Picturesque and historic farmhouse that felt like the middle of nowhere but close enough to Castlemaine and Bendigo. Amazing stargazing with very little light pollution and a comfortable home with everything needed. Will come back.

Kiki's Farmhouse, Great Western & Grampians Region

TomRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Just a perfect little place for a quick stopover, and some exciting scenery and animals to keep the kids entertained in the morning. We were greeted on arrival by the friendly old farm dog, who even checked up on us the next morning with lovely pats. The extra breakfast ammenities were lovely. Proper ground coffee to percolate and cute little cereals that the kids loved. Would recommend, especially for families like ours (2 kids; 2 and 5 years)

Bruce was extremely friendly towards us. He greeted us the first time we arrived and immediately started giving us recommendations on what to do around the area. Melinda was also kind enough to provide us with home-baked bread and home-made jam alongside it. It was delicious, we love the lovely hospitality provided by the couple.

Cute bungalow with a pretty complete kitchen. Very quiet location and the property is beautiful. Loved the fire - made the evenings toasty warm. Please note that the location is about 40-45mins from Myrtleford, and 55mins to Bright so a bit further than in description. But we still loved our stay.

Honeysuckle Farm | Luxury Farm Stay 1hr from Melb

AlexandraRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Emily and Aaron were fantastic hosts and the property was everything and more than we had hoped for. We enjoyed feeding their goats and petting their gorgeous dog during our stay. The nights sky was clear and full or the most beautiful stars. The property was stunning and the added touches of sourdough and eggs made our mornings perfect. We were close enough to visit Castlemaine for massages, Daylesford for coffee and shopping, Kyneton for shopping and food and Trentham for delicious dinners and sightseeing. We would love to return again and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful get away. You can do as much or as little as you want to during your stay.

The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

JiaShanRating, 5 stars6 days ago
It was a super functional house, with various delightful surprises!! The actual place was even better than the pictures!! Although winter, it was cozy warm with more than enough woodblock supply. It must be so much hard work to chop all these blocks either manual or mechanicals. Besides the fireplace, there were heaters in every space. It was warm in every corner. Love the old record player with fantastic modern sound amplifier. Fire place, music, loft, candles, wine and food straight out of the professional commercial kitchen, it was a beautiful country night…! There were many functional sitting areas inside and outdoor. We enjoyed the sunset and afternoon tea at the yard, watching cows chillax with us. Also it happened that Anneke was making some apple tart, we were so blessed to have some most heart melting apple tart slices…!! The bath and shower was beautiful too…!! We have to say the son of the owner is a talented builder, who created such an enjoyable space for many!

This is the most perfect farm stay. The lodge was secluded and very cosy. It was lovely to have a morning coffee on the couch overlooking the hills and watching the cows and alpacas. We were obsessed with the heated flooring in the bathroom 😂. The wind was quite strong but felt warm and cosy inside. Highly recommend

From a warm welcome by the hosts, to a beautiful wine (supplied + made by the hosts), enjoying this by the fireplace that was elegantly prepared prior to our arrival, to the horizon of vineyards, private cellars, wine tour + taste testing by Scotty the host with the most, the gorgeous two border collies that live on the property saying hi, the plunge pool, the golf tee at the top of the hill and the simple cleanliness of the BNB itself. There was nothing this BNB did not have. Thank you so much for the stay. I have fallen in love with Tanunda. I will definitely be back!

Entire House -The Kingsley, King Valley

BridgetteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had the best stay at The Kingsley! Our family of 7 adults stayed to celebrate my Mum’s 60th Birthday. The house was very comfortable, warm & beautifully furnished. The layout was spacious & perfect for our family. We were spoilt with the underfloor heating in the bathrooms! On arrival we were treated with some breakfast goods & a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, thoroughly enjoyed! The kitchen was very well equipped, including spices & cookbooks. The beds were comfortable & cosy. Outside, the grounds were very well kept, including a fire pit. Both the wood fire inside & the fire pit had everything needed to get them started. Thanks for a great stay!

Macedon Ranges - Fellcroft Farmstay - Wren

FelicityRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This Farmstay was one of our favourite places that we have stayed not only in Victoria but across the various states and countries to which we have travelled. Veronica has really thought through the guest experience and has everything covered that you could think of. The surrounds and views are stunning, the interior of the property is so well done and the animals amazing (bird life, farm animals and native wildlife (especially Wally the wombat)). If anything, the property was better than expected from the photos. Veronica was the perfect balance of helpful and available, whilst respecting our privacy. It is the sort of place where you are central enough to many places to keep you busy or you can be content just staying at the property, doing very little and enjoying the spa bath. We are already planning our next visit for later this year!
