Our cosy 2 Bedroom Shouse on 5 Acres is located just 1.5km to Mansfield town. Located on top of the hill with beautiful views, perfect place to relax and unwind. We welcome most Pets to join you, offering an adjacent secure yard. If inside we ask they are not left inside alone , sit on the couches / beds and when outside, animals must be on lead as our farm animals are near by. This property is on the Goldfields walking track and mountain bike track. It is in Creswick which is part of the central highlands goldfields. It is 20 kms from Ballarat and Sovereign Hill and 25kms from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. It is close to town. You can walk to the supermarket, patisserie, 2 hotels, the wine bar, museum and the other amenities. The walking track goes to St George’s lake in the Wombat Forest. There are many birds; cockatoos, rosellas, kookaburras in the garden.

Just 10 minutes drive from Mathoura, 40 minutes to the bustling tourist hubs of Echuca/Moama, 30 minutes to the Ute Muster Capital, Deniliquin and 2 kms from the amazing Timbercutter cafe bar function venue. The Hut is surrounded by nature, expect kangaroos and birdlife at your door.

Our atmospheric cabin sits amongst the gum trees, surrounded by birdsong. Named after the Gububurras (Kookaburras) that share the property with us, it's only ten minutes walk to the Mount Macedon village for coffee or a short drive to find wineries, village markets and forest walking trails. Alternatively in the cooler months you can curl up by the fire and read or enjoy the view from the terrace by the fire pit. The calming effect of Guruburra on our guests is almost immediately
