We enjoyed a very relaxing and easy 7 days at Marie's house. The place is stunning, even more so than the pictures, and the effort that has gone into maintaining it is evident. Marie was always responsive when we had any questions either about the house or the local area, and waited to meet us after our late night flight, so we wouldn't miss the turning for the house. Getting into Tavira is super easy, the only consideration is that the driveway of the house is long and very bumpy. You don't need a 4x4 or anything, but it was a bit of a surprise the first time we got there! Would very much recommend this place and the local area. Merci, Marie!

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

Great place Very private and well furnished

We loved this house. It is beautifully designed and every detail has been properly thought through - from top to bottom. We particularly loved the plunge pool and roof terrace, the two shower rooms, the comfy bed and proximity to the town square (a 5 minute walk). The decoration is modern but Portugese in flavour and there are lots of lovely touches like the wonderful coffee machine, the extensive collection of teas and a welcome bottle of wine. Fantastic location right in the center with everything close by, super clean and cozy stay with a great terrace. I traveled with two friends, we had a great time and the host's attention was great, we felt super good, we hope to return.

We’ve just spent a relaxing week at Quinta do Sol. We loved that the location is rural and peaceful but there’s a supermarket 5 minutes drive and Tavira town about 10 minutes drive and beaches not much further. The house is comfortably furnished with good kitchen and bathrooms. We really enjoyed the pool and shady terrace area (which is about 100m from the house) Sophie met us at the house even though we arrived at 9pm and was always really responsive to any messages. We accidentally locked ourselves out and she came quickly to our rescue! She also recommended some great beaches. We would definitely stay again.

Had a great time. The house is absolutely beautiful, mega beautiful view and very nicely decorated. Really full of comforts and upon arrival we even received a welcome package prepared by Lina and Helga. The pool is also very nice and pleasant with kids. We'd love to come back!

Anthony is an extremely friendly and helpful host. We felt very comfortable in his immaculate apartment with a spacious terrace. The location cannot be better, the apartment is very central, you can get to both the city center and famous sights quickly. At the same time, it is quiet. We can highly recommend this apartment.

We’ve not stayed at a better location, highly recommended. Located just a few minutes walk from a world-class beach. A secure location within a complex that allows you to reside with others in the community, while at the same time having privacy. Every convenience and necessity is made available. The kitchen facilities are modern and very complete, all that you may need during an extended visit is provided. Manta Rota is a delightful village, we made many new friends. The hosts, Lucy and Carlos, are welcoming, helpful and friendly. They involved themselves personally to be sure we were comfortable and fully satisfied. They made every effort to ensure our stay was memorable. They have a flair for decoration and delight in creating a chic and upscale ambiance. The cleanliness, quality and decor is first rate. Facilities are modern & in top condition. Description and photos are completely accurate. Heating systems were excellent. We booked to return, which confirms our recommendation.

A lovely apartment in a great location. The views of the harbour from the windows were lovely to wake up to and the roof terrace was superb. This apartment oozes style and every detail is considered for a comfortable stay. We booked this at short notice for us and didn’t really know what to expect about the area, needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. There are an abundance of great restaurants on the doorstep. We took the ferry across to Portugal for 2.5 euros each way. Definitely worth a trip. LPA restaurant was our favourite with excellent food at a reasonable price. I recommend booking early but in all honesty we didn’t have one bad meal in Ayamonte! ☀️

Very good location, next to the beach. The floor is as described in the advertisement. The terrace overlooks the sea and its host is very attentive and helpful with everything. Thank you for everything.

Steffanie was great at check-in, she met us there early and talked us through the place. Lovely apartment with a great pool that our girls loved even in the cooler weather. The apartment is close to a nice street full of restaurants and bars. We took a taxi to Tavira a few times as we loved exploring there.

Great long weekend to enjoy the wonderful beaches and pools. Very beautiful apartment with lots of light. The stairs inside the house were not a problem even though we have a small daughter. Supermarkets and good restaurants are very close. We will come back!

We have a great time as a family here, we would recommend. The pool is enormous and a unique setting and a lovely place to spend some time after exploring.

Miguel was so great to work with. We had a tired and hot kids, and I did not read the directions for entry. Host was so helpful getting us in. Property was so beautiful, and area has so much to explore, as well as live music. Read the directions for entry, much easier to work through if you do that before you arrive. The tech of the building is so cool, as well as the layout of the condo. Would definitely return here. They had some great kids toys and the pool was perfect.

Many people say that they are going to stay at the same place if they return. We did this!! Tri’s place have everything we want in a place away from home. It is close to stores and restaurants. Easy parking and a nice little balcony. There’s even two pools too choose between. We have said it before and we will say it again. This is the place we are going to stay at next time in Tavira.

Had a lovely week in this house, location is probably the best in Tavera for resteraunts and ferry to the beach. Train station a 20 min walk which connects you to the whole of the Algarve. Probably the best equipped kitchen of any air bnb I have stayed in, you could cook and seat 20 if you wished. The roof terrace was a bonus for views, seating and chilling. We were two people staying so had a bedroom, bathroom and dressing room each, loads of great communal space as well. Mat’s was very attentive to our needs and gave some great recommendations for eating out. Nikita at the end of the road was amazing food and reasonable. Would recommend a stay here.

Ricardo and Jennie’s lovely apartment is every bit as good as the pictures and reviews suggest. It is clean, bright, modern, and comfortable, with the most gorgeous sea view. Perfectly located close to all the promenade has to offer, but still very quiet and peaceful. It is clear how much thought and effort they have put into the property, from the tasteful decor to the items for the beach, and everything in between. It has everything you could possibly need and more. Ricardo and Jennie were also very thoughtful providing items for our baby. I have been on Airbnb for 12 years and this was my favorite one yet. We will be back, and now we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Quarteira! Thank you, Ricardo and Jennie (and Vera!)
