Cottage by the Lake

Set on 50 acres of farmland, this unique property boasts 2 large lakes with row boats - kayaks and beautiful gardens, abundance of wildlife and a serene and peaceful ambience. Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

The Viscount Royal Caravan 1974 is a huge (9 metre) & has been rejuvenated. Modern but with a fab 70’s atmosphere. It sits under a huge shed with carport, deck & overlooks farmland & bush. It is 50 metres from our old house. Daylesford is 7 minutes away with excellent cafes, restaurants, shops & well-being indulgences. Wineries & galleries are plentiful within a small radius. The “Swiss Mountain Hotel”, our local, has good food, a nice atmosphere & is only 5 minutes to the west in Blampied.

You'll be Udder-ly amazed that this completely renovated home was once a fully functioning Dairy. Spacious yet cozy open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Vaulted timber ceilings and original steel rafters. The kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher, oven and coffee machine. What was once our tiny family home now sits on a little farm for you to enjoy, looking over the orchard and forest. Your own driveway will lead you out to the little house, past our private residence and orchard. You can rest on the deck, lay on the grass or soak in the tub. With no WiFi or TV you can disconnect for a while and let the surrounds recharge you. Wander with the chickens in the orchard, take yourself out into the forest or explore the Yarra Valley.
