House vacation rentals in Murray River

Absolutely stunning views, you walk outside the sliding doors that overlooked the pool and it is breathtaking. The house was in very clean condition. I was able to take my children to the stables that’s on the property to feed the horses, donkeys and dogs. The kangaroos came to the front of the property each morning. Honestly a 10/10. Hosts were very helpful too, were super responsive and helped me find a private chef that came out to the property. Thanks again

Our stay with friends was easy from start to finish. The home comfortably accomodate six friends and was very clean and pleasant to spend a couple of days in. Our host was attentive without being obtrusive and assisted with local dining suggestions. We will definitely stay again and recommend to other friends.

Absolutely loved staying here! Such a great home, and had everything we could need. Beds were comfy and warm!! Ducted heating, and the lounge fire was amazing. The cubby house, so many toys outside - and toys inside, with board games, was amazing. So great staying at an Airbnb that caters to kids too. The host was amazing, very friendly, kind and helpful. Absolutely would recommend, and would love to stay again!!

Nigel's place was fantastic. Everything about the property was great. Very clean and everything worked perfectly. The view across the paddock was great and the kids had an amazing time exploring the property and trying to spot the kangaroos. We took our telescopes with us and the night star gazing was one of the best we've seen. Highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s great for a retreat from the hustling and bustling life, and transport you back into nature. It’s very secluded, but it is meant to be the way it is. A Stonehill retreat. If you are looking for something that is near town, this is not for you. But if you are looking for a tranquil, peaceful place, I would recommend it 200%! Jacqui was also extremely helpful in her travel directions, and took extra effort to provide us with some oil when we ran out. Thanks much!

The photos of this place don't do it justice. It's really lovely and decorated so tastefully. The check in instructions were clear and easy, and our hosts were lovely and kind. Absolutely incredible stay! This property is truly something special—every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the stylish decor to the well-stocked amenities. It felt like a true escape, a world away from the everyday hustle even though we were only 3.5 hrs from Melbourne. Wish we had stayed an extra night The setting was peaceful and private, and the home itself was absolutely beautiful. We left feeling completely refreshed and hope to return next year. Katrina was very responsive to messages and the perfect host. Highly recommend!

The pictures didn’t do the place justice, it’s even better in reality. The place is charmingly decorated and has all the amenities needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms where beautiful and clean. The fireplace was the cherry on the top.

This was my second stay at Treetops, and it was just as great as the first time. Waking up in the morning with the birds and the light shining through the big round window in the bedroom upstairs was magic. It is a very peaceful environment, the best remedy for recovering from the hectic life in the city. We spent the days bushwalking and exploring the Lerderderg Park and in the evening enjoyed the warmth and coziness of the wood fire stove in the living area. And in addition to all this, we were able to walk to the local coffee shop for a caffein hit....

I had always wanted to visit Beechworth and staying at Ms Martinelli’s place was the perfect opportunity to not only get to see what the district had to offer, it gave us a real taste of the area. Being in the house was like going back in time, and getting a real feeling of being in Beechworth during the Gold Rush and it’s Hey Day. The house is immaculate in its presentation and I was fascinated by the quality period furniture tastefully used throughout the house. There was ample storage space for us to store our things and it was just a short walk to the shops at the top of the hill. The garden was a gorgeous mix of roses, citrus trees and sculpted hedges. We loved our stay there, just right for celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary! Thank you Alex for making us so welcome! Robyn and Madé

My experience with the hosts was excellent and the property was even more beautiful than the photos. The house was huge and everything you could possibly need and want was provided. We arrived to a roaring fire, a fridge stocked with generous breakfast provisions and a freshly baked cake which was a lovely touch. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable and a phone charger provided which was great as I’d forgotten mine! I would highly recommend the property and will definitely be back. The accommodation was cozy, clean, and full of rustic charm. We loved waking up to the sounds of nature and watching the beautiful landscape. The garden around the house and the badminton field was absolutely stunning, we enjoyed both ❤️ Weather your looking for quite retreat or family gateway than this is the perfect choice. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend. Go for it ❤️❤️❤️

Myself and my husband had a very relaxing stay. The accommodation was very clean and bed super comfortable. Loved the outdoor bath and how secluded we felt. Enjoyed watching kangaroos hopping along the top of the hill as we sat on the veranda. Kept nice and warm from the gas patio heater, log fire pit and indoor heater. Everything we needed was provided including a lovely bottle of wine on arrival. Highly recommend for a relaxing and secluded stay without being too far away from civilisation. Thanks guys!

A gorgeous and cosy and restful little place to stay on our travels. The bed was comfortable, the cabin delightful and the goodies in the fridge and on the kitchen bench were very much appreciated. Highly recommend a stay here.

Mandy was a great host to deal with, they offered an early check and very late checkout without us even requesting and also stagnated for a bottle of sparkling and a cheese platter in the fridge for our arrival to celebrate the night before our wedding with the bridal party. The house was very clean and as per the pictures, great location and very close to the shops and an awesome little cafe for coffees too. Would definitely stay here again ☺️

We wanted to have a farm stay baby moon with our four year old before new bubba came along as well as explore some of Bendigo. The whole experience at Bob and Shirley’s place exceeded our expectations - we all had the most wonderful time and they’re both such lovely humans! And their animals (especially Jenny their dog) were all great too! Everything was topped/freshened up everyday (fresh eggs from the chooks, biccies, the fire, towels) and it was such a beautiful location to wake up to as well as walk around in - and being able to see the stars at night time ❤️ we really hope to be back soon! Highly recommended 🥰

nice spot to get away from the rat race. great if you're into star gazing too as part of the night sky reserve. we couldn't get the telescope to work though bit might have needed user error. The space by the river is down a fairly steep track from accom or a 5 min walk back down the road but is nice and sheltered from wind once there, amd there are chairs and canoes down there.. byo shade if in summer. shack is not huge but nice and cosy, loads of extras in the kitchen (inc chocolates😊) and the indoor heating worked well for us. The fencing has a wide gauge on it and quite a few spaces a smaller dog can escape, so if you have an escapologist dog maybe bring a long lead. We walked up the track at the back of the accom (turn left ) . Stunning view from the top, esp sunset and only 10 minute walk.

We had a great stay. Clean, spacious, easy to use kitchen, wonderful hot water system, VERY comfortable bed, easy walk to shops and eateries. TV a good size and despite no WIFI we could access our Netflix account. Automated front gate Leigh communicated about prior, so all organised on arrival. Wonderful to have jetty at rear for boat mooring. Leigh was an easy host to communicate with. Would highly recommend. We were a couple, but two couples or a family would fit comfortably in this house. NB Stairs to climb.
