Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Monte Gordo

We enjoyed a very relaxing and easy 7 days at Marie's house. The place is stunning, even more so than the pictures, and the effort that has gone into maintaining it is evident. Marie was always responsive when we had any questions either about the house or the local area, and waited to meet us after our late night flight, so we wouldn't miss the turning for the house. Getting into Tavira is super easy, the only consideration is that the driveway of the house is long and very bumpy. You don't need a 4x4 or anything, but it was a bit of a surprise the first time we got there! Would very much recommend this place and the local area. Merci, Marie!

We adored Michelle’s property, it was the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind, while having endless fun in the pool and watching the stars on the rooftop! The property is in a beautiful secluded area perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday with privacy, it was very clean, great amenities and the most stunning scenic surroundings to the property with a wonderful pool and dinning area where we have lovely dinners and got ready for evenings out together. Michelle was the most responsive and generous host we have come across who offered suggestions, instructions and help throughout the trip, replying with lightening speed. There is no wonder they’re a super post, if I could rate it 6 stars I would! Amazing.

La ville de Tavira a gardé son authenticité, c'est une ville charmante. Le logement est parfait, il est décoré avec goût et est très propre. Il est très bien situé, à proximité du centre ville. On peut tout faire à pied. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Apartamento confortável e cheio de luz localizado num 1º andar no centro de Tavira. Tudo muito limpo e arrumado. Estacionamento na rua gratuito. Perto de quase tudo - restaurantes, cafés, etc. Tudo se faz a pé. Local algo ruidoso a certas horas. Anfitrião sempre disponível e simpático. Gostamos!

Ons verblijf was fantastisch. De foto’s geven exact weer hoe het er in werkelijkheid uitziet. Iedereen een eigen kamer met een perfecte badkamer. De tuin is enorm en een plaatje. Het zwembad is heerlijk om baantjes te trekken. Ook van de Gym hebben we gebruik gemaakt. Maar het meeste nog van de BBQ om de verse vis te roosteren en buiten te kunnen dineren.

We loved this house. It is beautifully designed and every detail has been properly thought through - from top to bottom. We particularly loved the plunge pool and roof terrace, the two shower rooms, the comfy bed and proximity to the town square (a 5 minute walk). The decoration is modern but Portugese in flavour and there are lots of lovely touches like the wonderful coffee machine, the extensive collection of teas and a welcome bottle of wine. Es war ein schöner Kurztrip nach Ayamonte. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen. Vieles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Mit der Fähre kommt man in wenigen Minuten nach Portugal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke Loli 😀

We had a great stay, it’s a great place for peaceful relaxation. Plenty of outdoor space and the pool is great to cool off in.

We had a perfect week away at this lovely apartment. We were greeted warmly, and our stay was comfortable, with everything we needed. The apartment is just a few minutes walk from the beautiful long beach. There are lots of bars, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, and the day ferry to Spain is only a few miles away. Thank you for the relaxing break.

Sehr schöne helle Wohnung am Rand des Haupttreibens in Tavira. Viele sehr gute Restaurants in 10-15 Minuten prima erreichbar. Der Ort hat (trotz der aktuellen Straßenarbeiten) mit seinem Kopfsteinpflaster in den Gassen einen entspannten Charme. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

A lovely, clean and calm place to stay in a peaceful and naturally beautiful area. Close to all amenities and 5-10 min walk to the dock to catch the boat over to the beach (which takes less than 5 mins itself). Beds are comfortable, and apartment is cool in the heat, and warm in the cold. Also liked the pool area very clean and relaxing too. We loved Cabanas de Tavira and will definitely return.

We’ve not stayed at a better location, highly recommended. Located just a few minutes walk from a world-class beach. A secure location within a complex that allows you to reside with others in the community, while at the same time having privacy. Every convenience and necessity is made available. The kitchen facilities are modern and very complete, all that you may need during an extended visit is provided. Manta Rota is a delightful village, we made many new friends. The hosts, Lucy and Carlos, are welcoming, helpful and friendly. They involved themselves personally to be sure we were comfortable and fully satisfied. They made every effort to ensure our stay was memorable. They have a flair for decoration and delight in creating a chic and upscale ambiance. The cleanliness, quality and decor is first rate. Facilities are modern & in top condition. Description and photos are completely accurate. Heating systems were excellent. We booked to return, which confirms our recommendation.

A lovely apartment in a great location. The views of the harbour from the windows were lovely to wake up to and the roof terrace was superb. This apartment oozes style and every detail is considered for a comfortable stay. We booked this at short notice for us and didn’t really know what to expect about the area, needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. There are an abundance of great restaurants on the doorstep. We took the ferry across to Portugal for 2.5 euros each way. Definitely worth a trip. LPA restaurant was our favourite with excellent food at a reasonable price. I recommend booking early but in all honesty we didn’t have one bad meal in Ayamonte! ☀️

Todo genial. Apartamento amplio y equipado con todo lo necesario para unos días de descanso. La ubicación es buena. Tranquila fuera del centro pero a la vez cercana para llegar a él. José Eduardo muy pendiente todo momento por nuestras peticiones o dudas. Muchas gracias.

Muy buena ubicación, al lado de la playa. El piso es tal y como se describe en el anuncio. La terraza tiene vistas al mar y su anfitrión es muy atento y está pendiente de todo. Gracias por todo.

Steffanie was great at check-in, she met us there early and talked us through the place. Lovely apartment with a great pool that our girls loved even in the cooler weather. The apartment is close to a nice street full of restaurants and bars. We took a taxi to Tavira a few times as we loved exploring there.

Maria was a great host and so helpful with anything requested. We had an issue with the lobby entrance of the building and she resolved this by communicating with the building management. We had a great time in the accomodation and felt relaxed for our week abroad with the children

We had a lovely time! What a unique stay! We loved having the pool to use on a quiet day or to refresh as we explored the area. As a family of 4 we had more than enough space. The parking is also super convenient. The host was very helpful with our questions. They also provided many local recommendations

Espaço ideal para passar uns dias de férias em família. O condomínio dispõe de diversas comidades para enriquecer a estadia. O Tiago é um ótimo anfitrião, sempre contactável e atencioso.

Miguel was so great to work with. We had a tired and hot kids, and I did not read the directions for entry. Host was so helpful getting us in. Property was so beautiful, and area has so much to explore, as well as live music. Read the directions for entry, much easier to work through if you do that before you arrive. The tech of the building is so cool, as well as the layout of the condo. Would definitely return here. They had some great kids toys and the pool was perfect.

Many people say that they are going to stay at the same place if they return. We did this!! Tri’s place have everything we want in a place away from home. It is close to stores and restaurants. Easy parking and a nice little balcony. There’s even two pools too choose between. We have said it before and we will say it again. This is the place we are going to stay at next time in Tavira.

Had a lovely week in this house, location is probably the best in Tavera for resteraunts and ferry to the beach. Train station a 20 min walk which connects you to the whole of the Algarve. Probably the best equipped kitchen of any air bnb I have stayed in, you could cook and seat 20 if you wished. The roof terrace was a bonus for views, seating and chilling. We were two people staying so had a bedroom, bathroom and dressing room each, loads of great communal space as well. Mat’s was very attentive to our needs and gave some great recommendations for eating out. Nikita at the end of the road was amazing food and reasonable. Would recommend a stay here.
