Alexandra is friendly host. We stayed 2 night, location is great, just 1 hour to Salzburg or Hallstatt. Place has private covered parking. Everything went fine

Lovely spot to enjoy exploring Fuschl am see and the surrounding towns/ lakes. Right on the bus route and the 'guest mobility ticket' means all your bus travel is already included. The included card for the local sports centre/ leisure centre (which is less than a 10 min walk) was fantastic. It is a great place to enjoy outdoor swimming and paddle boarding. We are hoping to return again in the future.

I spent two wonderful weeks here with my boyfriend at the end of the ski season. Despite many, due to company holidays, closed shops and restaurants, we had a great time. The entire area, including Mauterndorf itself, is fantastically beautiful and simply invites you to relax and shut down. The apartment is perfect for 2 people, extremely clean and well maintained, very lovingly furnished. You have everything you need. Communication with Michael and his team is smooth and the lockbox makes checking in and out very pleasant. We will be happy to come back!

The place is great for skiers and definitely for hiking in the summer. The arrangement was absolutely great and everything as agreed. It was very nice to have pastries, milk, coffee, and tea available. Basic spices salt, pepper and sugar as well. All I have to point out is paid parking. It would look much more welcoming if the price was higher and there wasn't a car.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Very cozy and within easy driving distance of our destinations. Good recommendations for local activities and restaurants. We would love to come back!

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The place itself is very nice, clean, and peaceful. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It's located in a convenient spot, close to all the attractions and places we had planned to visit, which made getting around really easy. The host was also excellent, very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or requests we had.

Stunning location and beautiful house and space. Car parking. Excellent hosts, especially as we had a flight delay. The views and mountainous countryside were vast. Easy access to Salzburg and Berchtesgaden areas. Ensure familiarity with garbage requirements and tourist tax payments. Be aware of access should heavy snow fall. Need a 4x4 car at least. Would highly recommend overall, as this is a unique place in an amazing location. Thank you Nina and Alexander.

If you want an authentic Austrian countryside experience while you travel, look no further. Great location in the countryside outside of Salzburg. Highly recommend if you do stay here to have your own personal vehicle as it’s a ways outside of town. So quaint and beautiful. Fritz was very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of outlets throughout the house for all your devices to charge. Couches and beds were comfortable. Mix matched towels, cups and cutlery however everything had its own charm to it. The washing machine is smaller than we’re used to using although it did a great job washing our clothes. Nice big shower with plenty of water pressure. There is an overnight accommodation tax (tourist tax) imposed by Austria apart from the Airbnb fees. While we were there (June 2025), it was €2,50 per person, per night although the tax amount can fluctuate. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fritz’s place and would recommend it to others.

Nice cozy rustic and authentic hunters cabin. Inside was very sweet, and authentic. Good comfy beds. Modern Kitchen was working well 😌 the Zirbenstube was amazing. Bath was abit older, but worked well: always warm water. Also the BBQ was nice. You could easily walk to the village center. Thanks! 🙏 will come again

Snezana-Mile is an amazing host who was very responsive to our questions (and there were many😊). The accommodation is in a village a short walk from Salzburg, in a nice modern house. It is in a quiet environment, very clean, comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and in addition to the classic amenities, we were delighted with the little things - coffee (and chocolate) capsules, tea, spices, and so on. The bathrooms didn't lack all the necessary toiletries. There was plenty of storage space in the rooms. Also, the fly screens in the windows were pleased. Our group of 8 was very welcoming and comfortable. It is about 20 minutes by bus to the center of Salzburg, Snezana-Mile has also equipped travel tickets. I definitely recommend staying in Au, we'd love to come back again. Snezana-Mile – thanks so much ♥

We enjoyed Barbara's stay very much. Upon arrival Barbara was ready to welcome us. The apartment had exactly what we needed and the area was beautiful! Certainly subject to repetition.

We had a lovely time staying here and exploring Salzburg! It was really easy to find the place and get inside - Ray's instructions were very clear and helpful! It's really easy to get to the city centre and the central train station which meant exploring the city and it's surroundings was simple! Ray was very communicative and ready to answer any questions we had! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again next time we visit Salzburg!

The stay was an absolute dream! The cottage was very tasteful and cozy - the view was magnificent. We felt very comfortable and welcome right from the beginning. Veronika gave us good recommendations and was very kind. Our highlight: the fine guitar sounds we were able to listen to in the morning. We will be happy to come back :)

We were guests at Maria and Josef's for an extended hiking weekend. I can only agree with the previous reviews - we had a wonderful AirBnB experience in the best sense, as it was originally intended! You live on the upper floor of the detached house - enough privacy, but also "family connection"! Maria and Josef have a big heart, are very friendly, open and helpful and gave us great tips for our hikes. The rooms are spacious, super clean, furnished in a traditional style, you have a great view everywhere, the balcony offers space to eat. The location is very quiet and surrounded by nature, yet you can reach the village for shopping or the highway in a few minutes by car and can also reach more distant destinations quickly. There is a lot to explore in the area, from easy walks to challenging summit tours! We felt immediately comfortable and welcome and would come back without hesitation!

We had a wonderful stay in Gmunden. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and perfectly located. Martina & Alex were kind, responsive, and paid great attention to detail. Truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

The apartment is very large and in an incredibly beautiful location. The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils you could need. You can go hiking in the area, Saskia and Arturs know each other well and have lots of helpful tips for things to do. The two were totally friendly and helped us a lot. The apartment is highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable with Daniel and Katrin. The upper floor was available to us alone with a private entrance and had everything you need. The surroundings on the mountain are beautiful and quiet. Katrin is super sweet and cordial and was always easily accessible. We would definitely come back:)

A beautiful apartment on the edge of Fuschl with a great view of the lake! We stayed there with our dog for almost a week and felt very comfortable. The house is quietly located and is the perfect starting point for various excursions in the region. Dog owners will love the green surroundings that invite you to take walks. Very close by is an old mill where you can get fresh, traditionally baked bread once a week by pre-order. We will be happy to come back!

We stayed there for less than a week for training. Very nice bright apartment, everything clean and as described. Nice landlord. There is nothing to complain about :)
