We enjoyed a very relaxing and easy 7 days at Marie's house. The place is stunning, even more so than the pictures, and the effort that has gone into maintaining it is evident. Marie was always responsive when we had any questions either about the house or the local area, and waited to meet us after our late night flight, so we wouldn't miss the turning for the house. Getting into Tavira is super easy, the only consideration is that the driveway of the house is long and very bumpy. You don't need a 4x4 or anything, but it was a bit of a surprise the first time we got there! Would very much recommend this place and the local area. Merci, Marie!

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

This is a wonderful house in a dreamy area. We spent a week with our small children and were able to relax and explore the various towns and beaches of the area. We were blown away by the spacious yet comfortable interior and its magical master bed room on the 1st floor with windows to all sides including a few of the neighboring vineyards and the sea. The owner clearly payed attention to the little details that turn a house into a home, like a Bluetooth speaker in the living room or a well equipped kitchen. Staff members as super friendly as well. The service included one room service/cleaning of the place mid-week which we also appreciated. We highly recommend the house to anyone seeking a bit of quite time in the middle of the busy Algarve.

We loved this house. It is beautifully designed and every detail has been properly thought through - from top to bottom. We particularly loved the plunge pool and roof terrace, the two shower rooms, the comfy bed and proximity to the town square (a 5 minute walk). The decoration is modern but Portugese in flavour and there are lots of lovely touches like the wonderful coffee machine, the extensive collection of teas and a welcome bottle of wine. Fantastic location right in the center with everything close by, super clean and cozy stay with a great terrace. I traveled with two friends, we had a great time and the host's attention was great, we felt super good, we hope to return.

Staying at Lina and Helge's house was a dream: away from the frenetic Algarve tourism, the neighbor warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home. We enjoyed the pool, the view from the desk over the hills, played cards in the shaded courtyard and relaxed wonderfully. We discovered the beautiful beaches from here without any problems. The cooking island invited us to cook together, the jukebox played our Portugal playlist. We enjoyed the stay very much and hope to return again.

We had a perfect week away at this lovely apartment. We were greeted warmly, and our stay was comfortable, with everything we needed. The apartment is just a few minutes walk from the beautiful long beach. There are lots of bars, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, and the day ferry to Spain is only a few miles away. Thank you for the relaxing break.

A lovely apartment in a great location. The views of the harbour from the windows were lovely to wake up to and the roof terrace was superb. This apartment oozes style and every detail is considered for a comfortable stay. We booked this at short notice for us and didn’t really know what to expect about the area, needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. There are an abundance of great restaurants on the doorstep. We took the ferry across to Portugal for 2.5 euros each way. Definitely worth a trip. LPA restaurant was our favourite with excellent food at a reasonable price. I recommend booking early but in all honesty we didn’t have one bad meal in Ayamonte! ☀️

Highly recommend and I would return. Isabelle (Fernando’s mother greeted me at the apartment). The apartment is spotless and very comfortable. It is quiet with a nice balcony. It’s a short walk to everything in Tavira. The dining room/ living room is larger than the photos. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to cook meals. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. I enjoyed a wonderful time in Tavira.

Wonderful, specious two bedroom and two bathroom, ac, clean and modern and had good coffee provided. We enjoyed our accommodations and had a very good experience.

Steffanie was great at check-in, she met us there early and talked us through the place. Lovely apartment with a great pool that our girls loved even in the cooler weather. The apartment is close to a nice street full of restaurants and bars. We took a taxi to Tavira a few times as we loved exploring there.

Great long weekend to enjoy the wonderful beaches and pools. Very beautiful apartment with lots of light. The stairs inside the house were not a problem even though we have a small daughter. Supermarkets and good restaurants are very close. We will come back!

Lovely stay with Joana! Comfortable and peaceful place with a great pool. Supermarket and Tavira shopping center were within walking distance. The location is just outside the center, but very manageable if you enjoy walking. Communication with Joana was excellent. A great base to explore Tavira and the surrounding area. Definitely recommended!

We had a lovely time! What a unique stay! We loved having the pool to use on a quiet day or to refresh as we explored the area. As a family of 4 we had more than enough space. The parking is also super convenient. The host was very helpful with our questions. They also provided many local recommendations

My husband & I had never been to Portugal. We stayed in Ana's apartment for 9 nights. Everything about this apartment was absolutely perfect for us, quiet, alter safe with code entry system at main door/swimming pool and the actual apartment door is top quality heavy duty, even Ronnie Briggs wouldn't be able to get in. Electric Stutters in all rooms also made you feel safe when out and about, however as I mentioned this area of Cabanas Taveria is super safe. It was the best nights sleep we had in years as with the shutters down it's dark with no sun pollution made us sleep till 8 am on some days. The cleanliness of the apartment /layout is superior to any other AirB&B we have stayed in & we have experienced a few over the years. The pool is fabulous to relax by after doing the tourist bit. Ana is available if needed and also Ana has a great chap called Ruben that lives in Cabanas should you need anything or advice. Book it. 10 out of 10 Will be returning. Thanks Ana.

Miguel was so great to work with. We had a tired and hot kids, and I did not read the directions for entry. Host was so helpful getting us in. Property was so beautiful, and area has so much to explore, as well as live music. Read the directions for entry, much easier to work through if you do that before you arrive. The tech of the building is so cool, as well as the layout of the condo. Would definitely return here. They had some great kids toys and the pool was perfect.

Many people say that they are going to stay at the same place if they return. We did this!! Tri’s place have everything we want in a place away from home. It is close to stores and restaurants. Easy parking and a nice little balcony. There’s even two pools too choose between. We have said it before and we will say it again. This is the place we are going to stay at next time in Tavira.

Had a lovely week in this house, location is probably the best in Tavera for resteraunts and ferry to the beach. Train station a 20 min walk which connects you to the whole of the Algarve. Probably the best equipped kitchen of any air bnb I have stayed in, you could cook and seat 20 if you wished. The roof terrace was a bonus for views, seating and chilling. We were two people staying so had a bedroom, bathroom and dressing room each, loads of great communal space as well. Mat’s was very attentive to our needs and gave some great recommendations for eating out. Nikita at the end of the road was amazing food and reasonable. Would recommend a stay here.

Ricardo and Jennie’s lovely apartment is every bit as good as the pictures and reviews suggest. It is clean, bright, modern, and comfortable, with the most gorgeous sea view. Perfectly located close to all the promenade has to offer, but still very quiet and peaceful. It is clear how much thought and effort they have put into the property, from the tasteful decor to the items for the beach, and everything in between. It has everything you could possibly need and more. Ricardo and Jennie were also very thoughtful providing items for our baby. I have been on Airbnb for 12 years and this was my favorite one yet. We will be back, and now we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Quarteira! Thank you, Ricardo and Jennie (and Vera!)
