House vacation rentals in Monte Rio

We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Maurine and the hosts of this AirBNB! This house is truly a gem and exceeded our expectations! We loved everything about this property- from the comfortable, homey setting to the beautiful landscaping and outdoor spaces. Directions and communication were clear and guest friendly. On behalf of the 5 of us, on our girls' getaway, we thank you all wholeheartedly and are already planning on returning next April! Thank you for sharing this truly special home with us. It was a perfect 5 star get-away from beginning to end!

This is a great place to stay for a few nights while exploring Healdsburg and Windsor wineries. The surroundings are beautiful and the swimming pool is pristine. Nilus was a responsive host, and we appreciated his hospitality and proactive communication.

We had a wonderful experience having a small family reunion here. We had two older adults who use walkers and a baby, so I wanted to make sure that the house could accommodate all of us. Place was perfect for this with 3 bedrooms on the first floor, and only a couple steps to manage into the front door. Robin and other hosts were really helpful in answering all of my questions prior to the booking (and after). Loved the pool, hot tub and gazebo sitting area. Used the grill for family dinners. Will treasure our memories here!

This Airbnb was AMAZING!!! My friends and i absolutely loved staying here. The location was great for the wineries we went to which were sterling vineyard and Caymus. The only downfall was the pool rules and hours, also no microwave in the home. Either way i would definitely book this airbnb again!

I had a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely beautiful — peaceful, well-maintained, and full of charm. The pool was a lovely spot to relax, and being able to walk through the surrounding vineyards made the experience feel extra special. Everything was thoughtfully documented, which made it easy to settle in and explore. The host’s recommendations were very helpful and much appreciated.

I almost don't want to tell you how good this place is, so we can rent it again sometime. :-) But it's that good. We visited over spring break with our daughters, eight and 11, and had one of the most amazing stays we've ever had at an Airbnb. The home, the land, the pool, and the local area are all 100% amazing. And the sunsets. You know how you sometimes stay at Airbnb's where you feel like the hosts did the bare minimum to qualify to list it? This is *not* that place. There is everything you need and more. Andrew’s house is spectacular. We had such a great time and there was so much space for everyone. The kids loved the pool and we watched the Warriors games in the pool house. The property landscaping was beautiful also. Andrew was a great communicator. I would highly recommend his place for a great getaway.

Great spot! Superb communication took us right to this lovely, peaceful home in the redwoods. Occidental is minutes away and completely charming. The house had everything you need for a fantastic stay, especially the kitchen- everything is exactly where you'd expect to find it. Large spacious Great Room, spotless bathroom, great bed, and charming furnishings. This is not a spot for children or pets which was perfect for us. This place is absolutely amazing! It is very tastefully decorated and you can see the ocean from the deck. We had an amazing stay here. The host has a booklet of food and drink recommendations that we used a lot and every recommendation was excellent. It was the perfect base camp for our beautiful coastal stay.

My family had a great experience. They all felt at home and loved the area. They also loved how quick it was to get down to the river. The house had plenty of space for all of us and sleeping arrangements were prefect. For the adults we really enjoyed the bar area and outdoor patio it was a prefect area for us to relax after a long car ride. I can’t forget to mention the hot tub a prefect way to relax.

We had amazing weekend in the house! The view from the deck is unbeatable and the location is perfect for swimming and so close to town! We would love to stay again!

Our stay was incredible, I truly could go on and on, but this place is a MUST SEE! Russian River is my favorite area and this place being walking distance to the golf course was amazing. Kitchen is so fun to cook in. We spent most of our time outdoors on the HUGE deck. Would absolutely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deja Blu. The location is perfection! Private, with beautiful gardens, only a hop, skip and a jump from the ocean. Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves at night was divine. The home was clean and comfortable, and Barr was a lovely, helpful host. If you are looking to unwind in serenity, I highly recommend this home.

This is a comfortable and fun place to stay that allows both for relaxing and enjoying the river, as well as exploring the area - so much is close by! We really enjoyed our stay.

Cozy place to retreat to for the weekend, nice fenced in yard for my dog (watch out for ticks in the area), and walking distance to the local beach. Great fully equipped kitchen and quiet peaceful nights of sleep. Easy drive to Armstrong Woods, our favorite!

A comfortable home and private setting within an established neighborhood. Just minutes to downtown Guerneville by car and the river is a short walk. The property is well maintained and thoughtfully put together. The hot tub is wonderful after a long day. I appreciate the quick responses to my messages and questions.

Beautiful comfortable house in a lovely redwood forest. Felt so nice being there under the trees. Amazing stay, right by the river and easy access to lots of great hikes and cute Sonoma towns. Loved the hot tub. Great host. Highly recommend.

A treehouse in the woods. Very calming, an easy place to relax.

Wonderful home! Clean rooms, Comfy beds, cool retro bathrooms, hot water always available. We (and the kids especially). lover the warm outdoor shower. The Kitchen is so well equipped but we made most of our meals on the grill on the back deck. We spent days watching and being on the river, fishing from shore, hot tubbing and grilling delicious meals. My 4 year old learned to ride a bike on their quiet street. We biked to Monte Rio beach and Lightwave cafe and skatepark easily (brought our own bikes). We saw a bald eagle and a harbor seal while we floated down the river! Thanks for a great stay, highly recommend. Important to know: all bedrooms have a sky light, that means the kids are up early. We enjoyed the early start, but if you dont then I suggest you bring blackout curtain or tent for the kids

Michael’s place was absolutely gorgeous - tucked away, but a short drive from Johnson Beach. The home itself was beautiful, well stocked, and very comfortable for two families to hang out. A little challenging for a 1-year old (not baby-proofed), but our two 3-year olds had a blast (lots of kids toys to play with and lots of exploring to do). Michael was extremely responsive and very flexible. All in all, highly recommend and would love to be back!
