Vacation home rentals in Modica

We enjoyed our stay at Emanuele's place very much. He responded fast to any requests we had and even accommodated a very late check-in due to delays on our part. The apartment is spacious and keeps cool even in the heat of June (we didn't even use the AC). We enjoyed the spacious terrace, especially for breakfast and chilling in the evening. The marina and the beach are a 5-7 minutes walk away. The beach is very wide and clean, there are many restaurants and bars. It's also a good starting spot for daily excursions to Modica, Syracuse, Valley of the temples.

Rosario was always available, the apartment was clean and if I had questions, they helped me right away. The beach view and proximity to the sea are really wonderful.

There were two of us and we used a bed downstairs and the bed on the gallery. We felt very comfortable. The small garden with seating is perfect and the location on the edge of the old town (at the same time quiet) as well. Inside, we only stayed for sleeping and did not use the kitchen - we cannot say anything about it. Personally, I find 'closed' bed linen more pleasant, as it is more hygienic than sheets, but everything was fine. Parking: only a few free spaces. We have used paid (sufficiently available). But in the hotel you often have to pay for the parking space, so I didn't think that was bad.

Great place to stay! Close to the train station, easy to walk around the city and get to Ortigia island. Big appartment with everything you might need for your stay. Highly recommend!

A great place in the first row right on the sea. The apartment with a very large terrace is very clean, as good as new and absolutely recommended, especially because the rooms each had separate air conditioning. The terrace is sensational, as it offers a wonderful view of the sea over the dunes in front and always lets you hear the sound of the sea. At the same time, a staircase leads to the garden and from there it is only a few meters directly over the sand to the sea. So if you just want to refresh yourself in the sea for a short time, without walking far or wanting to lie on the beautiful sandy beach for a long time, you are in good hands here. There is a shower in the garden. The half-covered terrace also offers two sun loungers for sunbathing, but also a large shaded area with a table and seating. We mostly sat there and were very happy here in this little paradise and were also able to relax very well. We will be back !

The apartment is highly recommended! The location with the direct view of the sea from the balcony is absolutely unbeatable. You can walk to the beach in 2 minutes. In the nearby area, there is everything you need for a relaxing holiday and many beautiful cities and beaches can be reached quickly by car. Mariateresa was a great host who took care of all concerns very friendly and quickly! Thanks for a great stay:)

Anna was very helpful to me when I ran into some unexpected situations, for which I was very thankful. the apartment is great, has everything you need and is in a good location in Siracusa. i had a great stay and wish i could've stayed longer!

Carmelo’s place is in a great location in Ragusa Ibla - on the edge of the old city but with easy access (subject to climbing lots of steps) to all the sites. The house is very comfortable, although it is on several levels. There is a bathroom for each bedroom which was appreciated. We felt very much at home. Carmelo’s communication was good. I would certainly stay there again.

Ida is a very nice host & her frontlake house is amazing for relaxing holidays.

Summer vacation of absolute relaxation! We stayed at this facility in the 4th week of July. The house, newly built, offers all the comforts a family wants , especially with the presence of children, taking into account immediate access to the beach, bordered by only one gate. Equally appreciated was the green garden space, well cared for, including the presence of games and the beach equipment available to guests. A note of merit also for the managers/owners of the house, courteous and available to meet any need as soon as possible. The house also enjoys a great location, strategic to reach the towns of Avola, Noto and Ortigia, all almost equidistant from the structure (about 15/20 km) As for walking in the area, Fontane Bianche certainly does not allow excellent pedestrian mobility, but there are still essential services, bars, markets, restaurants, etc.

Super nice and clean apartment in a residential area, 5 min walk to a beautiful beach with flat entry and beach shower as well as a toilet in the nearby beach cafe. There was even an umbrella and chairs available for the beach at the apartment. There is a shared pool with several loungers. Pozzallo itself has a beautiful seafront promenade. Maria was very friendly and accommodating.

We had a wonderful time as a couple in this delightful Airbnb. The contact was very easy, the hostess and host were quick to respond and helped with questions. The tennis court, the pool and the rest of the facilities have given us a great end to our vacation. In addition, the owners are extremely sweet and cordial people. Nice house in a quiet place by a rocky shore. Great beds too. Too bad that there is so much garbage on the street in the coastal region of Sicily, as in this village. The village has a nice restaurant but there are no shops. It was very quiet at the beginning of May. Nearby, there is more than enough to see: nature, archaeology and cities such as Noto and Syracusa are beautiful.

We had a great time at Carmelo's place in his very new and very well-equipped accommodation. We were able to enjoy the magnificent terrace overlooking Syracuse and a surrounding garden with lemon and olive trees. We would 200% recommend this listing,

Perfect in every way for myself and a colleague while attending a conference. Slight downside was the noise from the street in the room without a glazed window. Only one key for sockets/wifi is possibly a problem for people sharing the accommodation who have independent schedules, but having access to the library in the building - cool and welcoming - made it workable for us. Creative and thoughtful optional breakfast was a wonderful bonus.

Beautiful stylish flat in a brilliant location overlooking a pretty square. Decorated and equipped to a very high standard. Spotlessly clean. Carmi, the host, was really attentive and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We spent lovely 5 days at Alessandra's place. It's a perfect place to come if you have children – both the apartment and the amazing terrace are very safe for toddlers, there is a plenty of baby equipment that we could use and also many toys and other useful things for the beach. Alessandra and Hedi (and their dog:) are super friendly, warm-hearted hosts, very helpful and communicative. It really seems they enjoy having guests and taking care of them. In November the neighbourhood was very quiet, we had the beach for ourselves. Overall a great experience!

Noto has a very laid-back atmosphere. The location is conveniently situated along the main road, although there are some stairs to climb—nothing to worry about. The interior matches the pictures and is quite pleasant. They also provide a beach umbrella, which we found very useful. In the city, you'll find various shops, including pastry, baking, and panini shops, all within walking distance. The hosts are friendly and welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The hosts were just lovely, always ready to do a favor and very welcoming. Their kindness and availability made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was perfect, the entire apartment instead of the agreed-upon room. Unfortunately, because of the work in progress, it was difficult to get to the place easily. Lorenzo, however, gave us valid alternative information.

We had a great time at Giangiacomo's place! Fantastic location with direct access to the sea. Very calm! Perfect for some relaxing days! We had no car. We took a taxi from Siracusa to the house and used the bikes for grocery shopping during our stay (there's a litte shop 10 minutes away). Giangiacomo and his girlfriend were very nice hosts and always helpful.

Wonderful hosts with an amazing property in an ideal location. We didn't want to leave .... ever! :) Ada was fantastic from booking through check out. They offered fabulous recommendations and a beautiful home with the best of everything, including washer & dryer and valet parking! We cannot wait to return!! Highly recommended!!!
