodation fees we receive from guests to repair the building, and I would like to start by taking care of this wonderful house for about 20 years so that it can be passed on to the next generation.
