For trips to Palermo or the more distant sandy beaches, a car is recommended, but within walking distance you’ll find a rocky beach, a super well-equipped small supermarket (B+F), and “Ganci” – always open for very affordable snacks, cafe, gelato, or a spritz. Villa Claudia offers the best of both worlds: ideal for spending a few relaxing days there and as a perfect base to begin wonderful experiences in Palermo, at lively beaches, or in the hinterland.

Guiseppe was a very nice host. His dogs are very sweet and loving. The accommodation is beautiful and you have everything you need there. The pool is the perfect place to relax after the beach. It has such a beautiful view of the mountains when the sun is out and it is so beautiful and green around the pool. The accommodation is quite central, you walk across the street and are right on the sea. However, the "beach" there is rather rocky. Mondello beach is only 10 minutes' walk away. All in all, we would recommend the accommodation :)

If you are searching for a wonderful stay in Palermo look no further, book now. The flat is in the center of the Kalsa District. Locked gate to enter. Great restaurants close by, grocery store and bay front park. Easy access to Mondello Beach and Cefalu by driver or train. Flat response large, upscale and beds are comfortable . Bathrooms are large and beautiful. Can’t say enough about this beautiful stay!

Wow! From the moment we arrived Francesco and Cynthia made us feel welcome, at home and we left feeling like part of their family. The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful, private section with everything we needed - including a lovely outdoor shower, table and chairs. The private pool was perfect for a dip after our day trip to Palermo. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Mondello beach, and lots of bars and restaurants. They responded to every request immediately - even driving to the supermarket to buy us bottles of water! Cynthia even wrote a plan for us when visiting Palermo - which we used and worked perfectly. We’ll remember this holiday forever because we got engaged on the trip. But also because we met such wonderful people and stayed in such a beautiful home - thank you Francesco and Cynthia! As promised, we will definitely be back one day ❤️

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Sicily with my family! The house is incredibly charming and well-equipped, with a beautiful, meticulously maintained garden and a lovely pool that became an oasis for all of us during the hot days. The outdoor kitchen was a huge bonus – being able to cook and enjoy local ingredients outside really gave an authentic Mediterranean feel. We shared some memorable family dinners with views over the landscape. The host was incredibly generous and friendly, always ready to offer tips on attractions and local restaurants. It was clear that he genuinely cares about his guests having a great experience. His hospitality made us all feel at home right away. Overall, this accommodation exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and genuine Sicilian experience with loved ones!

We stayed at Lampeduso for 3 nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. It’s such a great Airbnb in a perfect location. Palermo is such an interesting city, with its mix of cultures and all its gritty charm. The palace was perfect. It rained for two of the days we were there, but because the villa was so fantastic, the weather didn’t affect us at all. The place is huge, with great amenities that made a big difference—washer and dryer for our soaked clothes, umbrellas ready to go, and plenty of space to enjoy a good card game. When the sun did come out, we spent early evenings on the patio next to the pool. Honestly, the villa alone makes us want to return to Palermo.

The whole apartment is amazing but the roof top in particular was out of this world! To have the outside space in the middle of the city is a real treat and Stefania’s place is an oasis of calm. It is just off the main thoroughfare so brilliantly located yet very peaceful. We were two couples and there was masses of space to be together and have some privacy when wanted. The kitchen has everything and more and I think belongs to a very good cook! Stefania arranged a taxi from the airport which made arrival smooth - especially as a flight change meant we arrived late and finding the apartment without Andrea’s help would have been much more difficult. We received lots of information in advance and were given tips and suggestions for places to visit and eat in Palermo. Everyone we encountered to do with the apartment was charming and could not have been more help including the friendly neighbour and delightful housekeeper. Thank you so much Stefania. Wish the dogs were included!!

Great stay in a beautiful apartment! Super central location, very large apartment, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

The apartment has lots of character, with old fashioned furniture but in a good way. The small terrace is lovely with lots of plants surrounding you, a good place to have breakfast or read a book. Very comfortable bed and effective AC in the bedroom. Plenty of space. A great location in the old town with easy walking access to loads of good restaurants and bars, but also close to the more modern marina and its restaurants. It seems very secure with the lock system of the building generally. Lots of interesting books on Sicily spread around the place. Francesca was extremely helpful.

The location is fantastic to explore Palermo, everything is walking distance in the centre. The apartment is spacious and well decorated with all you could need for a stay. An absolutely beautiful and impeccable apartment! The location is just perfect to step out and enjoy all that the center of Palermo has to offer. Franco was an incredible host, very communicative and clear with instructions even sending pictures along the way to ensure we were able to locate parking and check in with ease. I never expected an unassuming alley to lead to such a stunning building and apartment. If I am ever lucky to find myself in Palermo again I will certainly be staying at Casa Petra! Loved the bright, airy, comfortable and well designed duplex flat with uber slow elevator to top floor! The street is very ‘rough’ pavement-wise and at a cross section with an abandoned building - off putting at first but Bianca’s place is truly a refuge from the grittier albeit fascinating side of Palermo. Everything you’d want to visit is within reach by foot. I am a solo traveler , 70 yrs old who would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay in a great location! Chiara was super friendly and gave us lots of recommendations and areas to explore. The air con and doors muted any noise from outside and made it a lovely stay in such a central part of the old town. The little balcony got a great amount of sun and was the perfect spot for a morning coffee. Certainly would recommend this airbnb!

This is our second time staying here. It’s in a prime location. It’s easy to check in and Silvio is quick to respond. The apartment is clean and has amenities. He also provided recommendations and helped me set up transportation service to the Airbnb and to the airport.

Dario was the best host ever. He was always willing to help and was flexible. The place is GORGEOUS! You basically have your own private villa. Close to Mondello beach where the sights are incredible and night life is crazy. It was a cozy spot, but had a classic Italian touch to it. I would highly highly recommend staying here. It was worth every penny.

A tranquil oasis of a place set in beautiful gardens, a fantastic pool and with very welcoming and generous hosts. We, a family of 4, spent 5 nights here in July and had a wonderful time. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance but having a car in the July heat made everything a good bit more comfortable. Highly recommend.

We were a family of seven, grandparents, parents, three very active boys (ages 6-12). The owner and his wife were gracious hosts, greeting us with Easter time treats. The house and gardens are even more impressive than the description. Our beds were comfortable. The kitchens were well-equipped. We had a mishap and the host generously helped to solve it. You must have a car. The host can recommend excellent beaches and fun things to do We would love to return.

Nuccia was a wonderful host. The house is near the airport and has amazing lemon trees in the garden. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. It was spotlessly clean, with a generous provision of towels, a well-kept pool, and great amenities throughout. Jessica was incredibly helpful and always available if we needed anything. We celebrated two birthdays during our stay, and Jessica went above and beyond by surprising us with a dessert cake—it was such a thoughtful gesture that made our time there truly unforgettable. We’re so grateful for her kindness and hospitality. Highly recommend this villa for a relaxing and memorable getaway!
